Wow! Never heard of this product before. Definitely getting one for my Pajero Sport. Thanks for the heads up! 👍🙂.
Just a quick tip though, fill the oil filter up with fresh oil before installing. Cheers.

I like to prefill my oil filters, and I think I'll stick to a normal magnetic drain plug. That 1/4 turn valve looked to easy to open.

I agree with you on filling the oil filter with new oil before installing, and using a magnetic drain plug. It comes down to doing what's easier for me, or what's best for my car.

Cheers, thank you. Refer to the Owner's Manual for this information for your vehicle. For this particular vehicle in AUS it is every 10,000 km or 12 months, whichever comes first.

Wrong oil used, 0w20 is recommended. Oil filter O ring should be removed from filter & lubed on BOTH sides.
Motor should be started while vehicle is ON stands & before replacing access cover to inspect for leaks. It would have been good to install a slightly larger "oversized" oil filter of proper specifications. ( Having over pressure relief valve & anti drain back valve)

Thank you for commenting, but Oil type depends on the vehicle, engine as well as the environment/season. I put the correct type of Oil in as per the Owner's Manual. I also installed the correct Genuine Mazda Oil Filter for this vehicle and engine. Cheers.

@@NJSInstructional I have a CX 5 Grand Touring. Oil specified is 0w20 synthetic. Temperatures in my area range from -25°f to 118°f.
I'm upgrading to Royal Purple 0w20 & a slightly oversized Royal Purple oil filter. Service life of the lubricant & filter are rated @ 22000 miles.
I've been a factory trained tech since the late 70's & have built race vehicles for off road before turning to Aerospace.
I managed to keep my 1984 Toyota running for 600k miles until it was extremely outdated .
I must've done something correct in maintenance.
