To be fair Harley's recent rise to mainstream dominance as fictional character isn't unwarranted, it's just a bit dissapointing how she is being used. Harley has natrual gas in the tank as a character due to her hard fixed toxic relationship with Joker. This leaves her room to be depicted as a victim of him more so than a willing accomplice. I think the problem with Harley is how overtly and easily she is either excused or absolved of her previous wrong doings by his side, or is even championed when she engages in similar acts independent of him. It's very weird and hard for me to put into words but to simplify, I would say it is due to them prioritizing making her a girl boss and comodifying her character that they ignore other facets of her character and history, thus missing out on story diversity and depth when it comes to Harley.

To be fair, there’s a pretty common headcanon that the Arkham Knight was planning on assassinating all of the villains he worked with when Batman was dead. Essentially, he would become Gotham, new protector and extension. He would get revenge on the criminals who hurt him as Robin. That’s never been confirmed, but judging by the fact, he already had a red hood logo in his base of operations, it very much implies that he was going to become a vigilante. So Jason, working with Harley in the past could’ve just been a means to an end and he would’ve killed her later

No, it was revealed in the Genesis comic that Jason as Arkham Knight tracked down harley and forced her to steal money for him, to fund his operation, if she didn't, he would kill her. It was payback for the torture she put him through that whole year he was imprisoned at Arkham Asylum, she had it coming 😂

I swear Harley took part In the torture of Jason alongside most Of The rogues in Arkham. I think he only Recruited her in Arkham Knight as His Main plan was to Kill Batman before turning in His Rogues gallery and Killing them all. This was actually hinted at As There's A glitch which shows a hidden red hood symbol in the Arkham knights base Hinting he was gonna eventually become Tge Red Hood regardless. so he was probably planning to turn on Scarecrow And The others eventually he just needed them at the time.

Aiden Pearce doesn't hesitate to go for headshots either, but it's the point blank takedowns that are so beautifully choreographed. In a style-based game like Arkham's stealth action competitors, the most visually satisfying player verbs become their own reward outside of the game's mechanical resource management, or as Butter puts it, "Make things look cool and people will want to do them." So being able to choose between visually distinct actions at the press of a button, in this case getting a knife vs a gun takedown, is critical for on the fly player expression and decision making in both stealth and combat That being said, if we want to preserve the rhythm and simple arithmetic of free flow while also incorporating action shooter elements, Arkham already has an extremely important resource that could be burned on bullet time, and that's the combo meter. Red Dead: Redemption's marking system also looks really good with dual wielding. Once it's full, you can choose to either get one highly lethal takedown or multiple very accurate shots, forming a push/pull between rhythm and shooting that means you have to rapidly transition between two very different motor reflexes. Because the meter is an integer number of successful strikes and not a free floating point, the number of shots you take should correspond with how much meter you lose. Arkham Knight's version of Red Hood already does a pretty good job of this with his spammable flashbangs, abundant flooring moves, and lightning fast ground pounds, so I would just recommend visually reconextualizing his melee strikes as judo throws so they look cool and follow the rule of visually rewarding important player verbs. I think if they made a red hood game, it would be neat if it actually gives you the choice on whether you want to kill your enemies or spare them. Regardless, he should be brutal as hell, but I think it would be really neat if there was a morality system, and you could get different endings, depending on who you choose to kill and you choose to spare. Of course, they can be so many choices you could make, after all the plot needs to have some consistency, but maybe you would only get this decision for major characters? For example, if you’re going after the suicide squad, after each member, you defeat, you could choose if you want to keep them alive, but remove their bomb and turn them into the police (and by extension exposing Amanda Waller, since as far as the public knows they should still be locked up in Arkham) or you could just kill them.
My thought is a blend the Arkham knight combat mechanics and a sort of splinter cell stealth shooter where you can use both mechanics seamlessly in the same encounter. Kind of how warhammer space marine blends hack and slash melee with gears of war shooting mechanics.
I would honestly be worried about Jason being in the hands of rocksteady because they would most likely just try to ruin him. But if they get their heads straight then I’m all for it.
I would prefer a Nightwing game first. Or a NIghtwing and Red Hood story would be cool too. Their personalities are very different, and they would be able to play off of each other well.
honestly this is why I still like Gotham Knights to a degree, the gameplay may be a slog but the relationship between the characters is really well written as is how they describe Jason's whole "coming back to life" thing...Super PTSD is a bitch.

