As a white guy, I deliver a lot in the south and many of my customers are predominantly black businesses. I notice that when I first started delivering to them they were very stand-off ish. But after a couple trips and they saw I was respectful to them they really opened up and became friendly. For months I would often wonder what that was about. Then I realized that maybe some of the white folks they used to deal with were rude or racist.

      "Switching the race card"?
I'm just telling you my experience delivering to the deep south. Up here in the north it's a different environment when whites and blacks work together in most cases.

I was born and raised in Atlanta. I never experienced direct racism either until i ventured outside of the Atlanta area. I still remember the first time i was called an nword from a non blk person and it was wierd because it wasn't our way of expressing it. I say that because, it aint because you were not down south, it was because you were not knowledgeable enough of whats around you. In Atlanta, during my childhood, it was all blk. Only time i ever saw a yt person was either on tv or if we went downtown. Mind you, our home was a 10 minute walk to downtown.

'negative folks don't like that good energy'. Truth. Vampires will always feed off of your reaction to them. Everybody has a function, even your haters. They teach you how to react to them to be better at what you do. This is Sun Tzu, The Art of War thinking. Well done.
