your dog is very calm and quiet, never barks even if you invite him to camp in the forest... Dogs usually have strong instincts when it comes to seeing something strange and the dog will definitely bark.

I camp with my weimaraner. He will not make a move or a sound unless there is a reason to go on alert. Then he sounds like a hound from hell. He even scares me when he goes off.
I have sent my dog out on an occasion or to to stave off any attacks.

Yeah, he did the right thing just abandoning it. With nothing to defend himself with, there wasn't much more he could've done. It's why I've always taken some sort of tool that can easily be used as a nasty weapon when wild camping; an axe or something like that.

I have been in the same situation a few times. After someone tore down my tent on a trip, I started carrying a powerful flashlight and a night vision camera. This makes it more difficult for intruders to hide. Thanks for the exciting video 🙂

The scariest thing about for me was, if it was a group of peeps messing about why 🤷🏻♀ weren’t they laughing or giggling. You’d defo hear that for sure. Unless it was an animal. Very brave Gaz respect for staying around. 🫡

Oh yeah, you can also buy motion sensor lights so powerful the person will be momentarily blinded so you can see them and they can’t see you. We have 4 and place them strategically around our RV. If something approaches the light is triggered and we can see what’s out there. Might get you some of them-and a German Shepherd.

The sounds can be overlaid in editing you no that's why fendi didn't react any normal dog or any animal reacts to noises they hear but if it was real then brown pants maggee we go

That's terrible that someone would destroy your tent. I couldn't believe all the snapping sounds, like someone was breaking branches. You need to put sensors & cameras, trail cameras etc.. around the area you camp at, that way if it is a person or persons you can turn them in for destroying your property.

This is why I never use a light when I'm camping. Everything can see you but you can't see anything.
Red light is the best. It wont mess with your eyes like white or led lights do. If you have to use a light at all. Plus. It doesnt travel as far. So its good for stealth camping

leave a camp light on to keep dear away form camp but yes people can see you but i use a axe a knife and sling shot its dangerous for them to sneak on my camp never sneak up on a camper you never know what they got

To me, there's not much that is more terrifying than being alone camping deep in the woods and having some unknown person or animal or whatever showing up to mess with you. Completely horrifying! At 2:35 if you slow the video down, you can clearly see a guy moving in the tree line just to the right over his tent. Moving from tree to tree and getting quite close at times to you and your tent. It seems he has some kind of mask on. Check it out, pretty creepy!!

I've gotta say... if you play it back during the time-lapse... as slowly as UA-cam allows... there really IS someone wearing a mask in the background, going from tree to tree! Very creepy!

i once went camping in an alley in blackpool for charity to raise mone yfor homeless where there qwhere dozens of crackheads and they attacked my tent.

Hey Gaz, that was really great! This one got me, and there's not much that does! Two things: Do you have any footage of the men that u mentioned running towards u? Cos that would be terrifying!! And the one thing that really scared me proper was the tent being pushed down on your head, however just a comment really, my personal opinion, I wish you would've saved that bit and not put it in the preview as then I knew it was coming so was less scared, but i did jump in the preview and still got spooked the 2nd time! I just think if i didn't know about it, 1st, i pretty much would've died!! And that would turn a great video into an awesome one! Lol. (Was still awesome, mate! I do like your music and the way you film and react!!) I can't believe you go to work in the morning straight after a night like this or just camping in general, lol. What's your day job, and do your workmates know what you've been up to all night? Lol. Sorry for all the questions, I just think you're very talented, and this is such an interesting and cool concept!

Im torn on believing this or not. A couple reasons why im thinking this way.
First being the belief you were deep in the woods yet could see vehicles lights that passed by while you were in the tent , and then the fact you jumped out of the tent without a light to shine and see what or where the threat was either animal or human.
Made me jump and genious way of keeping the suspense going during the video. Well done.
Stumbled across this channel completely at random and love it! That being said, i have camped solo in some of the most secluded places, green mountains, white mountains, Appalachian Mountains, cdt and many more, and not one single time have i had an experience with Humans trying to mess around with me. Now that i have said that, i absolutely have had encounters with "things" that till this day i cannot explain. I do not EVER enter the bush without a handgun, i feel like its a must because the only person thats gonna catch me with my pants down is my wife

I literally jumped out of my skin on that one Gaz. In the future i would pack a big can of mace for protection. Across the pond we stay Lock & Loaded. We live & we learn that's for sure. Strength & Honor Mate!

It sounds like either some crazy, eccentric person or a kinda, maybe goat man type creature that was making those sounds, snapping twigs, messing with you & scaring the bejeezes out of you & poor little Fendi.

I actually hike, backpack and camp in the Greater Yellowstone and Grand Teton areas. You need nerves of steel to do this where Grizzly and Black bear live and roam. Here the branch break could actually be bear or sasquatch! Loved the video...TERRIFYING!!! I enjoy your content as well as both yours and Fendel's personalities.

Gaz you defiantly need to invest in a good torch! going to places on your own and in the woods you always need a dam good torch with a good flood and throw of light. so you can see if anyone's out there. them torches you have are ok inside the tent but going out to see if anyone's there you need that brightness mate. its enough to make anyone out there know they can be seen! iv got the (OLIGHT SRMINI intimidator 2) and the (KLARUS g20) that are my main two ill take with me going outdoors. and a few more in case lol as iv many torches.
and them sounds were creepy for sure going on outside your tent. i bet your arse was making sandcastles sat there hearing that lol

Minutes before something/ someone attacked your tent there was couple of quiet barks but it didn't look like it was your wee buddy ... did you hear that ? Was it Fendy?
I doubt it was a Halloween prank .Grizzly wouldn't tear and slash his own stuff.
I'm surprised you didn't wake up between 3 piles of rocks or a bundle of twigs with someone's teeth and hair inside of it, Gaz. Lol. "Tell me where you are, Josh!!!"
This is a chilling one. You don't know if a goatman or bog creature is going to come until you would realize they are coming up on you. Then there's Medusa 😂
You need some infrared motion sensing trail cams on the trees around the tent and some motion sensing lights facing outward from the tent. Plus you also need to invest in one of those ultra bright LED torch’s that light up like the sun - they are so bright you’d blind anyone you shine it at.

Just out of morbid curiosity, but have you thought of placing your trail cam directly above your tent facing down? Might be able to at least see who or what is bothering you at night... also, there is a way to use a cell phone to see the light your trail cam uses, that might be how you lost that one after the stranger showed at camp for tea...

I love the fact you didn’t even use a flashlight to see what was happening around you but instead you used your camera to light yourself up so whatever it/they were could see your every move. Good thing you had a great attack dog to protect you😁. Thanks for the video, good chuckles

I'm a lone camper from time to time. A couple of times I was messed with by someone or something, really scary when you're alone. Now on my phone I have rhe sound of a shot gun being loaded and cocked like I'm getting ready to shoot. It's really loud, and two different times it really worked scaring whoever it was away. Just a little added protection. Love your videos. Maybe you need a machete and a can of bear spray since you can't carry a gun. The bear spray really helped me out a couple of times. Alot of crazies among other things lerking in the wilderness. Just stay safe and keep up the good work.😊
