"Liar" from Korn's "See You on the Other Side" album (2005).
Also used the original isolated bass track for this cover so it's again close to 100% correct. The chorus is nothing but slides, Fieldy doesn't play a lot of notes during the bridge and he also isn't playing at multiple moments during the first verse. Seems like he was trying to be more of a bassist on this album cause his tone and style of playing are quite similar to what I heard on Coming Undone. Just a bassy tone, no slapping, nothing.
Some important information that nobody is going to read.
Tuning: A-D-G-C-F
Artist: Korn
Bassist: Fieldy
Album: See You on the Other Side (2005)
Song: LIAR
Bass: Warwick GPS Corvette 5A Ash
Korn is a heavy band, and with that comes very cool and heavy bass! Cheers Leo!
Most definitely!
@@LeoBassCovers2 Cheers!
One of their best songs from see you on the otherside. Great cover!
Thank you!
I keep getting reminded of how great Korn is from your vids... I'm not complaining. Cheers!
Hey!! I was listening to this song yesterday and smiling at the same time, thinking how cool it would be to play it for bass practice. Thanks man you rock as always!!! Waiting for another 3hrs Livestream!!! 🎸🤟💜🇦🇷
Thank you very much!! I hope I can do another livestream soon! :)
excellent yet again dude
Thanks again!
One of my favourite songs off of See You On The Other Side. Great cover 🤘
COOL, I LOVE IT!!
Thank you!!
love it.
Thank you!
YOU SHOULD PLAY JROCK LIKE DIR EN GREY OR NIGHTMARE LEO 🙏
Can you play Swallow by Korn?
Can you do a run through of Loathe's White hot?
Creo que Fieldy no quiso hacer ese álbum
Can this be played on a 4 string bass?
I suppose it can be, if you don't mind playing it an octave higher
how you get that tone?
Depends on which part you're talking about. All my effects are digital so I can't suggest a pedal. Lots of fuzz for the choruses, phaser/flanger will do the trick for the rest, along with keeping it on the bridge pickup
@@LeoBassCovers2 so when you're playing you're using like a "normal" bass sound and then add this all effects in the mix? sorry for dumb questions, I'm new here
No problem! I don't add the effects later no. I build my tones, starting with that "normal sound". Once that sounds alright, i move on to the effects and eventually record with all the effects switched on.