I like to pretend that SSKTJL didn’t happen because in Assault on Arkham, the only members of the team who survived were Harley, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang. And I’m pretty sure Deadshot killed Waller at the end anyway.
Assault on Arkham has to many differences from the games from the actual games to be cannon. For example,the movie is set before Arkham asylum,but Scarface already has the joker smile painted on his face or how Penguin has his hand bandaged,even if this is before Arkham city,where he's supposed to get it broken,or how about the one night stand between Harley and "Deadshot",that is never brought up again.
@@petrenicolae3282For all we know, Joker could’ve had many different Scarface puppets. As Aaron Cash said, most of the puppets that were found were not the original, but rather Joker’s knockoffs. Penguin could have had his hand broken by any number of people and then healed before Arkham City when Batman breaks it. And since Deadshot isn’t a major character in the series apart from Origins, it really doesn’t matter that he slept with Harley.
the knight returns but it’s abt red hood where he takes over a lost gotham in his own way the same as under the red hood with no batman in the city and have robin trying to find out who is red hood and alfred keeping it all a secret till the end where robin (a lot of incounters) comes to his senses and realizes it’s jason but the main villain would be death stroke and harley quinn could be a side villain where he finds out she killed bruce and was on what happened to him in arkham making him hungry for blood and instead of taking his enemies in he kills em🤷♂️
I think that she should recruit him, but soon he finds out that Harley and Waller were in on the death of batman and finds a way to get the thing out of his brain and makes a team to not just get revenge on Amanda but Harley aswell
I've said it before we need a chronicles of Arkham game which takes us through time with each sidekick, redhood, robin, nightwing and batgirl with batman there with them but as a supporting character and then a villain game where we play as a few different Arkham villains obviously still using the Arkham style fighting combat and style but changed up slightly depending on the character your playing as
I think it would be pretty cool to have the player decided at certain points of the story if they want to kill off a character. For example Red Hood is on they Harlequin and or Amanda Waller boss fights and the player can spare or kill them. Then one the games plot unfolds and or is complete we find out what’s “cannon”.
I think red hood should be the final dlc of suicide squad ktjl and in the end of the dlc he takes out the neck bomb to lead up to his own game where he kills the suicide squad.

I think Azrael should be the replacement for Batman. That’s what his entire goal was. Batman was considering it. He’d have the cult that was controlling him to fight against. That could be a real interesting story to follow. And he matches what Batman said Gotham needs. "Gotham needs something more, something... worse to defend her. She needs a new myth, a legend more powerful than I can be right now. A legend that can only rise from the ashes of the Batman.” Azrael is very associated with fire.(ashes) Azrael literally means the angel of death. He is to keep Gotham safe after Batman’s death. He would be a legend, untraceable, a mystery, and would only be the Batman or whatever he needs to be. He doesn’t have another life to maintain so he would be fully committed. He doesn’t have anyone to lose, so he doesn’t have the “weakness” that Batman had. Everything lines up to him being the next to be the bat.

Yes Azrael also wanted to kill his enemies to begin with, but depending on what the player chooses to do he rejects that. He rejected the cult that controlled him but his goal hasn’t changed. He wants to free Gotham from crime. It’s not what they want to be. It’s why they want it that matters.

I kinda feel like if he'd have a game that he maybe wouldn't start off with killing. Even more so if it would be an arkham continuation. Rubber bullets and all that and either as the max upgrade or just for a specific moment in the game that he actually uses live rounds to make him feel overpowerd for a moment.
I would like to see red hood using a taser preferably imbedded in the guns just like in injustice 2, I also always liked it when red hood used a sword or two crowbars, but I guess the sword is more of damian's weapon I think it would be cool if red hood had like a high tech bike that could wall climb
Red Hood: Arkham Outlaws seems fitting for a game title but the story would be how he would create the Outlaws meeting and recruiting Starfire first, then Artemis, then Roy Harper/Arsenal and then Bizzaro to create the Outlaws and the main objective is take down the Suicide Squad, kill Harley Quinn and Amanda Waller (probably a Deathstroke fight like Arkham Origins but what it should’ve been in Arkham Knight, *ahem* should’ve took notes Rocksteady). For one of the secret suits other than Lego Red Hood, his suit from The White Knoght comic trilogy seems interesting (I would also add Duke Thomas’ Robin suit too from the same comic arc but give Jason a full or face only mask
Red hood has enough versatility gameplay wise I would rather have Ninja Theory do it and plus in the comics he carries The All-Blade. Imagine a DMC style red hood game where you kill the suicide squad and recruit gangs 😅
I think and Azrael/ robin and Nightwing game would be amazing. The story is is that after the events of Arkham Knight robin(tim drake) has to work with Nightwing to minimize the citys out of control crime because bloodheavens criminals are rushing in to take advantage of the confusion after their riots caused by Scarecrow's fear toxin and they run into azrael who's trying to become the new Batman but is still too violent so robin and nightwing have to stop him from taking it to far. The main villains wild be the Order that controlled Azrael And to make the fans happy half way(or the end) of the game u investigate the murder of black mask leading back to the Arkham Knight dlc that Red Hood is in action.
Honestly, it would not surprise me if Jason was working with the villains in Knight as a means to an end, to wear Batman down, Knightfall style, and once Batman was dead, the militia were to betray them and either kill them on the spot, or bring them to Jason to take out himself.

