There's so much social awareness now more than ever with our access to content, that I find it hard to believe those occurrences were slip ups. I just wish that when we show rage, that it wasn’t such a contrast to how we really feel about ourselves as blacks and what’s going in the black community. However, to be in outrage at every anti black thing then at same, cry out about how much we love and desire all things light and bright, it’s a little... like fighting to escape quicksand. I wouldn’t walk into a store or give business to people that talk and/or behave like this way. This is one of the ways I consciously keep my “social/virtual dollar” out of the hands of people that don’t benefit the growth, development, and wellbeing of me or the black community.

I can't pretend that the outrage tactic has ever worked for me. I've never clicked on the shaderoom, Tmz etc in my life. Here in the U.K. there are media outlets that get paid absolute dust.
