Boi you need more subs, looking at the quality of your analysis/content
0:46 OH COME ON!! YOU TROLLED ME!
It’s a crime Hitmonchan wasn’t in Gen 9, the new Punching Glove item felt like it was made for him.
I know that this is going to start with "Unfortunately" but he's still one of my favorites, let's start the video.
Finally my boi. I know he's never been "good" in competetive but i'll always use the little guy in my runs when possible. He's just so cool imho.
Imagine if the Special split never existed Hitmonchan would be screwed.
Same with Beedrill, Raticate, Arbok, Wigglytuff, Machamp, Muk, Marowak, Hitmonlee, Lickitung, Kangaskhan, Scyther, Pinsir, Aerodactyl and Snorlax.
As would Porygon.
Most Pokemon would
I was waiting for this video for weeks!
Unfortunately! That should be a meme! Now we need Raticate, Primeape, and Hypno!
and Lickitung/Lickilicky
AND Dodrio
Jeez, that added Special bulk.
I guess Hitmonchan was hitting the books more than opposing 'Mons between Gen 1 and 2
Hitmonchan has my favourite design of all the Hitmon’s, too bad it’s always been overshadowed.
So when are we getting the destroyer of Kyogre and the OU metagame itself - the iron durian, Ferrothorn?
I know it's meant to be a good thing, but the term "even the bulkiest Chimecho" just made me giggle. That's not exactly the most intimidating statement.
Imagine how much he would appreciate getting Shadow Punch, even if to make up for not getting access to Sucker Punch or Iron Fist boost from it
We need to see "how good was starmie ACTUALLY" remake.
The aliteration at the start of the video was on point, congrats
Always appreciated the og fighting mons
It's a pity they were riddled with such a low base HP.
Wish he could be buffed up to 65 hp or something and 110 attack. It would be somewhat useful for it
the rush pokemon trilogy is amazing
I wonder what hitmonchan's actual hands look like.
Can you cover my favorite Bug Pokemon?
How Good Was Golisopod Actually?
I use it in Ranked and it does well as a lead with Mienshao or Weevile!
Moves I use: First Impression, Leach Life, Sucker Punch, Aqua Jet
Items I use:
Life Orb (Deals massive priority damage and puts you closer to reset if you're poisoned or stats lowered)
Red Card (Priority attacks, then if the opponent activates it, Red Card forces them to switch first, and then you get to counter-pick)
Assault Vest (I recommend using it as a mixed wall, you can lead with it and end with it if you get switched as the lead and priority sweep damaged teams)
Why in god's name would you ever give Hitmonchan a kicking move
Ayyy i was just watching the other two and was wondering where hitmonchan was great video!!
13:00
He is on the C Rank alongside PU and PUBL mons so...
And worst of all is that if he falls to PU, he gets outclassed by Hitmontop
UPDATE: He fell to PU, and while it has to compete with Mr. Rime for a spinner and with Throh as a Fighting-type, I think it may be able to find a niche on the tier
In Germany we have the SML. There it is in A-Tier and Decent. It has Power, but not enough. It has bulk, but not enough. It has utility, but not enough. Its only positve is, that there are not many fighting types in its Tier but a lot of decent normal Types.
Other Fighting Types in its Tier are Throh, Hitmontop, Primeape and Gurdurr. The Tier below has Combusken, Falinks, Machoke and Poliwrath.
With that, Hitmonchan gets picked nearly every season.
HE DIDN’T SAY THE WORD
WHY DIDN’T HE SAY THE WORD.
I feel like it might be interesting for you to try and cover the little cup mons.
Hitmonchan is untiered now. Sad days.
Nice vid, fam.
Now do How META-DEFINING was Farfetchd ACTUALLY?
or Raticate, I don’t mind either or
Me: Do you know how to make a bad video?
FSG: Unfortunately
Next do Sylveon pls if possible. That cute thing is like equal to hell for fire breathing dragons, creatures who can destroy ice and boulders, and evil monsters.
It would also complete the eeveelutions.
Being honest I always have had fun with hitmonchan in general, just a rapid spinner with iron fist, drain punch and coverage maybe an expert belt, it’s just fun.
I'm disappointed that Kallen didn't mention Poke Hunter at the beginning. That final fight with Machamp Norton was comedy gold.
