I'm not to sure but if the illegal street vendor is on private property, can they not be charged with Trespass and arrested? Under the terms of tress pass is that they are within 3 feet of a private restaurant or establishment. Meaning they can be even charged if on a driveway, street, a parking lot or even on the sidewalk. Blocking a sidewalk and forcing people to walk into the street with on coming cars is a hazard and can put the illegal vendors in prison/jail for about a week or longer depending on the charges. And as you can see, I do not think a single one of these illegal vendors can afford a lawyer anyway. So if an illegal vendor is on a private parking lot and not permited or NEVER got permission to go there, then the owner has the right to call the police and charge the illegal vendors with tresspassing. Or let the health department and the police department take away their carts. They can't do business if they don't have their items. Charge them with like a health violation. The non legal street vendors are hurting restaurants who pay rent. The sidewalks are for people to walk on they are not for street vendors who pay no rent.
Clark County Commissioners don't look at the unsanitized food sold by the street vendors. Dust produced by traffic goes into the food. What is in the dust poop, vomit, chemicals, and other things in the form of dust? The restaurants lacked inspectors checking on them. What about the street vendors? I saw on the TV cutting fruit without sanitary conditions and refrigeration. Street vendors should be banned in the strip, schools, fast food establishments, outside food stores. The Clark County Commissioners want to increase the healthcare insurance that is already overpriced by Las Vegas residents and this is a bad practice permitting street vendors. The street vendors should move to California. Clark county commissioners should have a mall and refrigerators, bathrooms and sinks to wash the products and utensils inside of the environment to sell food, and not in the street. Not in Las Vegas streets.
I guess California doesn't need for them to pay the taxes like others do. Come here illegally, start an illegal business, no problem. I bet if I set up a food table that my arse would be shut down in less than an hour and fined.
Hey are these the same businesses that have been complaining about over regulation in ca? Fight fire with fire......lower your prices and set up street kitchens along side th estreet vendors if you have to! People like street food!
Cutting fruit without sanitary conditions like running water to wash the knife after each use. They should not have knives in public streets in the first place.

Nothing so good as a delicious street food seasoned with E Coli, salmonella that gives you food poisoning, a lot of vomit and diarrhea. If the vendor has a STD, or hepatitis, cannot wash his/her hands, your street food will taste even better. YUMMY! 😃 Go for it!
They're all over the Bay area as well. They even set up on Pier 39 as well as local residents! They move in with NO RESPECT for local business owners and set up shop in front of their business.
While I applaud initiative, there is a reason that there are health standards in the U.S. when it comes to vendors. Legitimate food vendors pay a lot of money for permits, are safe serve certified, pay for health inspections and they follow the rules. Illegal food vendor ships shouldn't be rewarded for not following the rules, the problem with illegal food vendors is that there is no regulation on the kitchens that are preparing the food for sale to the public. Having worked in professional kitchens as a cook, I can tell you how easy it is for food borne illnesses to inhabit food. I worked as a cook in one cafeteria, where they had an exchange student from a middle eastern foreign country working. He was working the grill, he stuck his ungloved hand into a refrigerated raw meat drawer and pulled out a bloody burger, then stuck it on the grill to cook. In the next instant, he took his bloody ungloved hand and stuck it into the bun steamer and pulled out a bun. He took the bun that had the raw blood on it which his bloody hand had been handling. He put the cooked burger on the contaminated bun and tried to serve it to the public. I managed to remove the contaminated burger before it was too late and gave the customer a clean burger and bun. The middle eastern foreign exchange student became verbally abusive when he was asked to step down from his position on the grill, because we couldn't have him serving contaminated food to the public. Illegal food vendors aren't safe serve trained, therefore they follow their own food handling procedures. Procedures that aren't safe serve approved and can be dangerous to people consuming their food. Save a life, please don't buy from illegal food vendors.
All these vendors need to be removed this isn't a third world country!! This is America and we have laws here if they are unhappy they can go back where they came from!!!, it's simple you have to have a driver's license to drive and car insurance they think their above the laws Wrong!!!!
They should not be selling food if they do not have a business license YUK ---- they do not have food inspections and food handling inspections who knows what you're eating or where are their hands were before they were touching your food
I say screw those restaurants. They charge an arm and a leg and sometimes more. Their prices are unreasonable. I think as long as the food vendors get the proper training and get what they need legally I see nothing wrong with screwing over these restaurants.
Yeah I'd rather not have car exhaust and grit from being right next to the freeway(disgusting) no matter the low price and EVERYTHING in S.B. is next to the freeway pretty much.
Health concerns/ unpermitted food vendor sales? Poor personal hygiene No handwashing on site Don’t know where the food was purchased Food is not kept hot and left out all day Food may be prepared in a dirty home kitchen, in the garage, in a backyard, or outside Food stored or prepared on the floor and on unclean surfaces No food safety training to people who handle the food Food is undercooked No refrigerators to keep food cold Unsafe cooking equipment No restrooms Sick employees preparing food Chopping food using dirty knives or cutting board Insects, mice or rats in the home
Damn all those carts in one van?😂 There's definitely one dude controlling everything and making bank. Look at all the flower vendors, fruit vendors, taco stands. Each has the same setup, same product and same system and they all popped up one after the other. They'll continue to duplicate too but oh well its a cold world out here and people need to feed their families.
Sounds kind of like those who jump the river and come into the country illegally vs going through the process as required to be here legally .............
I support the local ones. If they get the permit i see nothing wrong with them working hard. City can go check on them to make sure everything is clean

easy as pay your fees. And get the handwashing stations.
Get those criminals out!
