Benefits of QUITTING COFFEE! And Side Effects After 30 Days

- Hey friends! I quit coffee for 30 days - and ongoing - and want to let you know how it's going. Here is my video highlighting my journey, the benefits of quitting coffee, and some tips on how to properly source coffee if you want to continue this habit!
Some interesting facts about coffee: Coffee has a number of health benefits, but not all brands are created equal. Over 97% of the world’s coffee is made from commercial coffee beans, a commodity crop grown to maximize yield, sprayed with pesticides, and stored in a way that encourages mold growth. A brand that I have heard good things about is called Biodynamic Coffee. This company sources the coffee beans from farms that practice Regenerative & Biodynamic farming practices. Far surpassing Organic practices, Regenerative & Biodynamic farming not only yields healthier plants for us to eat without toxic chemicals, but actually heals the soil and climate! This brand is also lab tested to be free of mold and heavy metals!

I have one kick-ass bullet coffee in the morning. Every 3 months or so I kick the coffee for 1-2 wk or so and reset. The best is the first cup back!! BAM!!!
Hahaha this is so true!
I will do similar and get a rush that literally gets me high
my skin is glowing after I quit coffee 😀✨
I very much agree with this video. I was in a high stress job and drank numerous cups of coffee a day. I started getting used to caffeine and didn't get the buzz anymore. My job stressed me out and I decided to quit coffee. I got a really bad headache and didn't feel right for a couple of days. I began to relax and sleep better. My digestion improved. I had to deal with highly caffeinated co-workers while I was mellow and waking up slowly. After a year or so, I started drinking tea. I particularly liked fermented pu'erh tea and matcha. I think the quality of my life and health has improved without coffee and I am skeptical of reports of health claims for this drink. It BS in my book.
I woke up early once again. And when you said you'd wake up early as well - too early so as to just drink coffee with your eyes half-shut, my mind blew away. That's me! Is that my problem with sleep? I'm waking up too early just because my carb-free body wants coffee!? So as I was starting my first cup of coffee this morning at 2 AM with this video, I only got a few sips in when I DUMPED MY COFFEE OUT! I switched my coffee with a caffeine free "roasted herbal tea." Today is day 1. We got this! Thanks!
This year I am on a mission to get well, reverse my hashimoto's thyroid problem and rid of chronic pain. So far i have given up alcohol from being a 3 drinks a night person. Went keto for 3 months now carnivore for 2 months. Coffee is the last frontier I need to tackle so here i am on day 2 I am weaning myself off a 6 cup a day habit with half decaf twice per day. I have drank coffee for about 40 years. I have always struggled with muscle and joint pain and never thought coffee would be the culprit until I done some research. Addiction is blind.
Just wow! You are on the money and we are super proud of you. Its very humbling and challenging to accept something you have been doin for a long time and be willing to let it go. You seem like a very strong will individual and I know you are on your way to feeling amazing so hang in there, we are here with you and supporting you in any way we can! It won't be easy but believe me once you give up the caffeine and go through it all, there is a massive light at the end of tunnel just waiting to reward your hard work so don't give up and sending you lots of strength, love and power to accomplish all your goals! Addiction is blind indeed but not anymore for you!
This is awesome! I quit smoking in January, and about 40 days in, I had the intuition (and obviously, psychic & metabolic stamina from quitting smoking) to quit coffee - 😳 OMG! It’s been revolutionary all the benefits from the coffee-quit! More energy etc than I ever couldn’t imagine! 🙏🙏🙏
Congrats to you that’s HUGE!!!
@@ancestralhealing yea I’m certainly enjoying it! 🙏🙏😊😊
How did you quit smoking? Cold turkey?
@@najan945 cold Turkey with a bit of meditation & journaling every day for at least 30 days, also watched many Gabor Maté videos on addiction and used a camphor spritz to apply to my neck so I could get a “intense sensation” whenever the cravings got noticeable
the way i quit was instead of trying to block out the craving feeling (which always results in you smoking again) I focused all of my attention on it. I let myself fully experience the crave. You soon realise that the feeling starts to decrease after about 30 seconds - 1 minute. You also teach yourself that you can handle feeling uncomfortable. Its basically doing a mindfullness meditation on your emotions.. After a few days the craving goes away and you're just left with behavioural addictions. The best way to get over those is to replace the identity of a smoker with someone who exercises. Start doing cardio. Every day. First thing in the morning and in the evening if possible, but first thing in the morning is key. Its rough initially but you'll progress quickly.@@najan945
So when i quit coffee:
Day 1 just fine
Day 2 headache and fell asleep late afternoon couldnt stay awake
Day 3 slept like a baby didnt even miss it
Not sleeping well was the motivation. Coffee was one plant i was willing to keep consuming, but i value my sleep. Funny thing is, my sleep became disturbed when i went carnivore. Cutting the coffee was helpful
There you go! Minor tweaks and we make progress. Congrats on kicking the coffee habit.
