Everyone's making splatty perc clones and Fairfield is like "fuck that" and makes this lmao
Absolutely glorious 😙👌
🔥🔥🔥
2023 Best Pedal for Annoying the Hell out of your Neighbor. lol.
Could you please tell me what tuning you're using? Thanks
I'm pretty much always playing in EAEABE
@@collectoremitter Thank you.
Billy Corgan in a box
Fairfield makes great stuff, this isn't for me tho.
It’s Duster in pedal form
It sounds terrible, I love it
New Fairfield pedal demo’d by my favourite pedal channel. Amazing turn of events today
Reminds me of certain settings on the Smallsound/Bigsound F*ck
This is ridiculous I want every Fairfield pedal but I’m broke
Do what I did and get a whole bunch of credit cards. What could possibly go wrong?
Yeah, use a credit card. You only live once.
@@MortChud 🤔
Thanks, made me think about how it might be interesting to send a simple analogue oscillator inn, and then after RT have another filter, envelopes on the volume and filter to make a beat, and then a bit of reverb.
Probably thinking this way because Shallow Water is doing so much in breathing life into boring synth sounds.
When I 'bump a cable', I confess to admitting my first thought is not 'ooh, here is a wonderful and unpredictable musical universe to explore.'
im a random guy but theres an incredible performance of 'shut the door' by early fugazi in which ian mckaye twiddles with the cable as the drummer puts on a very dubby clinic- it sounds a bit like harshed-up Can in a beautiful way. sounds is sounds baby B)
Wow, it sounds incredible! Very impressed!
It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine.
The chaotic intermodulation and destroyed character pairs up awesome with your playing. Compelling juxtaposition!
2:20 True Widow in a box. I'm sold.
Fairfield is absolutely amazing!!!I’ve seen a demo on f this pedal using some really interesting stuff, it’s so cool!
This thing is somewhere between mathews effects Air Trash and all those sh!tty lofi tapes of ppl describing alien encounters in the 80s. I approve
I thought make noise made the air trash
@@Sadsoft isn’t it Mattoverse?
A lot of people in these comments haven’t heard of Dwarfcraft
Great destroyer ftw
Probably the tenth time I'm watching this. I must have this! Also, i have the perfect song idea for the riff you're playing at 2.00 onwards... Sir, may I steal your riff please?
Ι d love a fuzzless version of this...maybe with analogue sample rate reduction.
It almost seems like a more usable Mantic Flex in a way? I know very different pedals… but anyone know what I mean? Or can confirm lol
Yeah, kinda! It creates the fuzz in a very different way, but that ends up with very similar harsh overtones and noise
Both pedals can be "played" without worrying about what know does what...exploration for the fun of it.
I need this...there I said it❤
Amazing tone ! I also like your dry sound, this rootbeer is based on a marshall 18w ?
I think the true strength of this pedal always seems to be overlooked. It makes everything sound so much better and pretty when you turn it…off. Genius
Tbh I think it sounds beautiful... especially when it's subtly mixed in with the dry signal. Reminds me of 90s slowcore bands like Duster and is a tonic to the constantly-updating sea of ambient looper/delays.
And today was the day.
gorgeous!!!
Hey there, great stuff! Is the core dirt sound without the modulation the same as any of Fairfield’s other pedals? Or is it different enough?
I don't know for sure, but I assume the Dry signal is the same JFET preamp design as in the other Fairfield pedals
Nice
Very nice demo!!
So rad. Well done.
👏👏👏
Thanks so much man!
This sounds a ton like the old SSBS pedals like the pretty years. Granted pretty years can sound like a billion different things but this reminds of how it sounded when you really cooked the tubes in it
Excellent user name
And yes! It sounds similar to a lot of the weirder, more experimental fuzzes out there because of those harsh overtones. And that's always my favorite sound
@@collectoremitter Could this be used to just add white noise like the Generation Loss?
Sounded best switched off
Fairfield circuitry Hass to be trolling us just to see if anybody will buy this thing because it sucks
Thats your opinion for the type of music you make.
I bet it sounds amazing as kind of a fuzz/broken preamp or just subtle touch on your amps driven sound like a booster.
I love my Fairfield SHALLOW WATER. So I'm not saying this out of dislike for the company. But guys I can get this sound by using an old guitar cable that's begun to short out. Or an old worn out volume knob pot. I just have to have someone wiggle the cable or knob while I'm playing. It's probably about $300 cheaper also. You're welcome.
Fairfield. I love you guys.
Thats why I'm letting you know
that you can do better than this.
No hate.
Could be incredible for industrial/noise musicians.
I tested one today it was brutal I thought I was blowing out the bass man speaker.I need this pedal in my life.🤖🎛️📼