He created a new white and black costume with a red skull insignia on his chest. He also added a dark cape and returned to the original elongated helmet worn by The Joker during his time as Red Hood. That is badass he also has a leather jacket option which is black.
If anyone’s read the red hood outlaw comics, I think a cool game idea would be the prince of Gotham storyline. Where he essentially takes over penguins criminal enterprise as a better way to control crime. Either that or do a nightwing game where red hood is the main villain and is doing his under the red hood thing (or prince of Gotham, which I’m partial to)

honestly if they just had Jason actually show up in the SS game it would fix SOOOOO MANY issues with how bs Batman's death was etc...Like he's the one member of the Batfamily who would be willing to kill Batman if he absolutely had to but he'd just as much try to talk him down first in what would essentially be the same confrontation as Arkham Knight but with their places switched. From there we have 2 major outcomes of Jason being forced to kill Bruce in a sort of "I know he wouldn't want to be this monster" situation and have Batman die to someone who actually makes capable sense. Or we have Jason actually break through the control but something happens and in order to fix the situation Batman is forced to sacrifice himself so they still get to kill him off but it gets to leave Jason with an "I'm proud of you" and protect him this time while also dying "as himself".
They should add like a double jump or something to red hood so he can cross roof tops faster and easier, also they could bring in the use of venom from the comics.
A red hood game should have a Honor System like in red dead redemption 2 like the more you kill as red hood the darker he gets and at the end of the game if you have low Honor you become like Thomas Wayne’s Batman with guns and knives on his belt and kills his villain’s but with high Honor you become like Bruce Wayne’s Batman
My idea for a Red Hood game would be to kill the suicide squad but he would do it with other anti heroes who have ties to Waller (examples: Peacemaker, Katana, and maybe even Deathstroke). But instead of being a shooter like KTJL, it would follow more in the footsteps of what Gotham Knights was supposed to be with each character having unique combat and abilities. Plus you could still call it Arkham Outlaws

If we get a Red Hood game, I prefer the idea of Red Hood sparing Harley as a redemption moment for Jason. I don't think I've seen a lot of redemption stories for Jason Todd so I think rocksteady has an opportunity to do something unique and special here.

Replace Bizzaro with the Conner Superboy and have him kinda be the voice of reason trying to keep the killing to a minimum. I like Bizzaro but he’d be boring as far as story goes. Conner’s tactile telekinesis and lower power level would make him more fun to play too if you wanted multiple playable characters. Have Red hood break into Cadmus when he gets a lead on Waller and have him find Conner before they can finish their brainwashing on him. Maybe some residual memories from Superman keep making him feel guilty for killing or something and by the end have him split from Red Hoods path
A better premis for a "Kill The Suicide Squad" game would be Red Hood tryng to stop Waller from controling all the metahumans, since we saw that she wanted to controll all the metahumans on Earth.
I try to put my favoritism for the Red Hood character on the back burner when it comes to stuff like this, but this concept is fantastic. However, I think the best parts of red hoods comic arks is him trying to be better but inevitably accepting what he is. For instance him killing penguin in the bizzaro and Artemis outlaws comics. He tries to live by the book in Gotham but he just can’t because he’s not Bruce or the others. He’s the one member of that family that seems to have that choice taken away in some form. That said, I think a game like this needs to take place between Arkham Knight and SSKTJL (which I haven’t played and have no desire to). Basically a story where Jason deals with his past in the Arkhamverse in an Gotham without Batman, while dealing with threats tailored to a red hood ark, and bit by bit reconnects with the bat family. Those are the keys to a story like this. And as it all unfolds the outlaws from the comics all appear more as Easter eggs and teases. The possibilities of this really set up rocksteady quite well

