This is great. I will be using this to help coach both galloping and penultimate. I've never seen someone use the little hurdle to force it. How have I never seen this?
I only can jump really 4ft cause they don’t teach us positions or anything they just say jump on the line and don’t put your hand behind you. So I have a track meet later so I’m practicing the first one.
I just started the long jump and during my first meet, I jumped 13 ft. My coach tells me that I don't have a pop and it just looks like I'm doing a normal step when I jump off the board. Is there any drills to help improve explosiveness and power?
I've just realized this last week, I get decently far without the penultimate step (my current pr is 18' 7") but I don't pop up, so I've been trying to figure out how to actually implement it in my run up, cause I think I could get at least 20' if I do get it right, only thing that sucks is the coaches don't help us with jumping so we have to kinda teach ourselves. Some of the guys naturally have good technique, and I have naturally good hops, but struggle to apply it with my technique

Joyce Lu single leg bounding/skipping helped for my long jumper

This is triple jump not long jump