There was a time, in my childhood, when even cigarettes were a normalized addiction. There were no rules about smoking in public and there was no way you could complain if you were downwind of someone else's smoke. I remember when they first put the warning labels on cigs.
The people saying that coffee is totally benign remind me of those tobacco executives who raised their right hands and swore in front of the US Congress that cigs were harmless.
BTW, I really like your place, all the natural wood and open beams. Nice.
Sooo true…when you tell people now that coffee isn’t all it’s cracked out to be and that it could potentially be harmful, they look at you like you’re crazy.
@@ancestralhealing I just don't like giving any substance that kind of power over my life, my mood, sleep, energy. I know some people who can be downright dangerous if you get between them and their coffee fix in the morning.
When I see peoples waiting 20 minutes at the drive tru to get a coffee, quite obvious it’s a drug
@@franklinbittner4683 ~ Ya think they would make it at home ... 🏡 ☕
I miss those days. Normal times.
I make my own bone broth and a nice warm cup of that in the morning is a nice replacement for a cup of hot coffee. It is warm, soothing & so much more beneficial.
That’s a fantastic replacement. Best thing to nourish yourself with in the morning.
What worked for me when I quit, I was drinking 4 cups every day. And yes, I've tried quitting cold turkey! But I found that by reducing my coffee intake by 1/2 cup a week would eliminate the headaches, and by the time I was down to a cup, I just quit. Sure it takes several weeks to do this, but unless you are a fan of caffeine withdrawals, this is recommended to ease you into your goal.
This is for anyone who may read my comment. For me I can get over caffeine withdrawal with intense cardio daily for like four days. I’m going to try again
I drink Lifeboost coffee its organic and mold free. I am trying to quit also and I am down to 2 scoops of cafeine mixed with 4 of decaf . 1 pot a day. I am weaning my self off of it because I can't stand the headaches. This coffee is too expensive for me also to keep buying. I quit sugar in June. Then went Keto. Then quit smoking in September. Went Carnivore in February. Now hopefully I am done with coffee in March. I Feel so good😊💕
Love to hear this! You’re well on your way.
Caffeine restricts blood flow to your brain (which is why is recommended for headaches). Once you’ve been using it habitually, blood flow is permanently restricted. The headache is from getting used to having more blood in your brain. It’s a good thing and the reason your brain functions better. I’ve been coffee free over a year. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever quit! Over two weeks before I started enjoying the benefits. I certainly won’t go back.
Wooow I did not know this.
@@ancestralhealing still off caffeine?
How does that make any sense , restricting blood flow helping headaches ?
@@iamthefiremanjj have you ever had a pounding headache where your pulse is like a hammer pounding at the inside of your skull?
@@hanskazan7403 Still off caffeine!
I'm on this journey with you. I quit drinking coffee in a ritualistic way on February 26, 2022. It has been a little difficult but I'm looking forward to the benefits of not being caffeine dependent. 🥰
Yayyy! I hope it’s still going well for you and that you’re pushing through!
Thank you! It's going great! I used to be vegan for 7 years 😵 and my health suffered greatly because of that. But since finding your channel and eating an animal based diet I have never felt better. Thank you for these videos you make. 🥰
Much respect for your success with putting down the "stain". I found that a hot mug of spring water is a pleasing substitute for the cozy aspect of warm beverage drinking. I fill a large thermos every morning so that I can have a cup whenever throughout the day.
Anything we can do to make the process easier. I find tea is not so bad either.
I love drinking hot water! I thought I was the only weird one 🤣
@@ancestralhealing I don't know if you now but tea is much higher in oxalates than coffee. I too am giving up coffee and I look forward to either hot water with a slice of lemon or bone broth. But mostly I drink hot filtered water. Occasionally I have chamomile tea.
