I hope you’ll also react to Wintersun’s “Loneliness.” It demonstrates the very best of Jari’s passion, as it was written soon after the death of his father. It’s heart-breakingly gorgeous. Jari has to be one of the most passionate performers in metal, right alongside Tuomas. Really, the whole Forest Seasons album is amazing, but it’s not an understatement to say Jari saved the best for last (Loneliness being the last track).
Now this is why I like reaction videos. Never hared Wintersun before and damn you! Got to go buy something of theirs now!

I've been listening to Wintersun since 2004ish. They're absolutely unbelievable.
The nice thing about Wintersun music is that Jari doesn't really compromise, usually. The songs are exactly as long as they are supposed to be. Another thing that I love are the intros. For me the intro of a song is the most important part and sets the mood and framework for the whole song and Wintersun usually give these really long and majestic intros which help to carry the rest of the songs. Sons of Winter and Stars also has an intro, but since the song is such a behemoth, the intro is also 4+ minutes long and is treated as a separate track called "When Time Fades Away", which is not often heard, sadly, but Sons of Winter and Stars actually works really well without the intro nonetheless. Great reaction, keep it up! :)

I'm 3 months late in replying - just wanted to once again an excellent reaction - I noted your admiration for the nice work on bass at one point - that is another Jukka who has taken Marko's role in Nightwish!
Now this is hard stuff to sell, but if you're willing to do somber stuff, then Wintersun - Loneliness. It's sould crushing stuff, when you condsider that it's probably heavily impressed by Jari's father passing away. The entire album is brilliant, but maybe more something that you listen to on your own time.
I think that this is a new style in heavy music - Wizard Metal. )

After Marco leave the Band, Nightwish must have a new Bassist, her he is, Jukka from Wintersun.
The most impressive thing I still find that Jari can do all this with his voice, with missing a part of 1 lung.

The vocals reminded me of Devin Townsend, not a bad thing by any stretch. Musically, this is a magnum opus for them. I was impressed enough that I typed words with more than one syllable and made educated comparisons. My brain is now resetting.

its so sad, rapping bout dope and bitches n all is ok on radiostations. But Metal is too hard? Pathetic^^ I'm happy as one of our national stations atleast has some special evenings with either metal on wednesday, reggae on tuesday and hiphop on friday. Love em all =)

@@Cj-bw3hn the Forest Seasons album has instrumentals of the songs on that album. And his heavy vocals arent bad. I like heavy vocals and Jari's are a nice spot for me (i cant listen to bands that have really really heavy vocals)
