People are lazy and want hard work pay for zero effort
@@coreybutler7668 i did the same thing in high school.
But now that my skill set and knowledge affords me better paying work, my price to do bottom barrel work goes up. Unless I am in a situation that dictates otherwise.
@@coreybutler7668and I’m willing to bet that you’re not doing that job anymore
You most likely have a comfier job that pays more now; don’t you?
As if that fact wasn't very apparent, now we have the DEI hired sissy bunch to contend with.
This job definately not for me.
Bah-ha-ha-ha! I used to do this for JB for ½ the money!
I trained there in 2000 for morehead ky dc
dice341 Im training there now
Why why how much you guys pay for all this b.s ….as driver I’ll take $1000/ day and as owner operator or p.o I need $2000/ day no matter load finish or not ..
One company offered me up to $2k/week or $3k/week if you go out Saturdays and home daily. I don't see it though---no way someone is doing this job consistently in one day(or at least while having a life). All it takes is one employee going extra slow unloading your stuff onto the pallet off the rollers or a late manager not opening on time and you're behind schedule and screwed for the day. I saw one lady's video who did this and she showed up at 6am for unload and the manager was late and didn't show up til almost 9am. She wasn't even able to get into the back door til almost 10am. Now she was OTR so at least she had a sleeper... I can't imagine doing this home daily.
What is your average amount of pieces per stop?
i think they are between 400 and 700 unless seasonal but thats my store i cant speak for others..
I know one store got 2,000 pieces. That’s an all day job, lmao
There’s also some that are as low as 200 pieces. That only takes an hour to unload
You don’t pick and choose. It’s random. So from my experience, it could range anywhere from 250-2000 pieces per stop
Thank you
Do not drive for this company you get treated like shit
nipawe Yes, I know!
Family Dollar is a shady company
I have posted the hobby lobby math test ✔
I posted my Hobby Lobby meth test
This is some homeless or beggers job, who tf is gonna break their backs for this bs
Yes too much work for drivers
Wait a minute you have to deliver the freight and unload it to? What kind of bullcrap is that? I bet you only get paid minimum wage to LOL If I was a truck driver I would only do drop and hook
I wonder if the driver is a convicted felon and maybe that's why he can't get a better paying job and has to stick with this Dollar Mart crap
I’m a store manager for family dollar in Miami Florida it didn’t use to be like this they would have the store associates get in the truck and unload but during that time other stores across the country were complaining that they weren’t getting all of there merchandise and they blamed other stores for stealing them
2k a week. You’re going to go to bed, tired. I ain’t even going to sugar coat it. You Will be Tired!
It may just be me and my personality, but I’ve never been one to care about the job.
Could tell me to clean up sh*t and I will. Just treat me good and pay me good. I don’t care
**And no, I’m not a convicted felon that’s forced to do this type of job. It was blessing in disguise for me. Getting paid 2k a week with little to no experience is a blessing**
Recently found out you could do this job and get paid triple the amount if you simply get your own truck
Sh*t sounds like the American Dream if you ask me. Work Hard and get paid more for it
**Working hard is subjective. Office workers would say they work hard, but others will say that all they do is sit down all day. But at the end of the day; if you get paid 200-300k then I don’t care what it is i do. It’s a blessing**
They must always be hiring for this. It's a No for my team.
Damn i was gonna start tomorrow fuck this shit😅😂😂
I'll unload it for 1,000
Eduardo Rivera you can actually make more than that if you're the driver of the semi truck
You'll unload it for $15 at this place.
@@cynthiasmith6465 $11 an hour at walmart and 2800 boxes at the same time
Got an email saying they pay 1k a day for one trailer, multiple stops. Do they let you bring a helper if it's your truck?
@@vinr6867 Yes, but know that a trailer may be missing the rollers.
I aint gonna do it!
Damn!!!! Oh damn!!!! 🤫🤐
Hey, my hometown company, Stoughton Trailers built the trailer. What a shit show to work at
Way too much work for drivers. Dollar General has them all on rolling carts ready to unload. Much more efficient
dont ever send me a box that is falling apart thats how accidents and spills happen that can endanger your saftey and health. i will bring you a new box to use..do not pass me those down the line.
Anyone watching this and just starting to unload Family Dollar trailers;
I am telling you and warning you,
Do Not Use product to hold up your rollers.
Those workers will start complaining
If they’re nice then they’ll ask you if you couldn’t do that, but from experience; they’ll most likely complain the entire time, lmao
And also;
Anytime this guy says; “it might happen”
Just know; that it always happens, so not only do you gotta be okay with a bit physical labor, you gotta be compassionate and understanding
Neither you or them want to be unloading that truck. It sucks for everybody, but working together will always make it go by better
1k a day for this much work??? No thanks
That is too much work for what they pay drivers.
Really? How much do they pay the drivers? Do you even know?
@@55fiddy5 ones thousand a day for owner if you’re only driver you make like 250 dll a day it’s depends on you company it’s a lot work
@@manuelgonzalez2602okay. I thought so
I’m commenting 3yrs later and comparing the wages
So looks like Owner Operators get paid 6k a week to do this job. I’ve never been one to care about the job. The pay just has to match it
So if the job sucks, the environment sucks, andddd the pay sucks…………then imma be leaving 😂😂😂
Tired watching him do it
This is the worst company to work for damnt

another thing that is a problem is the uboats used. rather than horizontal length on these carts, shorten that length and go vertical with a cart that has a step for stockers to get to the top shelves. the uboats are more useless than anything clogging pathways for customers etc. there clearly are no brains behind this like at walmart, kroger, meier etc
Do you think this account is a good idea? I also worked for Walmart so I know how the unloading stuff works but I've never unloaded one by myself. I'm still a new driver.
Mannnnn
Crazy Job... Don’t Do it
What do you do instead.any ideas?
I hated this account
Who in his right mind would sign up for this crap?
Me my checks be looking real good
It’s not as bad as they make it seem
I bet that is a shitty paying job.
No thanks!
Sounds like alot of BS Not the drivers job to unolad the trailer
