  • Today I'm testing Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge! Does it actually work or will it be a big craft flop? This could be a huge crafting game changer if it actually works! I'll be putting 5 different methods to the test: Cricut vinyl on glass, collaged printer paper, glitter, tissue paper, and acrylic paint. See if it really works!
    Have you tried Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge? Leave a comment below with your experience to help other crafters decide if they should buy!

    I like the idea of this product because I don't need it to actually be dishwasher safe. I just need it to be water resistant.

    You should spray the paper with hairspray and let it dry before you ModPodge it on the mug to keep the ink from streaking

    That was really surprising. I have been working with that dishwasher-safe Mod Podge for a long time. The only sad thing about it is really that after dried, you see any brushstrokes really clearly. I would love if that product was a spray. But oh well, it is still a fantastic product.

    • @parejeda
      @parejeda  3 роки тому +4

      Definitely! If they could have it as a spray that would be so much better. I also wish it was food safe. There could be so much more to use it for if that was the case!

    Not sure if they changed their chemicals or they added it recently but when I bought mines last week, the dishwasher safe modpodge says it's non toxic and it's water-based so it's safe to place on the rim.
    I am curious how this will compete with with a non toxic spray paint.

    • @strawberrym00n

    I don't know if this is a case if the longer the better to let it dry or if it's best to follow the directions perfectly.

    Also this stuff blew my mind when my coworker bought it for a class project, and it's extremely ironic to me because I'd sworn off modpodge's entire brand existence for years because I used it once as a kid and the humidity of Tennessee was too wet and made it melt into a permanent sticky glue on the surface of my project lol

I haven't made any but I've made reels on Instagram and it can take 40 minutes to make a 40 second reel! Then when you go to post it it won't post and you have to start over completely!!!!