I think he only Recruited her in Arkham Knight as His Main plan was to Kill Batman before turning in His Rogues gallery and Killing them all. In terms of animation and player verbs we like to point to Watch_Dogs as the prime example of brutality through efficiency. Aiden Pearce doesn't hesitate to go for headshots either, but it's the point blank takedowns that are so beautifully choreographed. In a style-based game like Arkham's stealth action competitors, the most visually satisfying player verbs become their own reward outside of the game's mechanical resource management, or as Butter puts it, "Make things look cool and people will want to do them." So being able to choose between visually distinct actions at the press of a button, in this case getting a knife vs a gun takedown, is critical for on the fly player expression and decision making in both stealth and combat
That being said, if we want to preserve the rhythm and simple arithmetic of free flow while also incorporating action shooter elements, Arkham already has an extremely important resource that could be burned on bullet time, and that's the combo meter. Red Dead: Redemption's marking system also looks really good with dual wielding. Once it's full, you can choose to either get one highly lethal takedown or multiple very accurate shots, forming a push/pull between rhythm and shooting that means you have to rapidly transition between two very different motor reflexes. Because the meter is an integer number of successful strikes and not a free floating point, the number of shots you take should correspond with how much meter you lose. You can choose to exit bullet time early and preserve part of the meter for your next combo. Obviously being able to headshot everyone and instantly end the fight in your first combo would be overpowered, so you could have some enemy types with ballistic face masks that must be destroyed before they become vulnerable to takedowns - or you could burn two shots to kill one of them right away at the cost of not getting to destroy other masks. To make this also usable in stealth, you could make it so your meter doesn't deplete as long as you're within a designated predator zone, which also provides the quirk of being able to use Freeflow Focus Takedowns in stealth, which can be useful for edge case flashbang juggles
Finally, my section is about using guns and martial arts to create time windows with which to line up difficult headshots or perform longer takedowns without being interrupted and the physics of enemy hit reactions. Arkham Knight's version of Red Hood already does a pretty good job of this with his spammable flashbangs, abundant flooring moves, and lightning fast ground pounds, so I would just recommend visually reconextualizing his melee strikes as judo throws so they look cool and follow the rule of visually rewarding important player verbs. In his section on Splinter Cell: Blacklist Butter also offers some insight on how to provide additional depth with grabs and throws

I think if they made a red hood game, it would be neat if it actually gives you the choice on whether you want to kill your enemies or spare them.
Regardless, he should be brutal as hell, but I think it would be really neat if there was a morality system, and you could get different endings, depending on who you choose to kill and you choose to spare.
Of course, they can be so many choices you could make, after all the plot needs to have some consistency, but maybe you would only get this decision for major characters? For example, if you’re going after the suicide squad, after each member, you defeat, you could choose if you want to keep them alive, but remove their bomb and turn them into the police (and by extension exposing Amanda Waller, since as far as the public knows they should still be locked up in Arkham) or you could just kill them.
My thought is a blend the Arkham knight combat mechanics and a sort of splinter cell stealth shooter where you can use both mechanics seamlessly in the same encounter. Kind of how warhammer space marine blends hack and slash melee with gears of war shooting mechanics.
I would honestly be worried about Jason being in the hands of rocksteady because they would most likely just try to ruin him. But if they get their heads straight then I’m all for it.
I would prefer a Nightwing game first. Or a NIghtwing and Red Hood story would be cool too. Their personalities are very different, and they would be able to play off of each other well.

@@petrenicolae3282For all we know, Joker could’ve had many different Scarface puppets. As Aaron Cash said, most of the puppets that were found were not the original, but rather Joker’s knockoffs. Penguin could have had his hand broken by any number of people and then healed before Arkham City when Batman breaks it. And since Deadshot isn’t a major character in the series apart from Origins, it really doesn’t matter that he slept with Harley.

I think it would be pretty cool to have the player decided at certain points of the story if they want to kill off a character. For example Red Hood is on they Harlequin and or Amanda Waller boss fights and the player can spare or kill them. Then one the games plot unfolds and or is complete we find out what’s “cannon”.

Azrael is very associated with fire.(ashes) Azrael literally means the angel of death. He is to keep Gotham safe after Batman’s death. He would be a legend, untraceable, a mystery, and would only be the Batman or whatever he needs to be. He doesn’t have another life to maintain so he would be fully committed. He doesn’t have anyone to lose, so he doesn’t have the “weakness” that Batman had. Everything lines up to him being the next to be the bat.

