Wow 🙂 I've just recently found myself in a wheelchair and been getting rather depressed and struggling to do much but after seeing you doing things like that has given me hope thanks man. love the footage and the scenery it's amazing. I love snowcats I've got an rc one that I love playing with I can only dream of actually being able to go in one they look sooooo much fun to drive but i live in the uk so no chance of me ever going in a real snowcat lol. hope you managed to fix your one and hope you can continue to to have lot's of fun fun fun
Thanks for the comment. Glad I can help even if it’s a very small amount. I get how easy it can be to feel depressed especially in the early days. Wishing you the best 🍻🍻
Peak Hour on the trails @ 5:20 Snowcat gets MVP award that day... should have let some more air out of those u-joints... That roof hatch is a great launch point to launch a drone from, or a flare...
"Until Denny gets stuck and f***s that up" LOL Surprised that the wheeled trucks were getting high centered if the snow was powdery. Must have some packing abilities to hold up the frames/axles
@@BruceCookfmx Yeah just weird to me that the frame/axles couldn't just sink through as well and push through. I've been high centered plenty of time but it was heavy wet snow. I took my stock 2nd gen Ram down an abandoned road when they were expanding the airport here in my town and the snow was up to the bottom of the cab and went right through. Was pretty wild with sugary snow running up over the front of the hood LOL. I got to the end of the road because they dead ended the road and was like, shit now I gotta turn around. I ended up just backing up as it was only like 1/4 mile stretch
@@chriskulpa4056 fresh powder snow it’ll do that for sure! Multiple feet deep. This snow is many layers and happens when it gets really cold. The top is like ice and below is sugar so it’s really hard to push through and the tires have zero to bite on. Crazy how many different kinds of snow there is 🤣
my bro in law and I used to go up to a buddy's cabin in February in nothern Mi and we rented a Durango one year to go up. Had it high centered in the yard on wet snow all 4 wheel spinnin...I got out and left it in drive to look at it. Funniest thing I've ever seen
Gotta love snocats. With our tucker and bombardier we can leave from our property and reach Aberdeen and Buck hills area. Looks like you are having a good time with yours. Hopefully its a ujoint causing you grief and an easy cheap fix.
Trailering is the biggest hassle for sure. We are fortunate here me and my son. We plan on a motocross track and single track course as well. We are surrounded by crown and bought here for that reason. We are at 3800 feet so lots of snow and i use mine as well for driveway when the banks get too big for the suburban to push back. Good luck with the fix you are going to have to do.
The trucks have too small tires and too much space between the axles. The Argo does pretty well because of the very short distance between the axles and the large high flotation paddle tread tires. In other words, the Argo has a larger footprint, per the length of the vehicle, with very little space between the tires, closer to the footprint of the tracked Snow Cat. Why not let the Cat and Argo break the trail and save a lot of wear and tear on the people and the Cat pulling everybody else out?
All comes down to the weight of the vehicle and size of the tire/ability to air down. This is the worst snow conditions of the year and they are generally very capable.
SO fun! It actually doesn’t work very good (in this particular sugar snow) to follow behind instantly, however, a week later we went and drove the tracks I put down on fresh snow with 10 psi in our tires going a good clip. So after it’s had a chance to harden, it’s amazing! Learning as we go 👍🏻 thanks for watching
Oh yah. Loving your vids. Keep them coming
Bad ass!! Looks like a good time!
Punching and punching the like button🤣
🤣🍻
No snow too deep... (for the cat) - beautiful!
Ton off. Fun. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Most enjoyable,thank you for sharing
Lots more to come this winter! Thanks for watching
Drone shots were great. All the fun of mudding and not getting dirty!✌🏻
Thanks!
Awesome thank you for sharing 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Bruce cut those bolts lol!!!
It’s on the list… still 🫣
Another cool video. Awesome
Thanks buddy!
Amazing!! The snowcat looks like a beast. You couldn’t ask for better weather that day.
Slightly more comfortable to ride in than a whistler chair lift 🤠
Not cold at least 🤣
This beast is so fricken awesome man!!
Til Denny got stuck 😂
And RUINED EVERYTHING!!! 🤣👌🏻
Beautiful scenery.

The consistency is just like sugar so tires just dig and don’t push forward. The worst snow!

@@BruceCookfmxAhhh that makes more sense then 😅 I thought it was all one snow session. Would love to wheel like that someday.

This looks like it was a really good time
Hopefully enough snow to do more of it this year!
Surprised none of trucks had wench on them. Would have loved too see one trucks or Jeep have tracks :) Good video :)
You’ll see a truck on tracks in the next video or 2 😁 Stay tuned
All of your friends definitively appreciate you after this
Wait a few days to freeze up and its tracks are like a highway! 👌🏻
Loved this
🍻🤘🏼 Hopefully more to come soon!
Thank you for the 0.5 ppsi info! I was wondering and you provided it. Stuff I wanted to know and nobody says 👍
Pretty incredible out of a +/- 9000 lb machine! 👍🏻

That would be awesome to be able to take it from my property! Moving it is the biggest hassle of the day.

Awesome
Would be cool to see how the drive line works in the snow cat. What is the wheel base and with of the tracks?
I’ll film that while fixing it 👍🏻 tracks are roughly 12’ long and 41” wide each. Whole unit is 9’10” wide
Great video
More snowcat footage coming this winter!
Tires in deep snow is the same as a sub-marine on the moon.
🤣🤣
We do alright
SNOWDAAWG!
Great video! Hopefully the fix is just a u-joint and not a t-case. Denny might still have a spare NP241OR though… 😂
How would you rate all of these vehicles in terms of deep snow capability?
Don't ya'll have Netflix in Canada? 😂 Damn, that's some serious snow.
What’s Netflix? 🤣
Dude you have the coolest job in the world! Are you hiring??? 🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What did they send you out the day before to push down the snow😂. How much does that snowcat cost? Where are y'all at anyway? 11-02-23
Should have with how crappy the snow was! I think I paid 25k for the cat and we’re in British Columbia 🇨🇦
Are you outside of Kelowna?
Chute Lake area?
Exactly. This is near big meadow lake 👍🏻
We almost had to call Bruce and Denny for a rescue! 😂
Almost died out there
Damn near
😆 f'kin Denny...
😂😂😂
Only rig on 37’s. 😂 😞
No vehicle with tires and chains is going to be able to follow me in a snowcat. Spent the last mouth cutting roads so they can.
They do that a lot. Friends don’t let friends drive sprites. ☃️☃️☃️🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣.
have to ask, .5lbs of ground pressure, per square feet?
😊😊✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Sik vid 👍
Thanks!
Why not just get a set of tracks for Marge?
Not nearly as capable as a snowcat and they aren’t very tough
@@BruceCookfmx Agreed, but we should build some tracks anyways. 13 km per hour is just too slow for me.
@@eddie_d4974 it’s also only got low range at the moment so it can do a bit better than that when working properly but yeah lol
хороший тягач только лыжи его не догонят а может и перегонят попробывать бы а я в таких местах за свои 44 года не разу и не был
That just doesn't seem like fun to me.
Was a bad day for tires!
might as well pull a drag while your out there on trails anyway
I’ve been looking for one actually 😅
Even just offsetting tracks out and back works pretty good 🍻
thats fun!😊
they shouldve asked you to break the trail...
it would be enough for them to follow you!

Just a big nope !
What is the point of driving in there and having a Snow Cat pull you out?
The snow was especially bad that day. Usually they can drive most places fairly easily. “Sugar snow” is brutal for anything with tires
