I just bought a 18 year old 19' deck boat . It's in fairly good shape . Obviously has oxidation and a few nicks & scrapes in the gelcoat . I think for the most part the hull only needs wet sanding and buffing ... my question is : what's your advice on filling the deeper gelcoat scrapes? without taking on a full boat restoration and for it to not look like a diy mess.. As you can tell I don't know much about boats . This was only a purchase & project to spend more time with my daughter . I apologize if you've already made a video on this topic .
Well since your not a professional, it will look like a diy job. But that’s ok!! For the deeper scratch’s please watch my part two of my sunfish sailboat restoration where inshore how to make thickened gelcoat kind of like a patch you could sand and buff out. If you’d like further help or in person guidance you can email me and we can set up a consultation!
Great video ! I'm a avid cornhole player & I've been wanting to buy one of these to practice in. But not sure if the Hassel & cost is worth it lol Thanks for making this video Some great insight for me.
It is not the pitch model. It’s been about a year since I put it up and it’s still there, no issues with the cover. The door has some issues but they were all caused by me.
I mean is this the best usage of your time? Arguing on UA-cam? Making ridiculous comments that don’t benefit anyone? What would you like me to do? Make a special video for you denouncing all 10,000$ structures with any type of non wood covering? Or perhaps you’d like me to delete this video for false advertising? What can I do to make your miserable life a little better?
@@HoldFastMarine .. wow you’re a nice guy. Believe me my life is far from miserable. Simply commenting on a UA-cam video in the comments, what a concept. You are fragile and not cut out for this.
Not fragile at all. Just using you to influence the algorithm. I’ve been doing this a LONG time. I have several UA-cam pages, and I KNOW The more you comment and interact the more UA-cam shows the videos to other people. So by all means keep commenting!!!
Sure just email me your credit card number and I’ll totally buy one. Regardless I already installed a door. Framed out a nice wall and it’s all good now. Thanks for watching!
@@HoldFastMarine I'm helping my brother out right now spec'ing-out a 40L x 14W x 17H barn roof-style ShelterTech to store his RV in. I figured the ultimate would be to drive it in through the back and pull it out the front so, two doors. Did you ever get answer from them on that?
Possibly, however a shelter logic is considered a temporary building and therefor does not fall into tax brackets or other town laws. Which building did you put up?
@@HoldFastMarine in my area steel carports don't require any permits or anything of that nature. But i live no shit like 15 miles from anything including my closest neighbor. I chose a versatube 3 sided carport, and framed the front in myself and later on poured a pad in it I had a cheap 10x17 harbor freight tarp shed frame that i covered in cheap 28ga? Galvanized steel 8's and 12's overlapping. On a framed out floor about 4-5 years ago ive seen over a foot of snow slide off of it in the winter. I suggest if you can get away with it, pour a pad in the middle, frame the ends and cover it in steel

I had to delete the first one for some bull shit copyright crap from a bogus music creator. I have a license and everything. But they wanted the video pulled.
You better get ready to cover that thing with some Roofing metal if you want any longevity out of it
Going on a year now with zero issues
@@HoldFastMarine mine only lasted one year then blew off

How is this holding up , is it rated for snow load ?
Still up. No leaks! Tons of snow on it zero issues
hello , did you need a permit for your structure? i like to like one of my property
No permit needed where I live. You should contact your town and ask them.
Great video !

Some great insight for me.
Probably not worth the hassle just for cornhole.
Question, what about a moisture barrier? I have 2 of these type of sheds and moisture is an issue.
I’m having issues with condensation dripping. I have a moisture barrier under the large stone. Don’t know how to fix it.
After a year, was it worth it how long does the cover last.
Absolutely worth it. I have one small hole and a slight tear in the door but it’s holding up well. Only issue is the condensation inside.
Is this the sheltercoat pitch model? I'm looking into getting one. Would love to ask a few questions. Great video.

@HoldFastMarine sorry. I didn't mean pitch model. The sheltercoat peak model, is what I meant. Is it that model?
You can buy the door for the back from shelterlogic.
I have a hard time calling this a building. Tent. Nice work on the stone base though.
Ok… yet it is a building. But thanks for the comment.
@@HoldFastMarine … cool so next time I go camping I’ll set up my building. 👍

DO you have a link to this shelter logic building ? Thanks for sharing the video.
Here is the link to the model of the building. You will have to enter the size you want.

More about the construction and less complaining would be appreciated.
😂 that’s what you decided to comment. You’re such a nice person…….. and you’re complaining about my complaining…. GTFO
Cheaper to just buy a steel building

I only wasted 10 mins on this whiny video. 😊
