wouldnt it be faster to use a snowblower around the house, and the plow blade to push piles further away, and not risk damage to the house, and a cleaner look. Honda makes a Tracked snowblower that is great for cutting down heavy snowbanks (had a HS28A - thing was a beast..)... we cut through 10ft snowbanks that the town left covering a crosswalk, took some effort, but worked very well even on gravel driveways, and grass.
Cabins not built correctly have to have the edges of the roof plowed so the snow on the roof has some place to go. Way to deep for a walk behind snow blower..
lifting the cabin 6’ or so would simplify snow management, if you look at Alpine or Swiss house design they have high pitched roofs and 2 or 3 stories, there is a reason behind that design 😊
@@hartstudebakerkid You haven't seen what a Honda can do! Even a 20 year-old one can throw water 90 ft. I'm not kidding. I had one, when we used to get snow in Ottawa, Canada. I was expecting someone to comment on the flag (Not USA) since so many confuse it with the RED Cross.
I'm sure that would be useful in some ways, but overall, a snowcat seems to reign supreme. The sheer depth of the snow requires a cat, I'd say. Thank you for tuning in!!
You will only gwt hurt through complacency! The PB that ran him over, was left in forward drive, and the brake was not set! I have a very thorough understanding of these machines, been running them for over 20 years! But to be run over by the very machine you are operating is a sign that maybe some training is in order.I feel bad for the guy,but they are only as safe as you make them!
That why I really love our 1971 Bombardier ski dozer, can pull a 16x8 drag and groon 53 mikes rpund trip on half a tank,20 gallons! The PB pulls a 10x20 but uses 50 gallons of diesel for the same trail!
I think some smaller models do exist, but I don't know much. This one is pretty good for a slightly spacious property! Pricey machines in any case, but necessary for major snow. Thank you for watching!!!
Stu says that a snowcat-sized blower wouldn't fit through the narrow tunnel opening on this road, plus he doesn't get to chose the equipment they use.. Thanks a bunch for watching!!
I actually thought this was the tractor video.. Overall a snowcat is needed to move this sheer depth of snow around, it seems. I'm sure a blower could be helpful at times, too.
Stu and I don't currently know, but I'll try to get more info when I can!! I'm also intrigued by it.. Seems like a legit machine. Thanks a bunch for watching!!
Can't understand how Renner F@cked himself up so bad with his? The tracks have so much surface area that they can't really crush you like a wheel would? Presume he got himself tucked under the blade or something? First rule of any machine is don't get out of it if it aint safe to do so, and if in doubt, turn it off.
Nothing like being able to ski right off the front porch! Great video Sam
Indeed!! Thank you so much!! I'll try to keep em coming
Crawling under that with nothing blocking it is a good way to get killed. Especially if it's leaking.
True. Definitely not smart. I will bring it up with Stu! Thanks for watching out!!
😂 sissies need not apply, stay in your mommas basement 😊
Was going to say that but it was the first comment I read so I guess I won’t
You couldn't pay me to crawl under a raised tiller.
Engine on, leaking hydraulic fluid/hose, raised tiller... That's a big 'nah dawg' from me....
We would love to have some of that snow in the eastern US. Great video
Yep, NYer here. I hope you can have some fun regardless. Thanks for watching!!
Stoked!!!! Been waiting for more cat vids.🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks!! There's another one coming very soon. I appreciate the support!!
Love the snowcat content
Thank you! The next week or two will be hard to film much/anything, but I will have more coming asap. Thanks for watching!!
Nice machine be safe,,,
Will do, thank you!!! Stu just bought another PB.. Videos coming soon!

the Honda snowblower would be useful but would decrease the fun factor..😂

Imagine getting run over by that beast. Renner's lucky to be alive. Best wishes to him on a full recovery
Yeah, they're no joke!! Luckily they're usually pretty safe. Thank you for tuning in!!

Fun factor 10, efficiency factor 5, happy PistenBullying everyone😊
Yeah! At least it's twice as efficient as a full-size snowcat. Could be worse. Thank you for watching!!!

Why are you plowing with the blade straight? If you angle the blade you can push through it clear the path and keep moving.
I'll ask Stu about it! Thanks a bunch for watching!!
Carefully backdraging, easy way to break fittings in the hard snow.
I'll mention it to Stu! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
You waited way too long to plow that much snow. But at least you have the equipment to plow it with. Good stuff
Yeah the tractor was broken, and the snowcat did everything possible to keep up, but it was too much snow. Thanks for watching!!
I would love to buy Stew's PB100
He has a few people making moves and it may sell shortly.. If not though, it'll be available. Thanks a bunch for watching!!
I wouldn't be sneaking around that machine like that. That's how that actor got mangled up.
I definitely try to be careful around it, and may keep a little more distance in the future.. Thanks a bunch for watching!!
It's a Piston Bully it's going to leak and leak all the time!🤣
Darn right!! The bombardier is also doing it, haha. Thanks so much for watching!!
How about a homeowner size?
I think some smaller models do exist, but I don't know much. This one is pretty good for a slightly spacious property! Pricey machines in any case, but necessary for major snow. Thank you for watching!!!
Why do you not have a blower? Does it not work in the mountains?
Stu says that a snowcat-sized blower wouldn't fit through the narrow tunnel opening on this road, plus he doesn't get to chose the equipment they use.. Thanks a bunch for watching!!

Is Stu back working at park city?
Nope, he is no longer working there. Thanks so much for watching!!
....... Unless your Jeremy Renner.
Indeed! The details of that incident may remain a mystery.. Thanks for watching!!
Are you the “s” in the “task force” Chanel?
Haha nope, not affiliated. They're basically a separate organization now. Thanks so much for watching!!
What brand and model was that small Japanese snow cat ?
Stu and I don't currently know, but I'll try to get more info when I can!! I'm also intrigued by it.. Seems like a legit machine. Thanks a bunch for watching!!
Thank you I’d appreciate that !

Yeah, with the basic safety features, it seems nearly impossible. Thank you for watching!!!
: )
Thanks for tuning in!!