I didn't start drinking coffee till my 50s! It used to give me a headache and brain fog. After changing to a sugar free whole food diet that stopped. Now I drink it for the health benifits, a maximum 2 cups in a day but not every day.
I have been thinking of cutting out coffee for awhile but like you described - it has a special place. So you have inspired me to take steps - first cut back to one cup a day, then wean off of it completely. It will be good to take note of the changes. You did a great job of sharing your experience and to be encouraging.
I get a 3 day headache when I quit coffee. 😬
Me too
Thank you so much for sharing this. I am allergic to mold and it bothers me that I am addicted to the caffeine. There are times I wake up ahead of time and first thing I go for is the coffee to help me fully wake up. I never thought of it as withdrawal symptom!
You’re very welcome. I have to spread the message!
Holy crap….it sounded like you were describing me. I wake at 430 in the morning regularly and grab some coffee and my Copenhagen, I chew tobacco, get my fix and back to bed I go. Side affects the same. I have been contemplating this myself. Hate being dependent on things. Thanks for the content! Keep it up.
We’re all reflections of each other! You got this, you can do whatever you put your mind to. Thanks for your support🙏🏽
I quit the habit sort of. When I ran out I chose not to buy. Have the instant but it taste terrible. Two sips is all I can do. The habit is more psychological and my bloat in my stomach is lessening.
I cant quit coffee anymore. did it for over a year, i felt no different. I love the taste of my coffee protein shakes and occasional cup of coffee
Super interesting that you felt no different. How cool. I do too😆
For personal reasons that have to do with a childhood of control, I will never give up coffee. It's the one vice I have and it's mine all mine. Lol but I admire those of you willing to give it up.
Thank you for sharing. How has your abstinence of coffee goes so far?
The Bean of life. All praise to The Bean.
I quit cigs 9 years ago and coffee 10 days ago. I have had no desire for either since then, so it was relatively easy as my body was ready to quit then as compared to previous attempts to quit.
Good for you! You’ve been through this before.
I feel like eating carnivore helps all the other habits just naturally fall away
Coffee withdrawal headaches are the worst 😣The comment about not understanding our relationship with coffee until you try give it up, also applies to other addictions I think. Certainly when I gave up drinking, I suddenly became aware of my triggers and patterns around drinking, etc
Oh for sure. When you give up anything that you’re addicted to.. it really brings things to light and you’re kind of faced to deal with it head first
this makes me like you more knowing you were addicted to cigs and coffee. I quit cigs a long time ago. I think it is time to quit coffee too. Thanks for vid!
Everytime I want to quit coffee I drink more of it :-) It's always, I will drink my coffee and after I will do what I have to do. Your video makes me think that it would probably be good for me to quit coffee for 30 days and see if there is an impact on my health. Sometimes, when I drink my coffee mindfully I realize that the taste is not that great but it's the idea that I like. Thanks for sharing this!
Haha you read my mind. I often drink coffee and I think to myself “ufff this doesn’t even taste good..But it feels good so it’s ok”. Good luck on your journey!
I share your sentiments and have the same experience.
Excellent video my friend! I am the same as you with the coffee. Thank you for the great info. and resources!
I've done it before quit for 30 days or more. I now only drink it during the winter months occasionally and in the spring through summer.
Love that. Seasonal coffee drinker.
Hi I'm Margaret I'm a coffee addict.
IMHO quit coffee is the hardest diet change. I've done it a few times for a month just to prove myself I can do it and coffee doesn't rule my life, but I do. but if that was a truth I would have quit for good not just for a month. I still doe a coffee one-month detox, but I guess I accepted the fact that coffee is my vice. I justify it by buying organic fair trade once source coffee beans. Still better than ice cream lol.
It’s a tough one to kick but I love that you prioritize sourcing quality beans! Good for you.
My grandmother always said she wouldn't eat blue cheese because it gave her unpleasantly vivid dreams. I like blue cheese, and never noticed this, but a year ago I ate a ridiculous amount and felt oddly sick for a week or more, and haven't tasted it since. You may be on to something with the whole mold thing. Want to do a video on it?
I’d love to do a video on mold. It’s been so relevant in my lifetime this year. Crazy story about the blue cheese!!!!
