Great video! If you are ever out in Colorado you should come do a ride in one of our winch cats at Beaver Creek 👍🏻
No new videos this year yet? Hope all is well
I don’t know if this is meant to be satire or this was made by someone that doesn’t understand how a clutch works. Engaging your clutch doesn’t wear it out, overheating it it’s what wears it out, there is an acceptable amount of slippage because the clutch is designed for it. Overheating the clutch is what will wear it out.
I think it works better if you wet the end of the towel too.
I used to this kinda thing all the time! 😂😂
New deep reduction starter Not the original one , truckers need to step on the clutch when starting to release as much pressure from plate and tran so engine can be freed from resistance during start up and check oil and coolant prior to start .
My 2020 CDF drum Slip the bushing

We have an LMC 1800 with the 3116 Cat engine. ALSO a frame cracking problem. Did you clean up the area with wire brush, grinder, what? Liked the slots you put in the reinforcing plates, AND especially liked your long-handled monkey wrench strap bender
My big cam idles the same way until it warms up. Normal for them . Needle vale I’m guessing get worn over the years
Buying these for my BMW next week 😂🤙🏽
Seems pretty chill. Sounds like they give you guys a good amount of autonomy/freedom to groom the mountain. Plus you got the place to yourselves! Can have a good cup of coffee, put on some tunes, and just have at it.
i did this on a frozen river in canada on new years eve a few years back and it was one of the most satisfying sensations ive ever felt
Very sigma 🗿
‘I rear ended a lady’ yes but how did you damage the car🤷♂️😁
I can't understand why nowadays snowcats are manufactured just in Italy and Germany. Both the USA and Canada have lots of ski-resorts, but not a list of manufacturers of snow groomers!
The boys approve👌🏾
It never ceases to amaze me how dated American trucks are inside - and the visibility is appalling! Sounds great though!
It needs a M Style steering wheel.
I have these in winter tires. Okay in the snow, but in the rain they are terrible. I slide for way too long. Dangerous.
Yes. What is the Curt Mount you purchased?
I got a 1998 Polaris 600 twin high performance and it has been rebuilt and it’s nice and powerful but it sure starts hard I thinks it needs some carb work
What was the partnumber for the hitch?
Guardsmen pass/ Deer Valley
Growing up we had a 2001 ford f150 5.4 V8 that my mom bought brand new, still have it today. About a week after my mother bought it, my father took it to work and brought home a way overweight dual rear wheel tractor (Not a cheap truck brand new). The job was to pull the trailer with the tractor on it up a hill on a highway much like this with no trailer brakes. The truck pulled unbelievably well, brakes were smoking a lot but ya can’t have everything! Lol. 23 years and 211,000 miles later, it’s still as much of a great truck as it was brand new. These tritons have their kinks, but they will never let down.
Bought 4 of the a1's, 4 grip 20 and grip 60's. They are a wicked deal compared to a Michelin or bridgestone, so much value!
So wholesome!
I own a 2014 with 150,000 and I’m not going to lie I’m paranoid about the fuel system, yes a disaster prevention kit will be on it soon to take care of some of the paranoia but this video has me flabbergasted, tell me with that many miles he hasn’t replaced anything to do with the fuel system.
It’s over hyped, just stay on top of your fuel filters. My truck has 7k hours and my brothers has 9k hours, they both get worked hard daily. I’ve never seen one in person go out
Oh and if it’s not deleted DO NOT IDLE IT AFTER WARM UP. I’d suggest deleting that thing right away
Do you know the build date? Was it one of the early Job 1 motors? Awesome 6.7
For sale?
Once she has her coffee, she'll be alright
But man, that is one mean cold start!!!
Either is terrible
Its called fuel heaters
I’m about to buy a 2013 6.7 with 190k miles on it. Always had good maintenance, new turbo, almost everything original, and wasn’t used for towing to often. Little to no rust on the frame and none on the body. Just curious if anyone would think it’s a bad buy and how much $$$ u think it’s worth
Out where I’m at in SoCal that’s a 35-40k truck
Was always scared of burning up the transfer case running 2 low hard like that… guess it’s fine 😂
Yep apparently so, haha. Thanks for watching!!
