I remember this song as part of my childhood growing up in the late 70s. My mom used to have the Saturday Night Fever LP and she used to play it A LOT. I remember her playing this song and listening to it now in my mid 40s, is just plain nostalgic. It really is a nice song...love the chorus.

I was turning 18 when Saturday Night Fever came out. I'm not the type to live in the past, but the music and some of the movies that came out back then were really good (Rocky, Star Wars, Aliens, etc.). I miss my friends from that time, and the hope we all had for the future.

en 1977 solo tenía 13 años! esta canción así como la banda Sonora de "Fiebre del sábado por la noche" no paraba de escucharla, tenía mi disco de vinilo ( aún lo tengo) fue sencillamente un antes y después. años muy hermosos y emocionantes, no conocía la disco, era muy chico para poder salir a bailar , pero cuantas ganas de saber como era todo eso! movió a toda una generación, esto es pura historia. ME ALEGRO MUCHO DE HABER VIVIDO LOS 70's y los 80's . no lo cambiaría por nada.

Oh beautiful sweet memories, there i was in the 70s as a little girl thinking that i never get old & things would never change, watching Charlie's Angels, the Dukes of Hazard & collecting Tiger Beat magazines without a care in the world, fast forward to 2020 & 😭 wish for a time machine, the simple life is just so much enjoyable, were now living in Twilight Zone.
