It's been a while since the last pop cover, so here's a break from the craziness for something a little simpler! Alone was Marshmello's debut release on Monstercat (notice the colors), and the start of the giant we know today. Although the original was much more energetic, there was an emotional side to Marshmello's melodies that came to the surface with a calmer piano arrangement. Enjoy :)

I love how delicate you made the song sound at the start then made it sound powerful near the end as if it were telling a story about love and breakup.

Why do you have to assume someone knows no other difficult classical pieces just because they requested a famous one? You've said that to several people who've mentioned it. Just... stop. People want to listen to music. No need to patronise them for it.
@@gartyqam Key word: "probably". You don't know how much they know about classical music, so don't assume they know nothing! There's an equal chance that they know plenty of pieces Liszt but they like Hungarian Rhapsody so they want Rousseau to play it.
Requesting something popular is not cringy. Do you know why things are popular? Why they get requested a lot? Because people like them! People have a right to request things they like without being patronised for it! The number of likes shows that over a hundred people agree with the OC. Just let a hundred people be in agreement about enjoying music without assuming to know all about their music taste.

I can do the G to B and B to D stretch cleanly. The A to C# and D to F# is just barely within my reach and I struggle to do those cleanly. So I just use my right hand for those notes. Not as impressive I suppose, but sounds the same.
