    What does the word “progressive” mean in this batt?
    Is that burnishing brush the same kind I would need for my blending board?
    Why would you make a batt like this if you plan to spin each color separately in long sections? (This was I think one of the options you mentioned. Or is that for a pre-made batt?)

      It means you progress from one color to another that will give either dark to light, light to dark,or separate colors progressing however you want. Usually it refers to light to dark color progression.

      Enough to cover without any “bald “ spots. It depends on how much blending of color I want. I believe you are asking about one pass, and not the finished batt? Usually my batts weigh around 3oz or just over.
