The glitch takes a little getting used to, but this is actually a distortion pedal that may better suited for SS than tube amplification (😲). What makes tubes more appealing to many people certainly doesn't matter with this thing, that's for sure.
Hi! I’m definitely purchasing one of these but I have a question, would you say I need some sort of compression/limiter with it so I don’t blow up my amp or my hearing?
@@mattlowerymusic Hey thanks! I just picked up a Meet Maud yesterday, that has a couple compressors on it and a old MXR eq will that do the trick or do you mean more of a studio compression?
I've actually tried this and it's PHAAAT. It's got such a wonderfully unforgiving, full of character, juicy quality to it. Drums / Perc through just the drived dry signal was great, but you get some unique dirty magic once you find the sweet spot of Tune, Shift and Drive and the wet knob dialled in. Of course it's mono and a lot of sub is lost, but it's surprising how well it performs, especially with a sprinkling of EQ after the pedal. I'd love to get a second to make it a stereo pair!
A word of caution to all of you guitarists using digital modelers: YMMV, but be careful with you UAFX preamp pedals and the likes, because this thing has enough drive on tap to overload their inputs easily. Tested with a Dream 65 ;) Using any analog preamps into a cab loader (in my case the UAFX Ox Stomp) I don't get this problem.
Dude Incredible and Roger That is the most amazingly destructive combo I have heard in a long time! Refreshingly dangerous!
Yessss
This is a tremendously helpful review. Thank you for providing something so extensive and thoughtfully put together.

I really dig the percussive bit towards the end, but am not really feeling the longer sustained sounds. Definitely a noisemakers dream. Very cool!
Let's go he's back
That pedal hates everything. I love it.
Totes. It just rips.
So cool
Thank you for considering loud volume an health issue! Very nice review of this wild beast!
Of course! Thanks for watching
Disgusting
Awesome !

I recommend pairing it with a compressor and a filter or EQ so you can sculpt to your liking!

C'mon answer him!
I could do that for days. That is wonkadoodle.
Wonkadoodle to the max
Great view! Do you know if it can it keep stereo signals if using TRS cables with it? Thanks!
Nope! It’s mono in, mono out. I kind of want two for that reason.
Did you try it with percussion/drums?
I haven’t yet, but that’s a great idea

It's a modem? Can I use AOL again?!
I mean it’s worth a shot!
Can it be plugged into a DAW?
No
Actually yes.
daw -> interface line out -> reamp box -> roger that -> interface inst. in -> daw
@@countenanceclear1191 IOW, no; with all that interfacing and reamp-ing your doing, you could hook up a 1990's TV set into a DAW.
