I sometimes smell it while driving and thought it was an exhaust leak. I'm not getting any regen lights on my dash, but I wonder if I should do a force regen anyway? This DEF stuff confuses me. Great video, btw. Thank you.
Does that Soot light need to come on before the truck will allow a manual regen? I’ve got a check engine light, so I’m trying to run a regen to see if that helps, but the regen won’t run.
yesss....no cursing and tip top fingernails.....but dash and rest is a trush. never saw such a dirty truck. yeah, off course You have watched my video on regen in my new truck when I panic and it was very first video on subject to help others.
If ur hooked up to a trailer, u can just push the parking break and leave the Trailer breaks in the up position. Most trucks will then cancel out the idle shut down code.

If I smell it I do a regen first
I've been told the T680 will do a regen while you are driving. The only thing you might notice is the exhaust temperature light.
How often should you do a regen? I thought it does it on its own going down the road

Do you have a newer t680 or did you go another route? Also did you have problems with it calling for a forced regen way too often?
