Hi Richard, I was shocked to hear of your heart surgery! Praying for a full recovery for you. I know that was a very trying time for you both. You go through these trials for a reason. Last February I had a cardiac arrest and a double by pass, I almost didn't survive, so my heart goes out to you both. The Lord bless you as you recover.

Get well soon, Richard! 😎 The Volkswagen wagon is called a Squareback and my dad has one that he's restoring. It was bought new by my grandfather back in 1970. He's currently getting it painted, but it runs and drives beautifully. Very cool junkyard!! Thanks for sharing, Richard and Christina!

Speedy recovery
It's sad knowing that many of these vehicles will never see the road again~ There was a man here in Bristol Virginia where I live who had well over 200 classic vehicles on a plot of land, and the city confiscated and crushed them after he died~ I was so sad, because they had been there most of my life, and they all got destroyed for no reason~ I hope they got your heart back in good shape, Richard!~ You're a good man~

I look at all these wonderful old cars and trucks and see how beat up thrashed and rusted so many of them are now, and to think that at one time all of them were sitting at a dealership all shiny and new just waiting for someone to come along, buy them, and take them home.

Glad you are doing well after surgery. Had mine 3.5 years ago. I feel better and am doing well. Still going to cardiac rehab 3 times a week. They keep a close eye on me while I exercise. Enjoyed your tour of the old junkyard. Thanks for sharing.

they told me that as well, I went home from the hospital after they repaired a shunt on my heart and I installed a central ac unit and wished I had not, lol. Take care and best to you..

17: 48 this truck is very collectable in Alaska.
My late brother lived up there & he was always hunting these rear corner windowed pickups.
He restored them & flipped them.
He never got rich in the 80s & 90s cause he often gave stuff away too beggers. Soft big heart & always in some kind of debt.
Incredible mechanic though. Just flawed. I miss him.😢

great video y'all lots of vintage cars and trucks , there was one car that really caught my eye is that 1965 buick 4 door that was a wildcat there ain't many of those around buick is a real good car thank you for sharing you're tour of the vintage car and truck resting yard

Love the old straight 8 Buicks, my father had a 1950 Roadmaster with the straight 8 when I was young.

My wife's uncle had a Merc Breezeway and was Traveling on the interstate when a car come along side honking and pointing. He happened to look in the rearview mirror and saw his two boys sitting out of the rear window with their legs holding them by the back seat back!
