@iexist9966 …I’m not even sure what you’re arguing here. The basis of this series is showing newer players; older no longer supported archetypes that are unfun to play against such as stax or ponza. 44:30 -ish. They Blinked the amulet. Because they blinked the amulet it's technically a completely new amulet without any connection the the Phelia that was previously exiled with it. This is why they can have multiple cards exiled with one amulet because it's different instances of the same card.
So, when you play both forsaken monument and arid mesa in this deck, you get to play this whole game with your ugin's labyrinth focused on getting down monument as soon as possible so you can tap labyrinth to return your devourer of destiny or something else crazy and just cast it and then return the labyrinth at something with mesaimprinted mana to have very sneaky turns, like if they don't keep in mind that we are actually plus 3 mana on our next turn.
Is Devourer of Destiny actually good? I feel like in every game I see a streamer play with it, it's basically "if this Devourer hits Ugin's Labyrinth it's on ", and then it never does (which makes sense, it's like a 4 in 53 shot). Not a bug, creatures that come under your control have summoning sickness until the begining of your next upkeep. It's why every threaten effect in the game gives the creatures haste.
