This is Gordon's real personality. The "mean jerk" Ramsay is just a personality he created because he was asked by the TV producers to do that for the sake of the TV Drama and to attract the audience.
All these meals must be gross. I mean you got to know nothing is hot by the time they taste it. Do they keep it in a warmer I doubt they’d microwave anything. Lol
Based on my short time working on reality cooking competition shows (plural), contestants are asked to prepare several plates for each meal - not just the one. One is for the judges (and sometimes a spare in case of stuff that can melt under hot studio lights), and one for all the close up B-roll inserts of the meal. The meal for the close ups is taken away as soon as ready, to another studio / small setup for all the photos and videos / spinning shots. The meals for the judges are indeed sometimes less than at ideal temperature- despite there being a place like in restaurants where you keep food under very hot heat lamps ready to serve. Some judges take this into account, others less so.
"These dishes look amazing! 😍 It's so exciting to see which one will impress Gordon the most. What do you guys think makes a dish special enough to reach that next level for him? 🍽🔥"
@@MichaelSharpBLACKDRUMMIKE He also did a secondary video about 2 months ago where he said the restaurants of GR he tried were good. SortedFood channel also tried 3 GR restaurants and said they were good so its definetly up to individual experience as opposed to "if it's shit for me then it's shit for everybody". His casual dining spots have always hit and miss. His fine dining eateries though are overwhelmingly positive especially his flagship.
His prestige restaurants are one thing but the fare from his restaurants in airports or Main Street are going to be average. At the Main Street level is selling a brand not his chef skills. It’s kind of expected to make the money he makes. There’s always 2 tiers to a brand - the prestige and the more mid level
@@ethan741 That's actually a very interesting way to put it but still presents issues for GR. His "mid" restaurants are definitely a brand cause everybody be selling the same foods but just cooked in different ways with some being better then others. His prestige restaurants on the other hand are by definition a bit out of most people's price range which is one issue. The second issue is that many people find the concept of fine dining itself nevermind the cost to be pretentious due to its affiliation with elites, royalty, the rich and powerful, the style of food and cooking of it etc hence the aversion to partaking in that endeavor even if once which is sad because that's where GR talent as a chef really comes into play since that is his specialty.
@@ethan741 However I will disagree on the 2 tiers for a brand the prestige and the mid: His fine dining establishments are no brand, that's actually his skills that he's passed on to his head chefs and others who work for him in that field. His casual restaurant yes a brand. Mid/brand and prestige, big difference between both.
Way too many people are mentioning this in every video and nobody cares my man. It's about the only way he's beat GR which translate to absolutely nothing tangible in the real world where it truely counts.

Perfect example of social media making people dumb and gullible lmao, yeah mate some random contestant that didnt win his season & turned "social media food influencer" (most meaningless term ever lmao) beats a multi Michelin star chef, suuuure! Let me guess, you also think the wack turkish dude with the salt fetish is a better cook and so is the 'satirical asian' guy with the msg fetish? Do you not understand that these people make entertainment? not food? Maybe you should go suck up to them on their own channels mate 🤦♂
Take it easy with the music. It's overwhelming and it goes through the entire episode. Every moment can't be top drama. Take us on a journey.
I notice this a lot with stuff on UA-cam now. It's so overdone smh
Unfortunately the tik tok generation will get bored without it. They need dramatic inclusion every 5 secs 🤷♂️. They want it to be “dynamic”.
Very interesting. I made it to 6:59 when my last good nerve said, "Enough with the effing music." Then I scrolled down and saw your comment.
The music is actually a part of the show....
Gordon da 🐐
I though AE looked familiar. I've seen her on a few of Uncle Rogers videos

I ate a packet of frisps
I'm eating my lunch 😂
0:36 theres nothing on her fork AT ALL. unless its sauce we cant see on the video. if its not sauce why do a fake bite for the camera?
I decided to watch a few times. It does show her grabbing some meat, but when the fork is to her mouth there is nothing. So I think bad editing.

Now is gonna get ready to beat Gordon from cooking and he'll try as he can from his best cooking.
The female judge seems to just parrot what Gordon says just in a slightly different way.