What’s funny is, I told myself today I have to quit coffee. I picked up my shopping list that I had all made out, and deleted all the coffee creamers all my coffee, and anything that had anything to do with coffee. And I looked at the bottom of the list at the total and I saved over $60 lol and then I got on UA-cam and clicked on your video and it was about quitting coffee I had no idea I wasn’t looking for any videos on quitting coffee. I just thought that was funny. As a grandma I have quit coffee many times in my life and it really didn’t bother me that much but like you, on a special occasion like if I’m out with friends or something I will have a cuppa coffee but then I don’t feel the need to pick it up again until the next special occasion. And I really really love coffee lol all the different flavored creams all the different kinds of coffee I just love it but I heard it can do some really bad things to us and on my quest for health I feel the need to give it up again. Plus $60? I can go buy an outfit now lol
I got food poisoning first week of January.
I felt horrible.
Doctor prescribed me pills for nausea and diarrhea.
I used the opportunity to go carnivore and quit coffee, as the symptoms I was having and was medicated for lessened, this helped me with that too.
It's March, I still crash, but when I sleep, I sleep deeper, and I am far less anxious.
Cortisol is a stress hormone, coffee messes it up... Getting back to normal slowly
Love to hear this. You are on your way!
This was me with energy drinks. I stopped the energy drinks everyday , because I started noticing bad outcomes for me with it. Really bad crashes , not feeling good. And I wasnt drinking your monsters or red bulls. I opted for the "Healthier " options, like C4 an celcius. I started having coffee now , it doesn't make me feel ugly. Atleast not yet, but will hopefully try not to become dependent on it. Thanks for the video an honesty.
PS : just to add aswell, i was a heavy heavy drinker for half of my life. And those withdrawals are insane. I no longer drink.
this is one cool kid (young woman) I'm old, so I call everyone kid. I wish my daughter would listen to her.
_"The older I get, the younger you look ."_ 😚🍃
Today is day 31 for me with no coffee, the first couple of days were "ruff" I made it through. I couldn't afford coffee anymore. So I found a herbal coffee that has no coffee in it and a tea as well with no tea in it. All herbs. It works good for me.
Awesome hearing that! Hope it’s still going well for you.
@@ancestralhealing It is I have a cup of herbal coffee which has no coffee or caffeine in it, just herbs. It taste like coffee and then I have herbal tea. Today is day 36. I went out Thursday to go groceries since and I had so much energy and just had water that day. It's going well and never thought I wouldn't need coffee in my life, out of all the years I had coffee. I started drinking coffee in 1995. That was a lot of caffeine stored in my body. Glad it's out now. Take care you meathead.
I am quitting coffee and have been without for nearly 2 weeks. Some days I feel better, today is bad. My energy dropped suddenly and I feel intense craving for something and I don't understand what it is. Hopefully these energy spikes and cravings stop soon. My skin is getting better. I did not expect it happen in a few weeks already.
I gave up coffee on the carnivore diet over a year ago. Partly vanity: coffee stains the teeth. I miss the taste, but not the effects.
Good for you!
Been there, done that. Give my one cup of coffee a day. Thanks.
Do what you gotta do!
How funny that I got a Tim Hortons commercial while watching. I needed to make some changes too concerning caffein.
Haha they’re listening! Good luck to you Karen!
right,it depends a lot on the climate where the beans are grown.probably buy coffe whichpays the workers fair prizes.
I wrote have to quit my morning coffee to competely get off sugar bc I have to have at least a little sugar with my cream and coffee. But when I do that it completely stops my fat burning. They only thing I lost really well was the month or so I skipped coffee and drank hot tea with no sugar.
When I was your age cigarettes and coffee went hand in hand for me. When I quit smoking 20 years ago I had to stop drinking coffee for months, until I lost the urge to smoke.
Good luck to you Dave!
45 days for me , I tried to bring back coffee and the first day is amazing but two in a row and I have anxiety and sleepless nights . Maybe one every two weeks for me
Im on day6 no caffe, my sleep is worse, why? I sleept better when drank 5+ cups daily. Will it pass or?
For me it was pre-workout. Started out just a few days a week before the gym, then it became most days, then to the point I couldn't go without it... Then to the point I was dry scooping it in the car for long car drives. I've been off it over a month now, took a few weeks to not have that "pull" to it anymore. Feel so much better now. May or may not go back to it at some point if I feel I can control myself
👋 HI 👋 you look great 👍 thank you for your valuable information 😊 however I love ❤ coffee ☕
My pleasure!
