And in the painting, the person commonly known as St. Bartholemew was actually a guy named Steve, who was visiting, and they couldn't just leave him out.
That is an interesting story. Now according to the Gospel writing of John 20:14-18 Jesus first appeared to Mary Magdalene after his Father resurrected him to life as a spirit creature. Then she told the other disciples of Jesus Christ. Jesus did not go along with Jewish tradition that women could not be used as a witness. Mary Magdalene was a faithful follower of Jesus and she has been resurrected to heaven as a member of the Kingdom Government.
A faithful follower can also be pregnant by Jesus. No? Is it so strange that they both had sex? No not at all! But of course people do not wanna think between the lines, do they?
The truth! The truth blew away like dust as soon as mankind saw the potential of weaponizing a deity, so every century another one mysteriously appeared, but the stories have similarities. Why is that?
That would be amazing! Jesus was a Philosopher of his time. As a Philosopher he challenged the norms of society and he was HUMAN! just like Philosophers after him. Jesus had 12 people who wrote about his teachings along with Mary but when the King James Bible was created by man they had to toss out certain chapters to fit a narrative of control through Jesus.
@petrinajc I think what people believe about him was based on not just his teachings but the apparent miracles he performed which were akin to magic or supernatural and that if he backed up his words with actions word spread and he became important enough historically that there was no precedent for anyone before him. The Romans were tricked into getting rid of him by threatened Jewish nobility... And the Catholic Church needed to utilize his memory for their power and control. I would say he was more than a man or a man that made such a powerful impact he had brand value and real staying power. Think about it, up until the end of the 1st world war a hundred years ago where 15 million people perished for no reason the general public was almost fully accepting of the Catholic Church and it's doctrine. Slowly over time people lost their need for faith in the church because it became clear there were faults with the church itself ....but also...think about how long that monopoly lasted...from 500 AD to about 1920 AD. Roughly. That's a long time....and even now we have Christian fundamentalist movements taking over national US politics in the states that support an Israel that will potentially cause a full scale war in the middle east over what ? Zionism ? Prophesy ? Religious fanaticism? My gosh....we are back in the middle ages with the Crusades...all over again. I don't think the Muslims will lie down and take it. Hence alot of people are potentially going to die...once again...for the wrong reasons.
Well if there was evidence to any claim made in this story then whatever you believe is irrelevant of course. But don't pretend this is real in any way, considering Dan Brown himself makes it clear this is all the work of fiction

@@malahammer What a stupid theory. Da Vinci painted a medieval table, a medieval dinner. The table would be totally different during the time of Jesus, it would be a round table, much closer to the floor. Also, Jesus and his disciples would be sitting on the ground, around the table. And breaking bread and drinking from a SINGLE cup is an old Jewish Passover tradition.
