As for the Companion rule I guess I sort of used that as a blanket term for making a card essentially cost more for being in your hand, regardless. Cascade is a better description, so I agree! Plot still seems pretty flexible which I think is going to ignite a lot of home brews. I’m excited.
If they made an adventure card have a combined cmc that would be even worse for game balance, because it means adventure creatures can just freeroll into cascade and discover decks, to be fair @g.n.s.
As soon as I saw Kellan Joins Up I thought the card should merge with the Reenact the Crime archetype in standard. I haven't tried it yet, but Kellan/Familiar paired with Reenact/Jewel+Vault should provide an insane amount of consistency with the added benefit of partially avoiding targeted graveyard hate
I'm very confused by the fact that once you were on 1 and couldn't cast the Atraxa, that you kept her in hand instead of discarding her off Jace, which woulda let you cast her when Tibalt went ultimate
53:20 - While I do agree that the mana base seems to be working overall, there were multiple instances of color screw when Seth needed to Supreme Verdict. I think that card in specific may be a bit to greedy on the mana base. Can the deck work with a more castable wrath? Or are there that many aggro decks in this format that have counterspells?
As weird as it is, the other 4-mana Wraths are harder to cast (Kaya's Wrath) or have downsides like Shatter the Sky or Depopulate. Actual Wrath of God and Day of Judgment aren't in Pioneer.

Seth I'm working on my Birgi Ignus Combo deck for Timeless, its quite fun and consistent. It mulligans really well, and its so satisfying to grapeshot or imact tremors somebody for 20.

Nah, that was for split cards, not double-face cards. Split cards used to have three different costs (left side, right side, both sides) that you could choose from when a card asks for mana value. Now it's always the combined cost.
I had the idea for a deck like this before the set released but it was waaaaay more all in. With a mana base of all early untapped lands to support it. I haven't played it because it's very wildcard intensive but looks like a good time and not as bad as I had originally conceived. It doesn't look to have the peaks of your deck cheating Atraxa or Ulamog early but it aims to whiff way less often. Instead of having a deck more dedicated to Bramble Familiar and it's payoffs like your's, mine aims to be more consistent at hitting that turn 2/3 plot, even including blue leyline for a turn 2 flash Jace because why not if the deck is all in anyway. It was really just an concept of "How can we abuse these Plot 3 or less cards?" and as I found out doing research the answer isn't great besides Valki. Bramble is decent but requires significant deck building commitment of additional payoffs. I went the other direction. Including more cards with a cheap, plottable front half, therefore making Bramble bad but making a card like "Release to the Wind" another enabler for the deck. And to be clear I don't expect it what I've made to be good. Just an idea of "How far can I take this Jank concept?". Kinda wish I could test my deck but alas. If you wanna have a higher chance of turboing out Jace or Kellan Joins Up wouldn't Goose be better to have a 4 off than running 8 elves? More consistently the right colors, though you do lose some long game.
He already has 8 unplayable bricks in the deck it’s probably not great to have another one, especially one that only helps with jace and doesn’t help any other part of the deck
this is a terrible combo that doesn't help at all. kellan joins up does the exact same thing on turn 2, and doesnt need some janky terrible 2 card combo that normally doesn't win the game bc u had to put 4 dead cards in ur deck for it to work.

On the game 2 against golgari vampires rigging (first bo3), you could've just transformed valki into the hammerskull AFTER attacking and wouldn't get a stun counte
So I don't think I'm going to use this in Pioneer, way too expensive, but this might have just solved a Commander I was debating selling and was gonna be sad because while he's my first I've never done a lot with him due to not having the right stuff/knowing the typical stuff you do with him. I think with this combo though this could be what we've been looking for all this time.

For the Desparking stuff, it's been mostly inconsistent, we know Nissa lost hers, but like Chandra, Kaya, and Ajani kept theirs, Jace kept his, Vraska lost hers. It was less "the big 5 all got desparked" and more like "we desparked people at completely random."

the biggest problem w this deck is ur filling up 8 slots w completely dead draws, and jace is a dead draw turns 1-3. 12 cards, or roughly 20% of your deck, is completely worthless most of the game. def better than the leyline of anticipation bs, i still dont get how some people think that's good, but i dont see it being seriously good.

It's a Dynavolt Tower + Paradox Engine deck. I think you should check it out and try to improve upon my list, I think the deck is solid but could use some tweaking and I have faith in you to do that better than I did)
Multiple cards on one card (split cards, adventures, DFC,etc) have long been known to have good interactions with ways to cast free spells. So at this point if it is a design mistake then they really don’t know their game.

golden goose seems like a much better mana dork if your goal is to cast a tri-color or double-U spell on turn 2 or 3

why don't you run the pathway lands more? they enter untapped and you can choose the color you need.
I don't really like pathways in three color decks, I'd rather just play more "real" dual that always make multiple colors.