Hey cutie. It's my 2nd full month since quitting coffee. Previously I had it form time to time half a year. I have to say when i was drinking it 1-2 a week I was still getting weary or drowsy some time after or on other days. It took me two weeks at least to get rid of this effect.
Glad you’ve made it through the hard part!
Spot on
Woohoo!
Caffeine really depends on everyone. Some will consider it essential, others might see it as an addictive product. I think that it is a substance we may rely too much on while beeing sleepy. There are alternatives for this "sleepy" state. For those who hesitate, I shared my experience about completely stopping coffee over the last 2 years
Super interested to see your video!
Thank u to you and Danny
Thank you for your support!
WONDERFUL.
Thank you!
I drink 3 to 5 cups a day. I'm a trucker and tried giving it up. NO way!! I start falling asleep on the road,
It's definitely a drug, a very strong one. Still trying to kick the habit.
started with 1/2 coffee 1/2 teeccino herbal coffee, worked down to today is 1/2 decaf and 1/2 Teeccino - no headache but I do feel weird, brain fogging
~ The caffeine can be addictive. Too much is not good for me. I enjoy decaffeinated. I have a " coffee ceremony " with my vintage Pyrex Flameware glass percolator. Heavy cream 😋👌 Old school style ...
I began Yoga in 2000 and the headaches went away. I felt it had to be from improved vascular function.
Interesting !
I've quit caffeine now, but when I was using it I wouldn't get as much anxiety from energy drinks as from coffee. You think it's because of the mold?
Andrew Huberman has a great video out about coffee / caffeine.
Thanks for watching and the info, wishing you a beautiful day!
I don't get people's coffee addictions. I drink instant coffee mostly because it's so easy to make a cup. No waiting around like with tea or "normal" coffee. If I had to wait for the coffee to brew, I wouldn't drink it. Then I'd only drink tea. Black coffee is nothing to me, it needs some thick cream which then makes it taste quite nice.
Try to quit and you’ll see where the addiction part comes in 😆😩
@@ancestralhealing I already tried that for months without any withdrawal symptoms. I guess it's like how some people manage to take heroin on the weekends and then function just fine at an office job the rest of the week, while others get hopelessly addicted right from the start. To me, coffee and tea are no more addictive than hot chocolate. Some people also stop smoking with no issues whatsoever, so I don't see how my lack of coffee addiction should be hard to believe. Same with sugar. Some people never get off it while others easily quit it for good.
I have those skin spots too. Also my tongue gets white. Did quoting coffee clear your skin fungus?
Also thanks for the info.
Is Biodynamic Coffee a brand in the US....Is that the company name? I will search them on the web, and see if they distribute in Australia....Thanks for the video....for me I agree most of the attraction for coffee in the morning is the preparation ritual and then "Me Time", sipping a hot beverage.
I guess I feel grateful because coffee has never had any effect on my body, so I can take it or leave it anytime. Is this an anomaly? I was always just a social coffee drinker, but over the past several months I started drinking buttered coffee every morning when I was doing keto and intermittent fasting. The fats would sustain me until dinner, and I did love the creamy warm drink.. But I just learned that coffee is high in histamines, and it appears that I have a histamine intolerance (my “histamine bucket” is full). So I just stopped drinking it cold turkey last week. I’ve had no “withdrawal” symptoms and my energy levels are no different. So it’s like I was never even drinking it. It also seems to put me to sleep when I try to use it to stay awake on long drives. Weird. Anybody else have these reactions, or I should say non-reactions, to coffee?
You'll be hearing from my attorneys.
As I’m watching this, I’m like ya ok I’ll start off with decaf before I go cold turkey. Goes on about decaf being bad 😭
Haha so sorry
I've been drinking a full of of coffee everyday for the past 20 or 30 years. It's been so long I can't remember
i've tried extended fasting and usually one cup is ok but two and i will crash and feel weak and tired and end up breaking my fast. so no more coffee when i'm fasting. not even one.
Yesss it’s tough to fast and drink coffee. I struggled with that too. Major crashes.
I am watching this after filling my 16oz mug for the second time this morning.
