    Great video!! As a fellow (small) designer I think this is one of the best guides for glitching and very optimized in the amount of time you showcased them!
    I think I just would add maybe the new slat partition as part of the tool kit? I have used them a lot recently since they can:
    let you float wall items very easily
    and also helps when you do cranes in a tight space!
    I think they would be a great addition to any designers tool kit C:
    Also just a side note about the rotation part to lock floated items, I dont know if its just me but a few items have requiered me to rotate them a bit :C just by clicking them with the rotate option doesnt seem to work for everything, I dont know if it works for everyone but maybe a small note to take mind ;v;

      Regarding the slat partition, I never though about that, it does seem useful indeed ! I might showcase it in another video, if I do one.
      Regarding the rotation-lock, I floated countless various items and never had this issue happening to me, so I find it really surprising. Which items are you referring to ?

    This is really helpful. I hope you can do tutorials for floating partitions in large house or how to float ceilings high up the main or middle chandelier

    Its amazing to hear you explain how to do this. Also, I know people are not one to talk about it in-game but have you thought to use Burn Down the House? It's a great tool for those of us who arent as amazing as you and others who can do it this way? Of course, sadly it's only a PC only tool.

      Regarding the TPP you are talking about, I heard about it and saw a few videos showcasing its use. However, I do not encourage it, mainly because I don't know if it "breaks the game" or not (according to designers in the housing community). Since I don't know, I won't use it, but I won't blame/shame people for wanting to.
      I guess, if I had concrete proof, I believe I might use this tool.

      @@seimiyak.3548 I tried and could never get the way you do and I personally use the program its client-side only as in what you see when doing it but archives most of the same things those of you master who can do it the painful way it just helps save time and you can get really picky with how things are placed. None of what I have done would I have been able to without it. I've used in both apartments and all-sized homes.

      @@akaoeudoxia117 My only issue with using this program is that, compared to G-shade or ACT, it has an actual effect in the game. For ACT and G-shade, even a noob in computers like me can understand that it doesn't affect the game at all, it's either a calculator or a shader, it's only on your computer. On the other hand, this tool floats things directly. I wouldn't mind as much if the program was actually doing the glitch in your place (meaning placing the shelfs to float the items), but it just place it in mid-air without going through the glitch. As someone who does not understand if it will have an impact on the instances of the house I build or not, I prefer not taking the risk.
      However, like I said before, if I had concret proof that it is 100% safe, then I would use it. It's not like I like doing housing the painful way, I actually hate it. I don't really think I mastered the glitches either, and even if I do, I would rather not have had to learn them as it is a pain in the ass, but I am stubborn x) In any ways, I guess I just learn to deal with them until we find a more useful and 100% safer way.

      @@seimiyak.3548 Do you have Characters in Primal or Crystal? You'd also be surprised to know how many people use it because like the other two mods you spoke of or even stuff like Textool and CMTool or Amenies. Thiers no problem using either of them as their all 100% safe. It's just skipping the steps you've hard to learn to do your stuff and saving some time. I've personally used it in all size of homes and apartments and thiers no problem. I say the only thing that happens is you may get a few more accidental "elevators" but that's just partly with where you place lofts or in my case I tend to use stages more. Since It takes up more room if you don't mind the thickness. As one of the stages, I use spands 2 lofts. But as for interfering with instances not at all I've seen some really popular clubs that use it and it's just fine.
      Like normal instance they say no minons as it takes a players space but that's not because of Burn down the house. Though sadly it does not keep us from falling when building on platforms I wish.

      @@akaoeudoxia117 I totally understand your point, but I went to Burning the House's site, and I couldn't find any proof that it doesn't break the instances. I met multiple people saying they used it and didn't find any problem, and I trust you on that, but the creators of those tools never claimed it didn't had any effects ! Or at least, I never saw it. The only informations the site gives is to be careful of the utilisation of the tool in order to avoid the ban from SE, but there wasn't any disclaimer about its effects on the game, how it works in general, etc.
      I am not saying that these tools are evil, I am just saying that I don't want to try using something that I am not sure will "break the game" at a the risk of loosing my account if I am discovered. These are basically 2 red flags to me. I am simply not encline to risk that. Call me chicken or an idiot, I am fine with that, but until I find a tool that actually says that it is not dangerous for the game, I won't take that risk...

    do you know of the plugin Burning the House down?

    • @seimiyak.3548
      @seimiyak.3548  2 роки тому

      I know of it, but it is against ToS and a taboo subject within the housing community, which is why many designers don't use this plugin. That's why I made this video ^^
