Awesome review as always - thanks for the kind words and glad you like it! Our current wait list for the 2.0 Backboxes is 2-3 months, but anyone not on it yet can message/email us and we'll get them added.
AtGames should do a deal with this company, and just start including this mod as standard with a "pro" version of the ALP. At least, now, I know it IS possible to replace the existing tiny backglass monitor with something big enough for me to see, if I decide to get an ALP. For the time being, I do have the DIY table from GameRoomSolutions, and the not so easy to see A1up tables. Thanks for sharing this.
PS. Pdubs, my compliments on giving credit where credit is truly due. To Buy Stuff AND Wagner, I love seeing people recognized for their project/work/developments in this arena. Both are excellent sources of products and knowledge!
I've never understood why Atgames hasn't really dove into the custom graphics options for their equipment. The ALU suffers from this too. BuyStuff to the rescue. This is awesome!
Awesome mods Dub's! Excellent tutorial; really sweet. Looks like Buystuff really put in the effort to make it as easy as possible. I hope that AG thinks about putting out a premium 4K vpin sometime in the future, but this is the next best thing.
I have had mine for about a year now. It is an expensive item but I couldn’t be happier. It just makes the ALP look way better and it just ramps the experience up (especially in otg) to another level. These guys are awesome and I have their haptics kit as well. With the addition of these items and solenoids, the ALP really rocks for the price point. unit and I’m glad the BSS guys support it!
Can't do it...the back box cost more than I purchased the table for. I know I got a great sale on it at Sam's Club, but that is what it is worth to me. I might do the legs. Great video either way.
That looks incredible Pdubs! I don’t think I’ll ever connect a PC to my ALP but I still would like that same Back-box you purchased for the stock games. And I’m definitely getting the taller legs. I didn’t know those existed. Thanks a million and awesome review! 👍🏻
Looks amazing Dubs! I'm waiting on the Buy Stuff budget backbox and will definitely be grabbing it when it comes out and getting some new art for my machine. Looking forward to seeing your video on setting this up with VPX since that's mostly what I use my Legends pinball for when using OTG.
I've been loving mine for the last month, BSA is just fantastic 👍 The last couple of days I've been updating my backglass images with higher resolution ones, since the ones I used on the stock display now look funky, haha.
@@rushmore3927 they're marked sold out because it's a wait list. You have to contact BSA to be placed on it. It took me 2-3 months before I got my invoice. After paying it only took another two, three weeks to get to me.
I love my upgraded backbox from 1.0 to 2.0 but getting my pc to work with it isn’t easy as you say…the stock tables look awesome on it and one day maybe I can get the rest to work
Great video I have been debating on buying one of these but I think that you kind of sold me on it hopefully I will be able to get one in a few months or so I know when I went there there were out of them so I don't know if they're still on back order but I definitely want to grab one of these back glass for my pinball machine
Love that backbox and will definitely be picking one up shortly. In the meantime, thanks for the links to the legs and bolts, because those made a HUGE difference. At 6'3", I was always a bit hunched over, but now I can stand straight and play comfortably. The black powder coat is much nicer than the stock gray as well. I should have replaced those legs a long time ago. =)
Thanks for sharing. Great video. Need a lot more than just 2.5" for the new legs.... Need a version that adds 5" to 6". I'm only 5'10" and I'm sooooo tired of stooping for my ATGames Pinball that I find myself sitting down, which distorts the visual enjoyment of the game. BuyStuffAracades, PLEASE come out with even longer legs.

I'm super jealous. Looks amazing and def worth the price, buystuff gives you alot for your money. They should have won last night on MB stream but the A1up community pushed for coin door modder lmao, give me a break, Buystuff has way more stuff and way cooler better stuff than a lit coin door. Anyways I am still on stock tables, just too busy to setup pc pinball, but soon, that might push me to do this or... I might take a gamble with chinese 4k pinball system or build my own bigger pinball table kit?
Excellent tutorial thank you - once you installed the JoyToKey button mapping will the plunger work with Pinball FX3? Also would you consider getting the Buy Stuff Arcade Haptics Upgrade Kit and maybe also adding Solenoid Flipper Button Control upgrade from Cleveland Software Design?

And heck, I currently have a dead iiRcade Gold edition sitting in my living room that I've been working with their support for over 2 months now with no resolution in sight, with them having me re-seat all manner of tiny wires OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I just can't win. I wish some company could figure out a secret sauce, to get all players to work together to create a small form factor VPin, between $1000 and $2000, that is truly plug and play (plug into power and go with minimal cabinet build), with an online store where you could purchase any pinball table ever made. Where the community could work with license holders and even assist building real tables out, everyone sharing in the profits, making some money (not all the money), so it would be more advantageous for people to get paid for their work instead of people having to resort to pirating stuff.
