I was in High School when this song was released...great song then and now.
Me too...the good ol' days! :)
Me too awesome time!!👍 I was in high school when this video was made, I was in high school when the physical album came out, this song was from the "totally hot" album I believe, which came out when I was in junior high but I was still already a fan
@@tigre7739 It really was! :)
I was a senior in high school when this song was brand new.
@@michaelfleming40 me too.. & I was a also a Fleming back then too before I got married...
My heart is truly saddened by the passing of Olivia Newton-John. I grew up on her music. After I heard she passed, I've been listening to her music and videos. I remember when Grease came out in '78, I watched it 5 days in a row. I will never get tired of the Grease soundtrack along with her other music. It's more important even now. RIP Olivia. You will be truly missed
this song kicks ass
Awesome singer
Justamente estaba escuchando esta canción mientras cortaba leña , jamás pensé que había muerto está gran cantante 🤦🏻♂️ la música está de luto hoy 😭
Keyboard guy is probably the coolest weird guy ever
That's John Farrar, Olivia Newton John's producer and right hand man. He's the father of Sam Farrar, who is one of Maroon 5's band members.
I will never forget "YOU" so many memories growing up! Dancing around the house, R.I.P. 🥺❤️🎶❤️🎵
Hello, Lorrie sweetie 💋.how are you ?

Just look at her, she is the epitome of female beauty. The dress is perfect.
Those high notes... that keyboardist 😆🙊..the basslines..the riffs/hooks...Rip ONJ.. You've light up the music scene...salute!👏👏
Yes, my favorite part of this song is when she and the backup girls hit the highnotes. Just amazing !
amen! and I give a harrumph for “the keyboardist” mention! his “relationship” with his keyboard seems a mirror reflection of the love/hate flow of this song😍😾
@@drivermxpedite3165the funny thing is that the backup girls are Olivia cause she sings her own background vocals to add that mystic charm to her music
Those tight, bright harmonies. And without autotune. Amazing performance and production.
And, damn, she's fine.
2021 listening to this music classic and this spectacular voice!
Still in 2022. Classy!
2:54 when you want to dance but you're stuck playing keyboard. 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
It's still hard to believe that she's no longer with us. You can't help watch these videos without a little sadness. She's been one of my all time favorite artists. LOVE you Ms Olivia Newton-John!
One of the most talented female singers of our time. Olivia you will be truly missed! Rest In Peace 🙏
Hi Mary hope you’re okay?
She was English
Olivia Newton-John was a mega star with a stunning voice and beautiful personality. We all miss her very much.
The high chorus is phenomenal and Olivia's voice is sublime. Shout out to the backing Vocals too.
Blondie is one of them

The keyboard guy is hilarious.
Right?!
He's coked up
God speed Olivia! Through all of your health woes you've remained as classy as ever...hope you're healing beautiful lady!!
Not many with a better voice.
RIP Olivia. I'm bummed.
She was an absolute doll who deserved more from life. She will be missed.
Deserved more?? She had everything lol
@@ACDZ123 I’m not even going to dignify that with a comment
@frankied6440 she was a good person I believe as well. But that's pathetic to say she deserved more. Are you insane? There's people in this world who were given nothing in life. Shame on you
@@ACDZ123you got me. I am insane. Don’t tell my wife

My BIGGEST childhood crush ❤!!!
One of my all time favorites by Olivia.
You could say that this is a Totally Hot song 🎵! (That's the name of the album that this song is off of.)
My first crush...1977, i was 10. Dad stationed in Athens and he'd play ONJ songs while we played bumper pool. Good times and miss ny Dad. RIP Dad and Olivia.
This song touches my heart and soul at so many levels!! RIP Olivia!😁❤️❤️🙏🙏
The most beautiful woman with the most beautiful voice. Miss you so much ❤
I grew up loving her music back in the seventies. She had one of the most beautiful voices ever and she was stunningly gorgeous. Beautiful blonde with the incredible voice. RIP THE LATE GREAT OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN. YOU WILL BE MISSED. YOU WERE ONE OF THE GREATS. 😢😭
Which one was your favorite from the 1970’s? My favorites were Please Mr. Please and Have You Never Been Mellow.
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face..
Inolvidable, está canción en aquellos años de estudiante. DESCANSE EN PAZ. Divertidas película Vaselina, Xanadú. Gracias por estar en mi vida 🙏

No auto-tune back then. Olivia was a gem.
Classic beauty! Seductive without being a tramp like 90% of female artists these days.
RIP Olivia 😓❤ Your angelic voice will live on. Fan since the 70's.
ME TO , She was way more pop in the 70s
Me to She was VERY POP In the 70s Had 10 number 1 hits
I feel she's very underated ..I know she's had lots of hits .but she's never named as one of the greatest pop stars of all time .she should be ....
Yeah...but that's people's fault because she is literally one of the best selling female artists of all time and paved the way for a lot of singers.
Can't beat the Old-Skool for Real, Soulful Music!!!!
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face..😊😉
If you were a boy in the 70’s…
This was the most beautifully talented woman ever.
Movies.
Music.
Beauty.
For me… the best.🥰
I've been a musician, and a music fan for over half a century. I've seen a lot of artists and music come and go. That is, still today, one of the coolest, sexiest, best sounding, most understated, casual but cool, vocal ear candy, music clips I've ever seen....and it's lip synched. She was an angel.
Literally the soundtrack of my youth. I have adored her since I was 8 years old. She left an indelible mark. RIP... you will be loved and missed forever. ❤️
Hello, 🤗 Beautiful Lady 🌹..how are you ?
Olivia newton has class . I sure miss her
Solid Gold,. Never to be repeated.
One of the most beautiful faces I've ever seen.
I love that the video shows the backup singers, they did a great job during the chorus
Olivia did all of the vocals on this song. Everyone is lip synching in this video and the background singers are lip synching to ONJ's vocals.😀
One of the ladies is Blondie
At the peak of her beauty on (IMO) her finest single. Every inflection throughout is just perfect.
Spot on.
Absolutely.
She's the goat for me. When it was announced that she'd passed, I had to pull over and sob. I love you now and forever ❤️.
Una pena que no estes entre nosotros 😪😪, pero siempres estaras en nuestros corazones,,Olivia Newton
Decades ago but still a class act !!
@Olivia Newton John I was shocked you replied. It's wonderful you are reading the comments.

Before Taylor Swift, there was Olivia. May she rest in peace.
Olivia was beautiful inside and out. They don't compare
Olivia posses class and a genuine sexy presence, i have 4 walls with hundreds of rock stars in my man cave. Olivia is among them.
@@IanReason you dammm right about that there's absolutely no comparison
I am biased here, because im 55 and Olivia was my first crush! But I agree, Swift just lacks the class.@@IanReason

Who loves the antics of the keyboard player at the beginning and 3 times in a row starting at 1:27

What a voice what a performer what a band
The band was spectacular too. Olivia knew who to back her up.
