Hi bro, thanks u helped me allot
Actually I'm suffering from misfiring on my honda insight hybrid 2009
Changed coils and spark plugs
Changed piston compression all good, no vacuum leak
And no codes accept p0302 p0303 P0300
Need to be looked at by a tech.
Diag is hard. I know that sinking feeling when you got something wrong, it doesn’t feel good at all. But it looks like this is a Honda programming issue so no reason to feel bad. I am subscribed and enjoy your videos, thanks for everything it has helped me.
So true! thanks for subscribing
Awesome
Thanks
Interesting! I'm running into nearly the exact same issue on a 16 Civic, broken pin on PCM so I replaced the PCM. Getting the 158 MPH on the Autel as well at TP sensor doesn't move when pressing the throttle, but does on the old PCM. Wont accept the VIN write as well. Already called and have a mobile tech coming out to try HDS, but judging by what you went through I don't think he is going to have any luck either.
He called me and we discussed it. I wish I could help more.
I just found something where a small group of people ran into the same issue on the same vehicle. Turns out, the dealers are sending out the wrong PCM because "the number was superseded", which is exactly what they are doing to me. To the dealers, the part they are sending out is supposed to be correct for the vehicle, but from what i've read, this is not the case and the PCM part number must exactly match on the new one. I'm going to do some more digging into this. @@DallasAutoDiag
@@beermechanic thanks for the uodate
Hello, thanks a lot for video. I have a same issue but i dontt have a original control module so im not able to clone it. Any ideas what i have to do?
@@beermechanic hi, did you get the right control module?
ooooof does look like you went through a gauntlet figuring out that when these honda's have a critical error it shoots out every dashlight as an error
It was. I have another one in my shop with the same not able to write Vin issue. He wants to take to dealer before let me do it
@DallasAutoDiag dealer doesn't under the codes are fake either , I had changed my spark plugs and apparently they were bad. Took the dealer 2 months and 7k in parts and labor trying to troubleshoot fake codes. they finally decided to check the plugs and car magically worked. At least they took the loss
I'm sure you've gained much experience thru this trial
Yup
What are you using to clone the ecm? Does it do ford and gm global a cars
I got most of the ones in market