Planning to grab one, ideally a nismo RS CVT if i like the paddle shifters else the manual, But in France they're super expensive, around 12k for a 145k kms...
Hey there, nice!! I would say you should, since they're so unique and fun. I really appreciate you watching and commenting!!
Do they skid in the rains?
No they were really good in the rain! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
@@samlovescars34 thanks for helping me out - seriously thinking of buying them to save some money
I don't remember where is this at?
Hey there! So it's up in No. Utah, but I can't specify exactly where this community is, sorry! You can pretty much figure it out though, looking at a map, haha. Thanks for watching!!
Camera never does justice in a cat
Yep true, thanks for watching!!!
X pipe?
Unfortunately I only rented the car for 1 day on Turo, haha, and I don't have the info. I think you're right though.. Thanks for watching!!
check your wheel bearings flip your sprockets from driver to passenger side help keep wear even. do your final drives and splitter box Under deck behind engine. change all the fluids and these things will take good care of you. we have 3 400 PBs use for snowmobile trail grooming in northern Vermont.
Sweet, thanks for the tips! Have a good summer over there, and thanks for watching!!
Thanks for taking us with you one last time to clear some snow. Hated he scratched the ram I know that can be hard on the seals. Did you ski much this season? Hope you get to make few trips up there this summer to catch us up with what's going on in the mountains.
Hello! So I basically gave up skiing in 2013, so I don't anymore, but I'm sure someday I'll get back out there! Currently working on the rest of my life still, haha. I may not be able to film much for a bit, but I certainly will when possible! Thanks for watching!!
Nice end of season video. Be cool to see some of those fixes on the tires and stuff. Always enjoy these videos.
Hey there, thank you! Your support is always appreciated. Thanks for watching!!
How many miles does it have now and is still running strong!?
Hello! It is still going! I think around 180k miles. I sold it to another Juke enthusiast who is taking great care of it! Sad to see it go but glad it's still around this area. Best car ever! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!!
I was pulling 5k on my bed with a 2005 f250 5.4 , in a long up hill with traffic, like 7 years ago we give that truck to my wifes dad, we got it back this year, i was feeling great pulling things with it ( i got 2 7.3 powerstroke and a 5.9. Cummins) i like the long bed , i got no cats and a free flow exhaust, sounds great, any way un that hill my truck was dying , every stop it was hard to take off, even my gearbox got hot, i mean i putacelerate 100% and it even move, poor truck, find out the air filter was really dirty, they where using the wrong oil, gas filter dirty too, change it, and the old 5.4 likes to rev high now... Now i wish i got the v10.
Oh man, nice!! Yeah they do like to rev. Thanks a bunch for watching and commenting!! Happy 4th!
Dumb question, 15k + the truck... Or 15k total
15k plus the truck! Thanks a bunch for watching!!
Any update on the truck?
Just checked carfax.. a year ago it was at 785,000 with its second owner! I bet it’s at 800k by now.. so cool! Thanks a bunch for watching and commenting!
I love this video, and I love your car! The damage adds character, so many stories haha. I work at a dealership in Scotland and we got a 2016 RS in, I fell in love with how it drove. It's just so fun, even compared to more expensive cars with more horsepower. I actually bought it! Just waiting on some paintwork getting done, and I'm glad I saw this video because it's nice to see the fun factor doesn't completely fade away after while. All the best man.
Hey thank you so much!! I truly appreciate it! Congrats on getting an RS, epic! I’m sure you’ll love it. I finally needed a larger car after 9 years with my Juke Nismo… enjoy the car and drive safe!! Thanks very much for watching and commenting!
Hello! I want to buy a nissan juke nismo and I would appreciate some good advice from a professional. The car is a juke nismo rs 1.6 dig t, 200 hp, cvt transmission from 2013. Thank you very much!
Hi there! They can be reliable cars… but have some weaknesses. The CVT may give you trouble.. or it may not! Also, the timing chain may fail suddenly, which can cost thousands to repair, and can even destroy the engine if left too long. If you have some extra funds for potential repairs, definitely buy it!!! I appreciate you watching and commenting!!
