Someone should create a game where you start out as "robin" (unknown) and then the way you play, options for combat, weapons, upgrades and even gameplay choices and then as the game develops you start growing more towards the known Robins either becoming one or having characteristics from multiple. It could work like ghosts of tsushima for example how your choices would make you become a samurai or ghost like becoming dick or jason (again for example) also that way costumes can be implemented and endgame you could unlock a batman suit specifically tailored towards each robin
one idea i’ve had for a different combat style for Batman is to get RGG Studios to make a Yakuza game with Batman in it, like how they made a Fist of the North Star game (actually have no idea if that game has Yakuza combat tbh) well, actually my idea is for them to make a Cassandra Cain in Hong Kong game. but that’ll never happen because we just neeeeddddddd a game with Barbara, Dick, Jason, and Tim again!!!!

I would absolutely watch you breaking down the Arkham games, also only 4 minutes in so I don’t know if you mention this, but you writing a potential Arkham sequel/ spin-off would also be awesome
The story sounds amazing! I would definitely play that game if it was made. Personally, i think they should make games for each member of the Bat Family still centered in Rocksteady's Batman universe like a Nightwing game, a Red Hood game, a Red Robin game, a Catwoman game, even for characters that haven't appeared before like a Batwoman game.
I want a new Batman Arkham game but I want them to actually make Batman a character like in Origins instead of a brick with a frowny face like in all the other ones
I am literally begging for a new arkham game. I am such a big DC fan and yet I skipped SSKTJL And Gotham Knights which if you told 15 year old me. I woulda scoffed. I also loved Batgod era hahaha
Honestly, Gotham Knights is 100% worth playing. It's a slow start but if you just rush knighthood for your preferred character, it instantly becomes a really fun game and the story and character dynamics is easily enough to make it worth playing
Rather than the court, I'd quite like to see something like the Children of Arkham from the Telltale game. A rising of disgruntled workers and poor people targeting Wayne and the other elites of Gotham. You could not only then include the asylum in the game, making it their HQ and letting players revisit the iconic map all these years later, but also have them challenge Batman's identity. Dick may even agree with the Children, based on his own upbringing in the circus, and this story could be why he ends up leaving to become Nightwing
Just to let you know guys what Troy gets wrong is this video is that Rocksteady was never planned to make a Dark Knight video game, other game studios were and at the time EA were tied to doing it. You can find many videos on that all over UA-cam about it. Rocksteady was tied to make a superhero video game but when The Dark Knight games stopped being in development they got the green light to make a Batman game. I hope this helps👍🏻
If we really need another Batman game just make it about Cass, pretty much everyone agrees shes the best candidate to take over after Bruce yet there hasnt been any kind of major media depicting that.
I haven't had the chance to play Sifu yet because my PS4 broke 3 years ago and my laptop is too bad to run any games, so I'll need a PC before I can ever try it, BUT from what I saw it is practically a Spiritual Successor to the Capcom PS2 game "God Hand" I can highly recommend you giving that game a shot, although Sifu does seem to iterate on it in a couple smart ways and make dealing with multiple enemies at once a lot more fair and comfortable
I haven't played Sifu, but based off your explanation of its combat I feel like you'd like For Honor, it's got that same dodge mechanic but I'm not sure how much it'd scratch that itch otherwise
I swear I really hope we get good DC games again because lately with Gotham Knights and SSKTJL failure, DC really needs a win when it comes to their videogames and it sucks that Arkham Shadow is a VR game because it legitimately looks cool and that has so much potential that could be far better utilitised without being a VR game. I truly hope we get better DC/Arkham games once again that truly have passion and dedicated love put into them on the same level of love as the previous Arkham games had, not just for Batman but for so many other incredible DC characters with so much potential to have their own video game without being a live service game or VR game. I am truly hoping Monoliths upcoming Wonder Woman game ends up being a hit🤞🙏
I think it would be cool if we got a game in between Origins and Asylum but with Jason Todds Robin. The game would fill in the gaps set up in Knight and giving us some time with Jason Todd would make his reveal in Knight so much more impactful and less spontanius.
With the Court of Owls as the main antagonists, we NEED to have a Talon boss fight in a similar vein to Arkham Origins Deathstroke! You could either make it an introductory fight where multiple weaker varients appear in later combat encounters were they're a class of ninja that need to be hit with a special takedown to get them out of the fight completely or have it be the climactic final fight were it's a tag battle with you switching between Batman and Robin as the fight goes on
I really enjoyed the later games that had sword enemies along knife enemies. They can both be taken down the same way, meaning that you had to vary your timing based on which type was attacking.
