@@strawberryfields9762 gotta say this is Rampardos but how it should do
And this is why Weather was no longer Permanent in Gen 6.
I never understood why they had weather abilities as permernant. It was alright when only two pokemon had drought and drizzle but giving it to others without a nerf was a mistake. Making so many buffs to sand was also crazy
It was because Sand and hail had no offensive exploits prior to gen 5 and Rain/Sun we’re only available on two mons who were restricted. Politoed, Ninetales, Sand Rush/Sand Force were all that was needed to break weather.
@Chris Anderson Hail is the worst weather due of not bringing many boosts from it, it just makes blizzard 100% accurate and raise Aurora Veil
@@yourdailysadisticfolkfromi6619 Exactly, Game Freak have no idea how to buff Ice types (even tho several fan-games have proven how easy it is) meanwhile they just keep introducing more broken stuff per Gen instead of fixing the core gameplay:
*Dynamax; banned to ubers (as a concept it's even more broken than Megas since essentially Megas + Z-moves combined).
*Dracovish; A more broken Kingdra that can sand sweep AND has a stab 170 power move (banned).
*Galarian Darma; Has a built-in choice band and it stacks with an actual choice band or scarf? (banned).
*Cinderace; Essentially protean Greninja with just as much utility but as a physical sweep (likely on its way to being banned).
Funny how Aegislash and Mimikyu got nerfed yet they still OU stables while more broken mons were introduced lol.
@@Xboxsold ,
Solomon R. Here.
I do recall using Excadrill back then, it was my second time going into vgc and my first time getting top cut (I was also one of the few, if only, people to cut with a vaporeon as well)
Such a great time then...
Wow its an honor ,i am here trying my best to reach top 50 with zoroark🤣
Congratulations
Do you remember the rest of your team? It’s all listed with question marks in the vid
Incredible you were able to do so well in vgc with 3 unknowns. What hidden powers did you have most success with 😉
Someone explain the unowns 😂😂
3 Generations = 35 Minutes
Tyranitar and/or Starmie are absolutely going to be a full length movie.
Landorus T and Heatran as well
Four generations
Starmie's VGC career is pretty short.
He's already done those two
King Woomy very early on though, Starmie was before Scizor and Ttar was either the week before or after Scizor.
Ubers: Exists
Excadrill: How do you do fellow OU mons?

Meta game at the end of 2010s: sand teams featuring excadrill
i'm gonna need to see a "How good was Xatu actually?" because of that seemingly random drop of a XATU in ubers of all tiers
Xatu is one of those Pokemon that has niches even if they rate low in the tiers.
Xatu's ability magic bounce makes it have a pretty good niche due to it been part flying to avoid spikes and having defog even if they manage to set up toxic spikes
"how good was magic bounce actually"
Casey Lee Well.
He’ll do it when he does “how good was magic bounce actually?”
Sandslash: “Face it! You’re never going to get my power.”
Excadrill: “Do I look like I need YOUR power?”
How good was Excadrill ? He rushed and forced the meta and finally broke the mold.
Nice

SE 10 Gooi Ching Khang I agree, but if I were to guess, I think the set existed to outspeed Pokémon with speed-boosting abilities. Not sure, but it might be the case, especially considering that the fifth generation was weather-centric.

they kinda got nerfed losing their dark/ghost resistance
I love seeing these with Pokemeon, but I would really appreciate a history of some of the items that changed the game. So, how good is EVIOLITE actually?

THE HISTORY OF LITTLE CUP OU
I think it can be cool and cute
Scizor was there for gens 2-7 and got a 40min video whilst Excadrill has only been here for 4 gens and got 35min
Good luck on the Landorous T vid if your team ever makes it
Scizor’s only really been around since Platinum. Before that it barely existed.
Excadrill was undoubtedly one of the many Gen 5 Pokemon that was amazing, in terms of battle efficiency

Yes, Excadrill really was one of the many gen 5 Pokémon
