Sequencing the Moog Mother-32 with a Eurorack Sequencer using the Pico MScale from Erica Synths
Переглядів 11 тис.2 роки тому
Integrating your Moog Mother-32 into your eurorack setup can be a little frustrating because the v/oct input on the Mother-32 uses a range of -5v- 5v instead of the standard 0v-10v that most other eurorack modules use. Thankfully Erica Synths makes the Pico MScale module that can make converting those voltages as easy as connecting a couple of wires. This video will show you how to sequence you...
One Trick with Sample Drum from Erica Synths
Переглядів 18 тис.2 роки тому
The Sample Drum is a eurorack sampler module by Erica Synths. This video will show you how to add some life to your loops by using a random slice order and a trigger to always return the loop back to the start. cicadasound.ca/products/sample-drum Website: cicadasound.ca Instagram: cicadasoundinc #eurorack #ericasynths #sampledrum #cicadasound
Great jam
Insane making the Differenz
Hey, thanks for the video. I've heard that Meraki doesn't have enough headroom for hot pickups. I wonder what's your experience with it going through synths and stuff? ANy lack of headroom issue? Cheers
inspiring roll out🙂
Interesting feel. We're loving our Labyrinth. It's a dream with 2 DFAMs.🖖Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful dry tone! What is the dry setup?
Too short! That Sealegs in black is beautiful.
We share the same taste! I have both VONGON's as well and they are great sounding!
yesss 👯👯👯
I love it, man! I love it! I also bought intellijel seabeads a few months ago and I love it!
Sounds awesome! Whats in your 1u row?
Thanks! An Intellijel Midi 1U, Duatt 1U, and Stereo Line out, and then an Instruo Ochd sideways in a 321 3U to 1U adapter.
@@cicadasoundinc thanks!
👾
Black Sealegs panel?
Dusty Clouds panel, they're on Reverb 😊
Yep, it's the Dusty Clouds panel. We sell them at Cicada too. cicadasound.ca/products/sealegs-black-panel
@@cicadasoundinc didn't know! I'm really sorry! 😅
@@marcozvuk All good! Happy you recognized them. They are great panels.
Great video! Very cool application of the conflict of interest. Just picked one up!
By far the best demo on this pedal, thank you for NOT starting the video with 3 pedals going into it and explaining and showing what it does so clearly
Really great video.
RAD!
it looks like your plugging gate out on black sequencer to gate out on mother 32. on mother 32 the patch bay shows "outs" circled in white. am i missing something? thanks
How did you set up the mother to receive cv ?
90% of the video is so tame. Guitarists always ruin these sorts of experimental pedals with the need to hear their guitars. Just make some fucking noise.
Any idea where the drum loop is from? Would love to know.
I feel like they missed the boat. Why is there no expression jack for the feedback? Or better yet, an expression jack that can be assigned with a switch to any of the three knobs? Very cool toy, though. I like that you can make the delay oscillate with the Hors d'Oeuvre's feedback knob.
I had my Hors D'Oeuvre modified to take an expression pedal which controls the feedback control. It is now an amazing feedback / chaos machine on my pedal board, where I'm not required to bend down to twiddle the feedback knob.
Did Fairfield do that for you? Shman if they'd offer exp/cv control of some of these variables they'd be unbeatable in each offering
@@Spuzzmacher Nope, had it modified. Would be cool if it was included though.
Wow that's genius! Even for recording, that's got to be fun
@@lorendavie1526 Can you tell me who modified it? I would like to do the same.
after 5:45 Im getting serious Volta vibes
This would be so helpful to actual drummers looking to improve their improv fill skills
what patch cables are those?
EBS deluxe flat patch cables
Now… can you control the feed knob with an expression pedal??
dang!
Feels like eurorack with pedals. Very cool
Do you like it better before or after the delay?
I like it after
U sold me
@@MochaLatteMilkshake nice
Even the Hors d’Oeuvre by itself, with nothing in its loop and at manageable settings, can be a great overdrive/distortion/fuzz pedal.
Nice
your life is a waste
YAWN.. also sounds horrible
Love the ending
Wow 😮 cool
This is so beautiful!
nice!
Excellent video!! 👏👏
could an attenuator like the Lapsus Os be used to accomplish the same -5volts or +5 volts?
Yep, for sure. As long as the attenuator can adjust offset like the Lapsus Os, Maths, or Shades, you can dial it in to accomplish the same thing as the mScale.
Simple, but then again the most brilliant solutions always are. <3
Thanks!
this is very useful thanks