Troyoboyo, please do a video on what a TMNT Batman Arkham type game would look like. I have so many ideas for gameplay, visual style, character design- all I need is just a good story. I want to save city at war for dlc, and include Return To New York (just without the mutants yet) and NO KRANG. I want it to be a grounded story, like how the game TMNT Out Of The Shadows started with the purple dragons, then moved on to Shredder. Gameplay is mostly like Arkham, but also like the game Sifu. Free flow combat mixed with environmental attacks, plus single and team finishers (like how Insomniac Spiderman did the finishers) and you can do certain button combinations to do different animations. It has strong attacks, light attacks, a jump button (obviously), and a counter button and a projectile throw with the left bumper, the right trigger can be used to actually do your finisher. Please do this!!!
Did you know originally the nemesis system that the devs made was for a Batman game they were working on. However, whilst working with WB they were asked to change their efforts to work on another massive IP, giving us Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor. I believe it was a game for The Dark Knight however apparently Christopher Nolan had all say on the content made sharing his universe and decided the Batman Begins game wouldn't have a sequel.
I have a lot of love for how city made catwoman playable in the open world, it let you break up batmans story and also she plays a lot differently without the glider and traversing the open world feels like a completely different game
If they do make a superman game they should make lobo a dlc playable character, he can’t fly but he can use the bike and his missions are way more of a bullet hell shooter
just let the series end and start something new the story was given closure with knight, and you vr plus the new one to fill in the gaps, lets spare this series the nightmare of being kept on constant life support for no reason whatsoever
I’ve had the thought of a game like this since I played Arkham knight: a co-op (or single player) game focused on nightwing and robin investigating what red hood is doing in bludhaven while robin finds his identity as a crime fighter without batman (id love for nightwing to have travel like assassins creed parkour and Spider-Man’s acrobatics and robin traveling in a modified version of the Arkham asylum Batmobile)
10:24 maybe this is just me, but I wish I got to play that multiplayer, even if it meant being the random henchman that get easily taken down by Batman. Just the novelty of stepping into the shoes of one of the nameless henchman Batman stocks from the shadows and having a fight for my life against the seemingly unstoppable force of Batman sounds incredibly fun
I want a Terry MCGinnis for Rocksteady to take a different approach on the future neon aesthetic. A Deus Ex & Sifu take on combat and stealth, having Bruce as the mentor: Roger Craig Smiths Batman but older.
I recommend giving the ps2 game GodHand a try it has a pretty unique combat system and it gets super difficult at times, but one of the worst things about it is that some Characters did not age well
I'm dying for a new Arkham game but anything post Knight would be so weird without Conroy now. I would most like to see a revival of that Arkham Beyond game, as Batman Beyond would work so well in this universe. Maybe Roger Craig Smith could respectfully pull off an older Bruce in that as hes great in Origins
Hey huge fan of your stuff! And no yeah absolutely, I think going either Beyond with Terry/Damian or doing an Arkham Origins 2 that's a sort of semi-reboot with Roger Craig Smith would be ideal, I've never really wanted to see anything post-Knight and it would feel wrong with Conroy.

The devs of Arkham Shadow confirmed Ratcatcher was a devote follower of the Rat King, so they aren't the same
god please I would absolutely love to see you dive into all of the arkham games and their treatment of the characters especially
Someone should create a game where you start out as "robin" (unknown) and then the way you play, options for combat, weapons, upgrades and even gameplay choices and then as the game develops you start growing more towards the known Robins either becoming one or having characteristics from multiple. It could work like ghosts of tsushima for example how your choices would make you become a samurai or ghost like becoming dick or jason (again for example) also that way costumes can be implemented and endgame you could unlock a batman suit specifically tailored towards each robin
the way you mentioned Batman's detective work and not mention BATMAN TELLTALE SERIES IS A CRIME
this is me begging you to make a retrospective review of the arkham games where you go super in-depth!
"Officer balls" truly the greatest line of all time
PLEASE make that Arkham retrospective!!!
one idea i’ve had for a different combat style for Batman is to get RGG Studios to make a Yakuza game with Batman in it, like how they made a Fist of the North Star game (actually have no idea if that game has Yakuza combat tbh)
well, actually my idea is for them to make a Cassandra Cain in Hong Kong game. but that’ll never happen because we just neeeeddddddd a game with Barbara, Dick, Jason, and Tim again!!!!
I think it'd be cool to see riddler as the major antagonist of one of these games. I think it'd work even better in a prequel. Id love to see what a big full on main story worthy arkham riddler scheme is like.
