Thanks for posting. I'm considering a CX5, and I always like to make sure the engineers didn't make oil changes unnecessarily difficult in the vehicle. Don't like having to remove a cover, but I like that they did put a little access hatch on it.
FUMOTO USA looking at the Fumoto valve she used, she didn’t need an adaptor, I was just recently on your site and it said, I needed an ADP 106 adaptor, but she doesn’t have one. Can you tell me which valve I need to purchase for my Mazda CX-5, I want that valve with the new black clip, planning on doing my own oil change soon.
I just installed the F-106 on my 2020 CX-5 (non-turbo). Fumoto advised me that I would need the ADP-106 adapter/extension, but I did not; there is plenty of room to spin on the valve itself.
Great video, not to be sexist, but it's pretty cool to see a woman that can do car work. That's awesome that they put the filter and drain plug right next to each other. I need to pick up one of these valves, looks like a breeze to change the oil with it. What year/generation is the CX-5? (you might want to add this to the video title for more views)
It’s best to follow the vehicles manual specifications. Adding too much oil can cause it to foam. This CX-5 requires 4.5 L. Checking the dip stick is important too.
Nice rocks. To keep jewelry nice and prevent unwanted damage to rings and car, I always remove my jewelry prior to working on the car. 🤙

SPER Thank you for the tip, it’s a 2015 Touring. I like that Asian vehicles are relatively easy to work on.
does that valve fit on a 2022 cx5?
What year is your CX-5 and what valve did you use? (Part number)
Thanks!
BillinSD Year: 2015
Part number: F-106 (STANDARD VALVE WITH 14MM-1.5 THREADS)

@@NBnKB2525 Thanks!
Is it ok if you filled up the whole 5liter oil in the engine?
