Head and Munky are solely responsible for the birth of my love for heavy, alternative music. Their ambient, atmospheric style with fusions of Hip-Hop, Funk..backed by David’s head nodding groove? they’ve really helped me enjoy music and step out of my comfort zone into a genre I might have not discovered and delved into otherwise.

There's so many riffs. Old riff; Shoots and Ladders breakdown. New stuff: Rotting in Vain's main riff (and breakdown). Also Dead bodies everywhere. And much much more.
Great video! Love Korn. One of the best to do it. I also love the way you keep cutting Munk and Head into the video and their hand and facial expressions 😂👏. Brilliant.
For me all the best riffs are in old's album (right now, here to stay, did my time, y'a'll want a single, blind, got the life, clown, ...) But nice video instead 🤘✨
@@davids.6693 Nah Lost in The Grandeur and Insane are really fucking heavy. I would've put Rotting In Vain before Here To Stay as well. But it is a hard fucking riff.
Korn in my heart. Thank you for this video. Of course, the sound of the guitar is slightly different from the previous video of "top10 riffs", but this doesn't this video worse
I've never had an issue with Korn's riffs as much as their lyrics. As they went on Jonathan really seemed to run out of ideas on what to sing about or at least do so in a catchy way.
i’m inclined to agree. He’s quite literally been repeating himself in both word choice AND meaning/message for many years. “Can’t get away, gotta get away.” “it’s tearing me apart. the ripping, the hating.”
Korn is the reason I pick up the guitar and yes my first guitar was a 7 string my first guitar lesson I took my guitar out and my teacher did a double take and was like wtf is that a 7 string and he asked if he could play 5 min later the lesson started lol
I personally find most of Korn extremely boring, however the contributions of Korn to heavy music cannot be understated. 7 string (and 8 string) guitars would not be where they are without Munky and Head.
@@КонстантинНовиков-х9к ну они и начинали как гаражная группа, нашли поклонников в таком стиле, зачем им что-то менять? пипол не "хавает", пипол за такие риффы их и полюбили
Head and Munky are underrated riff masters.
Nice profile pic!
Yeah playing 2 notes is super underrated
@@orenom6704 a riff doesn't need a bazillion notes to be great
@@orenom6704 Well they've created a lot of great riffs with just 2 notes.
Well duh!

My favorite riff of their
Killer riff, shame i can't even listen to the song
The best riff of any rock or metal band ever imo, it's so fucking good
This is what I call content worth waiting for
I got awau from these guys when Head left , got into thrash, death metal, meshuggah but these two are still a big influence on how I'll play a guitar
These boys kinda remind me of Buffco and Beaver.
Munky and Head are who made me a fan of Korn way back in highschool.
Amazing editing, amazing riffs, amazing guitarist. A+
That duo is a huge influence on me playing guitar, that thunderous tone with the whammy is pure genius, years ahead of its time!

wow you finally got a seven string! happy new guitar day!

too many heavy riffs for 11

I love this so much! Awesome video dude!
Thank You,I really love Korn!
I’m surprised here to stay wasn’t on there.
Don’t discount how important DAVID SILVERIA was to making those early riffs so brutal
Very cool video. Your content is worth waiting for!
Glad you think so! Much appreciated!

where is Idid My Time!! The intro Riff is HHHEEEEEEEEEEAAAVVVYY

Don't talk about Dave like that
@@ryanscottwright ?
Korn>Terry Chaivo.
Right Now, Beat It Upright, and Oildale are pretty good heavy ones, too 🤘
Lost In The Grandeur fricken slaps.
Ball tongue is one of the best korn song openings period
Qué bueno! 👌
It's On! has always been my favourite to play.
Played freak on the leash bridge w/o peds.
nice riffs
How is the guitar tuned?
Drop A.
@@IDONTEXIST_6 So A for 6th string and tune all the others to match up like standard tuning ending with first string A?
@@IDONTEXIST_6 I looked it up. It seems to be ADGCFAD
It’s A standard, so imagine D standard on a 6 string but then the lowest string above is A
Also the last string tuned to D is a 7th string so for everyone else with a 6 string guitar it's ADGCFA
Boom
The clown breakdown
❤️❤️❤️❤️
What about Oildale?
as a bassist, i can hear the bass so clear like deym
what kind of formation, how to set up a guitar like that? Please help me!

Can’t forget Here to Stay…Beg For Me…Cold…God God… so many
Ball tongue вообще наверное самый качевый риф у корн
Sean Olson.. for me is heaviest riff
So you don’t have a pitch pedal
Where is “Blind”?
Ball Toungue or My Gift To You gotta be no.1 lol correct my spelling
