My dad’s family was from Nashville and I grew up visiting annually. The folks in this episode with the local accent warm my heart so much. To this day I wish I’d picked the accent up.
Jesus, lord have mercy, this place is my worst nightmare. I have a severe seafood and shellfish allergy. The last thing I would expect is my beef cooked in the same pan as fish. I always ask when it comes to chicken or anything fried if it was done on the same cook top, pan or oil as seafood or shellfish but I wouldn't even think to ask about beef because I've never ever seen it cooked on the same top let alone pan as fish.

Irregardless of the new menu, all cooks need to know how to cook a variety of dishes and a variety of methods. Also, this restaurant originally had a bajillion of possible foods which was more of a hindrance than the mere 22 that Gordon changed it to so don't get it mixed up. Also, you can see that on this show, the chefs ARE perfectly able to cook the new menu well but bad leadership causes quality to be rushed and bad once more. Chappy opened a couple more and closed a couple more restaurants, not because of struggling to cook Gordon's menu but because he's a terrible person