Cheers to you
Coffee is a toxic acidic stimulant. A table spoon of pure caffeine is lethal. Coffee reduces the body’s ph because it’s acid. It also tastes amazing. The funny thing is how the entire world won’t call it a drug but everyone is on it.
So much info that we don’t know! Until we do some digging
Anything in it's fully concentrated form can be lethal. Sodium can be lethal in excess doses and so can Potassium and other natural minerals and vitamins. But you're right it is 100% a drug that most people are dependant on.
Coffee and tea are hormone disruptors. You’d lose some strands of hair. Anyways, have ye tried raw cacao as substitute?
Cut the grounds in half and then make half of that amount out of Swiss water processed de-caf. I did this and what a difference it made. What's the point of "living" if I can't have coffee? Haha!
So what do you drink on a daily basis?
I quit coffee the love of my life
01/20/2022 no coffee after that.
Did you cut down at first or did you just go cold turkey? I am currently cutting myself down to 2 cups a day. And then I plan on quitting I feel like I won’t have as bad of a headache if I cut down first. I’ve been drinking 4 to 6 cups a day for years.
i keep going back to it....... its seriously hard. ive tried like 15 times allready and never made it past 14 days jesus christ
One day🙏🏽
Hey Patra, what do you think of drinking hot water with panko (fried pork rind), I think panko is typically used as a breading.
Ahhh I don’t know about that. I don’t think that’d be too yummy it’d be like wet, soggy bread crumbs. Maybe a chicken broth instead would taste better as a drink!
I quit coffee many years ago cold turkey. I've always wondered why health experts still say coffee is basically a health food, but only have 1 o2 a day. It's a drug like anything else that is addictive so how can it also be a healthy substance? I don't understand that one.
They are either addicted themselves or are afraid of being dumped by their followers who are addicted.
Good point
@@ancestralhealing Thank you for taking a stand on this. have you seen the YT channel of Dr. Anthony Chaffee? He is a carnivore and also very against coffee. He's from the US but lives in Australia.

I quit smoking Jan 1 and before April I will quit coffee also just because I’m addict and want to be free and will see if I decide to go back sometimes but never I will go back full time and I’m going almost carnivore now also and I started to train again, let’s be ready…..
All the best to you! Free yourself from your addictions you can do it!
I was wondering if you had any side effects from drinking iced black coffee. I'm fasting now but have been doing the carnivore diet for about 2 weeks and sometimes get one from McDonald's and never get any side effects. Only hot coffee does that.
Not that I know of but I did hear from @strong.sistas on Instagram that they wait for their coffee to cool down a bit before drinking it. I guess when it’s super hot it can have some negative side effects.
I just realized my headaches must be from quitting tea. I was a big tea drinker.
Switch to coffee 😘👌
Yeah mold in coffee is a thing I had never heard of until I saw a video which I believe is from Paul Saladino. Bulletproof coffee mentions something on its label about their process I believe that talks about mold, sorry can’t remember exactly what, but I stopped buying them cause to expensive.
Hubby and I got back on the Carnivore diet this past Monday and this time around no coffee to see if it helps with our sleeping at night. We were doing coffee 1-2 times a day from Starbucks and I think for me it was more the sugar in the white chocolate mocha that I wanted idk. But for more coffee was the carrier for my heavy cream 😬 I never actually finished a whole cup
Good luck to you guys, it’s good you’re doing it together 🤙🏽

yes most coffee is moldy, coffee is also the heaviest sprayed(with chemicals) crop that any other grown product, just what people need, haha.
We probably get addicted to the stress response from the glyphosate lol
So terrible :(
Oh boy
What happens to the mold when they roast the beans?
The mold usually grows after the roasting.
What Robin said
I drink it with two ghee tsp
Nice I used to add butter and an egg yolk
Hello, what do you think about décaféinated coffee ? Thats what i drink bécause i lové the taste and smell so much

Hey guys is anybody able to help?
So I have introduced the carnivore diet ro my girlfriend and she has been eating this way for just a little over 30 days now. Before this her diet consisted of green vegetables and carrots and for breakfast everyday she ate 30g of oats with blueberrys for 12 years straight without skipping a beat.
