Great comparison! Still loving my 23 7.3 F350 Tremor. Holds 10th great and fuel mileage is....
    Well it holds 10th great😂

      After driving a Tremor 7.3 with 4.30s it’s the only way I would buy a 7.3. The 4.30 gears help a lot!

@@CTECH-REVIEWhow do they help exactly? Asking cause i will soon have a choice between a Platinum with the 3.73, and a Lariat Ultimate with the 4.30.
Thinking the 4.30 is probably not necessary for me as I'll never be towing over 12K but does it make the trans shift differently?

Yes! I sat in an XLT this weekend and was shocked at the squeezing just from touching it. I thought it was just that one, sounds like a design/build issue.

Yes not great. But solid for 24!

@@CTECH-REVIEW It was a brand new 2024 on the dealer lot, probably less than 20 mi on it. Other surprising thing is that my Ram 1500 Crew Cab has more room in the back seat than the F-250 Super Duty. The seat depth is a bit deeper on the RAM and the distance from the seat to the center console is greater on the Ram. The one place the F-250 had greater legroom was between the left and right rear seats and where I would have the driver seat positioned. So there might be more usable legroom in the back except for the center seat which is where we often put things like coolers as that space is about an inch and a half smaller

The difference in the steering effort is because the 6.7 truck has electronic assisted power steering that is part of the Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Lane Keep Assist. You can tell the trucks that have it by looking for the silver aluminum bracket visible in the front drivers side wheel well.

Thank you for watching, and that is a great point about the aluminum bracket, I remember seeing this on my 23...Thank you for that comment!!

That XLT did have lane assist. It is included with Pro Trailer Backup Assist. You can also tell by the button on the steering wheel.
