America's second NATIONAL ANTHEM!!!!!
Amen brother
as long as 'Free Bird' is the first one, it's all good...
It does make you want to stand up on your feet don’t it !!
Battle Hymn Of the Republic*
The anthem of the nation if you consider the defeated confederate nation your nation.
RIP Gary. The last of a legendary group.
Americans, you have given the world so much good music, which has influenced world music. You will never be thanked enough. God bless America! A fan from Italy.
thank you from hawaii rock on and god bless
We gave them their citizens :D
You know it's a good song when they're singing about Alabama and it's still an iconic song all the way across the ocean here in Australia.
Assuming you havent noticed the crowd . White ? W HY COULD THAT BE ? Think about that in the land you stole from the natives. Just saying .
You got that right!! From the USA New Mexico...dancin here with this Awesome song.
Have a friend from Mexico told me he grew upon Skynyrd down there just like we did.
@@vincentbrannelly8786 nice trolling dude, and an attempt to stir up an argument, this song was actually a song written AGAINST the racist segregation laws in Alabama at the time. Well see ya
@@K31swiss In TX yes
Even 50 years later, this song is still a classic.

Just can't beat Southern Rock like this. Absolutely love Lynyrd Skynyrd. This should be the new state song for the great state of ALABAMA!
i see you mr Gump
They should choose this for their state. I totally agree. Have traveled across the southern states and I loved it. These People are full of Soul and earned my Respect. The South isn‘t Dixie, but Dixie is aPart ofit✌️👍🙋🏻♂️
Fantastic! Always!
Even though they were from Jacksonville, FL.
@@michaelvollmer9491. Sorry but the South is Dixie.
Fantastic , !!! Saw them years ago (all of the original group)
Still as good after all these years .
I JUST SEEN BOCEPUS AKA HANK WILLIAMS JR UP ON STAGE WITH SKYNARD I LOVE THIS BAND THEIR LEGENDS !!!!!
@Coco Peacock Naw, we forgot. He saw Bocephus. This was performed in New Jersey. One of the original guitarist and piano player survived. Both have crossed over so, none of these are the originals but they keep the memory alive and sound like if it was the originals. Jonnie does his best for his brother.
Long time Skynyrd fan, and thank you to earMusic for sharing this. This was great and thank you..
You know how iconic you gotta be to have Hank Williams Jr singing one of your songs with you on stage
Deadman song but live forever.......awesome. Who still listen this song ? The awesome Ronnie van Zant, he predicted he would die young and it happened. Speechless. RIP brother Ronnie Van Zant.
Theres just something about southern rock that gives a off calming mood
I listen to this song four times a week. What a great group of artists!

george tsipouras They love Trump!
@@fredmogers5738 Do they? I hate Trump. But even if that's the case, then we have different opinions about politics, but I still like their music.
Those two female backing singers are so good they could put out their own CD their voices are that good, the band rocks! Missed them when they came to New Zealand, I was busy in hospital in a coma from a brain aneurism! When I came out of my coma, I got straight back and listened to these guys! I was my version of rehabilitation, it worked!
That’s so good to hear
Wish you great health 👍

How Good was LS. Ed King left and Steve Gaines joined. WOW ua-cam.com/video/6GxWmSVv-cY/v-deo.html
Great seeing HANK JR. in that video.
Very few songs from current artists that bring such energy. They are outstanding in person.
I'm Scottish and this is one of my favourite songs 🇺🇲
There are no words to describe how great this song is.
Still to this day and all these years later that opening guitar makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand to attention absolute class :)
Same with me, which is weird because I live in UB, Mongolia.
Ed King from Strawberry Alarm Clock came up with that. He was great.
If you believe it's time for the south to rise again where's the confederate flag like the real Skynard
One of the most recognizable songs ever!!!My southern greetings from Greece!
You can easily see how everyone on stage is having a GREAT time sharing the LOVE with their audience while playing one of the most iconic rock 'n roll classics ever recorded. This is the beauty of what LIVE MUSIC is all about people!
Saw them with the winter brothers concert started at 7 pm didn't end till 2 am
From a time of real musicians, real rock, real bands.
You got that right ...... "FROM a time"....
True so true - glad I was young than and not now-a-days - Thank you God in Heaven!
Many of the rock musicians of the time had classical training, such as Freddy Mercury. They worked hard to conceal their roots from their fans. Classical training and long wigs over short hair. ZZ Top was unrecognizable without their dreadlock caps! KISS had their makeup, etc.
These guys used to play with the Doobie Brothers at a tiny venue in Clear Lake CA.Saw them there twice. My aspiring son and his buddies learned a little bit about rock and roll there ! One Great Big Party!! Thanks for the memories! There will never be another band like them.
Hack, I’m from Australia and I well up with Southern Pride when I hear this song. Best “back at ya” song ever written.
Thank you mr Ed king for one of the most recognized guitar licks EVER...R.I.P....Mr Ed King
when i was a kid in the early 80s i went to a small christian camp in malaga nj. ed king was affiliated with the camp somehow and would come and talk to us about music, jesus, and the evils of the rock n roll lifestyle. i was a pre teen and teenager those few summers and could never figure out what was so bad about all the partying and groupies. we were in awe of him and he was really cool to all of us kids.