Now, for the past 10 or 12 years she has been suffering from constipation or some kind of blockage? (she doesn't get the urge to go number two and she can't go to the bathroom or when she does it's very very minimal and describes it as a few hard pebbles, the longest she went without pooping was 6 weeks)
It's been over 30 days eating carnivore now and she decided to get an enima to get some short term relief.
She couldn't go on feeling incredibly blocked up and feeling emense sharp pains throughout her abdominal.
After her enima she said she felt so much better and lighter and she almost cried because she didn't feel blocked anymore and was happy about that.
It's been a week now since her enima and she is starting to feel blocked up again like food is building up in her and she cannot poop and she is not getting any urges still. She says mentally she feels clear but she has low energy and her bells are not working and she feels blocked.
We are hoping this diet is the right path for her and that it will fix her problem, her tongue is now turning a brown colour and we are getting a bit worried about it all.
Ive watched alot of these videos and have been trying to get to the cause of this with her
Please is anybody able to help us, is there anything we are missing that could help? We really need to get ro the bottom of this
She is eating grass fed beef, cooking with tallo, eating about 4 eggs a day, eating alot of bacon and grass fed beef mince, she has cooked a chicken feet broth and adds extra neef fat sometimes with her meals.
I had a hunch it was the oats everyday and the vegetable fibre that was blocking her, I am still hoping this is the case but why is she not getting urges still? And why has her tongue turned a brown colour?
Please help,
Thankyou for reading
This sounds like a problem with her bowels and the biome. She needs to take probiotics and prebiotics to put back the good bacteria. Use unpasteurized diary the fattest you can get - creme fraiche, kefir, yogurt, fat dry cheese or feta cheese. Also try adding 1-2 tbsp of deactivated yeast flakes to your meals! Make sure it’s deactivated and unfortified.
Also it seems she isn’t getting enough FATS! Use butter and add it to everything she eats, also eat the fattest cuts you can get. Normally too much fat will lead naturally to diarrhea;) so that’s the most natural remedy for constipation there is. Try cutting down protein and add fat
Legend, thank you for taking the time to reply, I will send this to her and no doubt she will take the advice 👍
@@jesselahood3912 no problem! We are all in this together and the ultimate goal is to get better healthier and eat as best as possible the stuff we can afford! Best regards, Dana ( Marius’ wife- using his account as i don’t have one 😆)
Btw with keto she should get most calories from fat then protein. So she should eat plenty of fat… butter, pork rinds, fat cuts of meat… the ratio for fat should be over 50 up to 70% off all the food
Replied under another video!
You could be an advert for the beauty benefits of carnivore
That’s too sweet Charles. Thank you.
But... but... but... it's impossible to quit coffee ☕️ for 30 days! 😶
It is freaking hard. For sure.
What about drinking cocoa?
Like hot chocolate? Or real cacao?
No way could I stop coffee ☕.
As young as you are, you still say you’ve been drinking coffee for many many years! 😂😂😂
Hahaha it feels like a looooong time
Hi young lady; is simply one of our "legal", CNS promoting stimulants, with "soon-to-occur" there after effects - "let-down-effects". Caffeine, and therefore coffee,...is a legal drug. Everyone has a reaction to caffeine. Period.
You’re right!
Coffee makes me feel like death
I don't even understand this. 1 or 2 cups. 1 or 2 pots. where is the study that says any of it is a danger zone?. here is what I do about coffee. I drink as much as I want of it when ever I want it. and I only eat meat. I am not watching the rest of this. I stopped it at 2:49 This video is not for me, must be for some folks that are allergic or have some sort deprivation fetish.
It’s ok Larry! Enjoy your coffee🙏🏽
@@ancestralhealing I don't ever dislike the videos., LOL I like the recipe ones best though. :0)
Woah, you think now you can have just one cup of coffee and not have another for a month? Those words sound like an alcoholic’s. Sometimes you might, but eventually you’ll fall back into it.
I do feel like an addict when it comes to coffee. You never know how it’s going to turn out. I like to think I’ve got my addiction under control but only time will tell.
@@ancestralhealing bless you on that journey. I can’t even do chocolate because of the caffeine in it. Pulls me right back in.
No no no no dammit no I won’t do it, I quit cigarettes, weed, beer & sex in the last two years well maybe not sex, lol, don’t take away my precious coffee I’ll have no reason to continue on, lol, but I drink it clean no sugar or creams just black espresso
You gotta live a little!