U can go back to Europe invader
Hi!!! Don’t u have a criminal record???❤❤❤❤
United States of Mexico 😂
The non legal street vendors are hurting restaurants who pay rent. The sidewalks are for people to walk on they are not for street vendors who pay no rent.
nobody walks in America lol
erm actually
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SLEEPY JOE BRANDIN LETS MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS AND TERRORISTS INTO OUR COUNTRY
They should not even have sharp kitchen knives in the public in the first place.
Lol if this was some other people, of American citizenship, the police would be called and they’d never sell again
No permit, Confiscate the equipment, then it will stop.
I am thinking of opening a hotdog stand at the bus stop.. 😂😂😂
Why not on the bus - tap into that busy commuter market - Stop n Go grub lol
Third World Entrenchment 🎉
If it's so good get LICENSED AND PERMITS
About 10 of them in my town, and business is rockin! Unfortunately for the Mexican restaurants in the area, not so much!
I guess California doesn't need for them to pay the taxes like others do. Come here illegally, start an illegal business, no problem. I bet if I set up a food table that my arse would be shut down in less than an hour and fined.
Restaurant and food truck owners greased the politicians but deal turned sour when newcomers showed up from southern border: Thanks Uncle Joe!
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SLEEPY JOE BRANDIN LETS MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS AND TERRORISTS INTO OUR COUNTRY
Wow. This is the same thing happening in San Diego. KUSI news did a video on this.
JESUS HELP AMERICA, CALIFORNIA IS TOO FAR GONE.🙏🇺🇸
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” “Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.” you might wanna keep reading the bible bro 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Jesús is NOT helping America what so ever ur physically and mentally not ok
They should not give them permits send them back enough
This happen when jobs dont pay enough so they do crime i rather have this then actually stealing
Smart!!! get permitted pay taxes
Yeah like trump University
Who knew Illegality breeds even more illegality? 🤷♂😂😂😂🤦♂️
and they don't pay tax. be fair!
Same problem in Minneapolis, illegal vendors all over the place so instead of complaining like I do I don't buy the daily permits anymore
EITHER COMPLY WITH THE PERMITS AND LICENSES REQUIRED, OR SHUT THEM DOWN.
Don’t eat anything with meat and you’ll be fine😂😂😂
I know right, you never really the name of who or what you might be eating.
i dont buy from them
Yes, but a lot of stupid people love hot dogs
Who cares
Nothing so good as a delicious street
food seasoned with E Coli, salmonella that gives you food poisoning, a lot of vomit and diarrhea. If the vendor has a STD, or hepatitis, cannot wash his/her hands, your street food will taste even better. YUMMY! 😃 Go for it!
😂
Make better food. Street vendors have the best food and customer service
They're all over the Bay area as well. They even set up on Pier 39 as well as local residents! They move in with NO RESPECT for local business owners and set up shop in front of their business.
If they impound their equipment this will stop
Don't to business with them. It's a choice to do business with an individual not an obligation
Se tenía q decir..bien dicho!!!!..focos de enfermedades!!!!
Invaders always show initiative.
Food safety
Get sick
Who’s to blame.
They should be fined
All these vendors need to be removed this isn't a third world country!! This is America and we have laws here if they are unhappy they can go back where they came from!!!, it's simple you have to have a driver's license to drive and car insurance they think their above the laws Wrong!!!!
why is bro d riding America 💀🙏🙏
Omg the meat riding is crazy
San Diego has the same problem. And they also say they from Los Angeles? Mmm strange . Just wondering
I thought California is trying to do a way with propane gas
If they have no permit then I understand they should not do it but if they don't get permit ban them I agree
I love Mexican food but I don’t support vendors due to food could be contaminated and very grease. How do I know they wash their hands
the food is cooked which kills all the bacteria ... and also if you look at the video all the food vendors have gloves on at 1:44 ...
The hell with the Illegal street vendors get a permit This is what's going to get worse illegal's making this country a third world
They should all be licensed and heavily regulated if allowed to exist at all.
Not sure what the issue is. No permit,.... no cooked food sales. Done.
Only problem is that the food is too good! Too cheap! And Karen type ppl Hating On Flavor vs Blandness
Capitalism made me a street vendor. Isn’t what these Santa Barbara folks like? Capitalism?
You get what you vote for! Why pay for a permit!
This is ridiculous. These are not business owners.
It's gross and not fair to businesses who follow the rules and regulations.
They should not be selling food if they do not have a business license YUK ---- they do not have food inspections and food handling inspections who knows what you're eating or where are their hands were before they were touching your food
I say screw those restaurants. They charge an arm and a leg and sometimes more. Their prices are unreasonable. I think as long as the food vendors get the proper training and get what they need legally I see nothing wrong with screwing over these restaurants.
they dont have permits shut them down they do that in my city if they get caught again its a $1000 fine and higher we dont see vendors anymore
Yeah I'd rather not have car exhaust and grit from being right next to the freeway(disgusting) no matter the low price and EVERYTHING in S.B. is next to the freeway pretty much.
Health concerns/ unpermitted food vendor sales?
Poor personal hygiene
No handwashing on site
Don’t know where the food was purchased
Food is not kept hot and left out all day
Food may be prepared in a dirty home kitchen, in the garage, in a backyard, or outside
Food stored or prepared on the floor and on unclean surfaces
No food safety training to people who handle the food
Food is undercooked
No refrigerators to keep food cold
Unsafe cooking equipment
No restrooms
Sick employees preparing food
Chopping food using dirty knives or cutting board
Insects, mice or rats in the home
This is ridiculous!
Sounds kind of like those who jump the river and come into the country illegally vs going through the process as
required to be here legally .............
I support the local ones. If they get the permit i see nothing wrong with them working hard. City can go check on them to make sure everything is clean
No one is saying this but are they talking about that good illegal immigrants doing this or just people that live there doing it illegally