I would absolutely watch you breaking down the Arkham games, also only 4 minutes in so I don’t know if you mention this, but you writing a potential Arkham sequel/ spin-off would also be awesome
Please do make a super long arkham retrospective
I would love a sifu like game where you play as wildcat and you go around the city beating thugs and having cameos of black canary or green arrow
A Wildcat game would go so hard holy shit
I dont think ive ever seen another in depth review of the arkham games so that would be cool to see
All they gotta do is make a 2 player co op Batman and robin game
I love the long videos! Please bring us a retrospective on the Arkham games!!!
Batwoman game where Killer Moth is the main villain would go hard ngl
@@kendi5391 Definitely would :)
Also a Batgirl game could definitely work as well, with Stephanie Brown taking the mantle and Barbara, as Oracle, would be her mentor.
@@onepresence9460 I'd prefer to play as Cassandra Cain Batgirl and Stephanie as Spoiler.
@@kendi5391 That could also work :)
I want a new Batman Arkham game but I want them to actually make Batman a character like in Origins instead of a brick with a frowny face like in all the other ones
I would totally watch a super long arkham analysis
13:40 “AH AH HE SAID IT, HE SAID IT!”
I love Gotham knights
Yeah I’d watch some in depth analyses of the Arkham games!
Just give me more Wally Wingert as the Riddler. His voice is the one I hear in my head for Riddler in the comics.
7:00 I don’t know, I’m a pretty big fan of when he’s written poorly
I would so love a batman Arkham retrospective from troyoboyo
Please please please please please make the Arkham games retrospectives please
I think a Batman 1966 game would be fun as a direct contrast to Arkham's series, its flaws have become too much to bear at this point.
What I want to see in an Arkham game is Green Arrow and Black Canary. Instead of Batman and Catwoman. I want a Green Arrow & Black Canary game.
12:26 hatewatching is basically lovewatching in denial
Yes, we fucking love super long videos
If we really need another Batman game just make it about Cass, pretty much everyone agrees shes the best candidate to take over after Bruce yet there hasnt been any kind of major media depicting that.
Everyone wanted a Beyond Arkham game, the game Rocksteady was working on using Damian as Batman
Rocksteady should make a TMNT game.
Okay complete coincidence but when I was thinking of making a vid as a "Battle for the cowl" Arkham game I called it Arkham Legacy too!
I haven't had the chance to play Sifu yet because my PS4 broke 3 years ago and my laptop is too bad to run any games, so I'll need a PC before I can ever try it,
BUT
from what I saw it is practically a Spiritual Successor to the Capcom PS2 game "God Hand"
I can highly recommend you giving that game a shot, although Sifu does seem to iterate on it in a couple smart ways and make dealing with multiple enemies at once a lot more fair and comfortable
i would love to watch a lengthy arkham retrospective!!!!
I would love to see u talk in depth bout the Arkham series. Also have u been seeing all the Superman set photos?
Long form arkham breakdowns please!!!!
The female characters were 1 to 1 with their comic book counterparts in the Arkham games, sexy & badass. Cry about it.
yes please make an arkham retrospective would love to hear your thoughts on all the games😃
do the Arkham retrospectives!!! I’d watch them all
I would watch that long Batman video man
Arkham shadow is a sequel to Arkham origins
A Batman beyond game would be appreciated
id love a retrospective of the old games!!!
I love the long videos! I have seen your msm2 review over 6 times
I would love a long Arkham retrospective fwiw
Court of owls would be cool but its way to early in the timeline for me
6:08 It is not at all a sequel to that dream sequence. It is a direct sequel to Arkham Origins, so open those arms back up
I haven't played Sifu, but based off your explanation of its combat I feel like you'd like For Honor, it's got that same dodge mechanic but I'm not sure how much it'd scratch that itch otherwise
That hitop films reference at 15:19 caught me so off guard lol
I would love a long Arkham vid
Plzzzzzz give us that Arkham Retrospective 😆😆
I’d love to see you review of the Arkham games!
If they do make a superman game they should make lobo a dlc playable character, he can’t fly but he can use the bike and his missions are way more of a bullet hell shooter
just let the series end and start something new
the story was given closure with knight, and you vr plus the new one to fill in the gaps, lets spare this series the nightmare of being kept on constant life support for no reason whatsoever
im not seeing enough appreciation for the edit at 17:15 chat that's one of my favorite clips ever
So you know every time you say "would you watch a video about ____" I say yes.
I personally love long videos! I can't count how many times ive listened to the Spiderman college trilogy and other prewrites during commutes!
I love videos about hypothetical games. It’s just fun to imagine
