Lol. I agree. I think it's a CAN BUS issue. Who knows it might be a blow fuse. Usually I tell my customers to check fuses before using me. I believe someone should've done this already to the car. They changed a trans so. We will see.
Hello I do not know the current status. My guess is that it could be a relay that is responsible for the power supply to the ECU. It flickers or the contacts are rusted. This happens with relays when they are placed in water with the sockets in which they are plugged in and then dry. You'll be looking for it for a long time...
