OK, just got back from a 2 1/2 weeks trip in Europe, and I cheated, I used a compact lightweight portable folding luggage carrier that saved my shoulder and back. I used it as a backpack only as needed like boarding the plane, going up stairs, rain, and etc. What I like best about the backpack is the security features, the tough material, and sleek look. The only inconvenience is that the front pockets are a bit tight to access if the bag is full, and to access the main compartment you have to flip it over so the backside is up, or unzipped the front partition to access the main compartment, but then you have the floppy partition you need to fold over awkwardly and make sure it won't flop back. Other than that, I like the bag...I have to like it because it's an expensive bag to start with.
Ive taken this bag through hell over the last three years of constant extended travel and abuse. Theres improvements sure. But hands down the most reliable piece of kit I have ever owned.
I absolutely love the design except for the back lid and the fact that the backpack hangs on the zippers 😢 This is why I got the Shimoda Explore 35 a month ago.
@@swixk If the zipper failed when the bag is full, during a walk for example, the bag would swing open ejecting the contents, likely ruining your equipment, basick Murphy's law or just my paranoia. Also I know you'll get a new one as I did, zipper failure on the 5L sling bag. But why set yourself up for that from the beginning.
@@kevlarnegative I heard you. Anyways, the straps are uncomfortable, so better get another one for heavy gear and long walk :) For use case, only a laptop + clothes, so no risk.
All weight should really be on the hip belt, with the shoulder straps just keeping it in place. The first travel bag design to execute this will take the lead.
I have just watched your 5 Best Backpacks for Everyday Carry [2022 EDC Guide] video which was borderline unwatchable and I wanted to check if you had maybe listened to the complaints and stopped reviewing black stuff against a black background and nope, still pushing through I see lol please for the love of christ just put on a white background
For once, this is a case where I prefer the written review. The whole headless anonymity thing for a backpack doesn't really work when describing straps and carry, just to be cut off and out of frame in B-roll. The whole black on black and moving studio portrait lighting bit is infuriating too.
This sounds so strained, like you wrote it without consideration for how it would sound when spoken aloud. I haven’t seen your more recent videos, admittedly, but hopefully you’ve changed the tone coz it’s frankly uncomfortable.

May I know what packing cubes are those?
Can I order it from India.
Hi what brand:model are the pens, notebook and key holder in the flatlay section of your video? Thanks
There’s another YT channel dedicated to carry gear that’s been using that same intro song for years. Just an FYI.
Good work 👍

What's wrong with that? If the zippers fail, you can get another one for free...

You are describing a hiking backpack, not a travel backpage
lighten the background, black on black is challenging to see. thanks