Red Hood: Arkham Outlaws seems fitting for a game title but the story would be how he would create the Outlaws meeting and recruiting Starfire first, then Artemis, then Roy Harper/Arsenal and then Bizzaro to create the Outlaws and the main objective is take down the Suicide Squad, kill Harley Quinn and Amanda Waller (probably a Deathstroke fight like Arkham Origins but what it should’ve been in Arkham Knight, *ahem* should’ve took notes Rocksteady). For one of the secret suits other than Lego Red Hood, his suit from The White Knoght comic trilogy seems interesting (I would also add Duke Thomas’ Robin suit too from the same comic arc but give Jason a full or face only mask

The story is is that after the events of Arkham Knight robin(tim drake) has to work with Nightwing to minimize the citys out of control crime because bloodheavens criminals are rushing in to take advantage of the confusion after their riots caused by Scarecrow's fear toxin and they run into azrael who's trying to become the new Batman but is still too violent so robin and nightwing have to stop him from taking it to far. The main villains wild be the Order that controlled Azrael
And to make the fans happy half way(or the end) of the game u investigate the murder of black mask leading back to the Arkham Knight dlc that Red Hood is in action.
Honestly, it would not surprise me if Jason was working with the villains in Knight as a means to an end, to wear Batman down, Knightfall style, and once Batman was dead, the militia were to betray them and either kill them on the spot, or bring them to Jason to take out himself.

He created a new white and black costume with a red skull insignia on his chest. He also added a dark cape and returned to the original elongated helmet worn by The Joker during his time as Red Hood. That is badass he also has a leather jacket option which is black.
If anyone’s read the red hood outlaw comics, I think a cool game idea would be the prince of Gotham storyline. Where he essentially takes over penguins criminal enterprise as a better way to control crime. Either that or do a nightwing game where red hood is the main villain and is doing his under the red hood thing (or prince of Gotham, which I’m partial to)

honestly if they just had Jason actually show up in the SS game it would fix SOOOOO MANY issues with how bs Batman's death was etc...Like he's the one member of the Batfamily who would be willing to kill Batman if he absolutely had to but he'd just as much try to talk him down first in what would essentially be the same confrontation as Arkham Knight but with their places switched.

A red hood game should have a Honor System like in red dead redemption 2 like the more you kill as red hood the darker he gets and at the end of the game if you have low Honor you become like Thomas Wayne’s Batman with guns and knives on his belt and kills his villain’s but with high Honor you become like Bruce Wayne’s Batman
My idea for a Red Hood game would be to kill the suicide squad but he would do it with other anti heroes who have ties to Waller (examples: Peacemaker, Katana, and maybe even Deathstroke). But instead of being a shooter like KTJL, it would follow more in the footsteps of what Gotham Knights was supposed to be with each character having unique combat and abilities. Plus you could still call it Arkham Outlaws

Replace Bizzaro with the Conner Superboy and have him kinda be the voice of reason trying to keep the killing to a minimum. I like Bizzaro but he’d be boring as far as story goes. Conner’s tactile telekinesis and lower power level would make him more fun to play too if you wanted multiple playable characters. Have Red hood break into Cadmus when he gets a lead on Waller and have him find Conner before they can finish their brainwashing on him. Maybe some residual memories from Superman keep making him feel guilty for killing or something and by the end have him split from Red Hoods path

I try to put my favoritism for the Red Hood character on the back burner when it comes to stuff like this, but this concept is fantastic. However, I think the best parts of red hoods comic arks is him trying to be better but inevitably accepting what he is. For instance him killing penguin in the bizzaro and Artemis outlaws comics. He tries to live by the book in Gotham but he just can’t because he’s not Bruce or the others. He’s the one member of that family that seems to have that choice taken away in some form. That said, I think a game like this needs to take place between Arkham Knight and SSKTJL (which I haven’t played and have no desire to). Basically a story where Jason deals with his past in the Arkhamverse in an Gotham without Batman, while dealing with threats tailored to a red hood ark, and bit by bit reconnects with the bat family. Those are the keys to a story like this. And as it all unfolds the outlaws from the comics all appear more as Easter eggs and teases. The possibilities of this really set up rocksteady quite well
Yeah we need a redhood game this is the most tragic version fo jason and all they give us is one scene of him helping batman and now they have him as a lone wolf I don't like that he needs a sidekick or girlfriend to help him ease his trauma

He really does and show us what he has been up during the gap between Arkham knight and suicide squad kill the justice league and maybe tell us if he is alive when that happens or not
this game would work if
A. james gun writes the story of the game (actually i can settle for amy hennig and nail druckmann, tbh)
B. old rocksteady developers are back and new ones get fired
C. they no longer work with sweet baby inc.
