Have a same problem but i ready replace 2 diferent sensors brand new from the dealer but the gauge starts fluctuating up and down and the truck goes to derate mode cause of the computer not reading the def level
Thanks for videos I'm having same issues with my 2020 kenworth t680
Just wanted to say thank you very much 😊
My apologies, but u definitely need another person running the camera and preferably a microphone cuz couldn't hear half of what u were saying and got motion sickness from watching the video.
Tyvm 🙏
I did my today bot wont star 🤦♂️ now
Thanks!
I am having the problem right now.
This sensor is $450 for the part alone and I have replaced mine twice.
If the DEF is too concentrated and too much urea is present, the heat from the machine can turn it into ammonia. The ammonia would go on to burn and deteriorate not only the DEF header, but the entire machine. To prevent the creation of ammonia, you should test the concentration of urea in your DEF using a refractometer.
My def gauge dropped to zero after driving through a bad thunderstorm. 1761:9 3031:9 seems like the same thing and maybe the temp sensor. Would you agree?
I truly appreciate your video, you saved me a ton of money. Thank you so very much!
Thank you.
Great vid! I’m starting to have trouble with mine and thinking about changing it myself.
Thanks for the video. You got a new subscriber

Thanks for your time
I have a Peterbilt 579 showing the same limp mode. I believe it’s causing my truck not to start what do I do?
In limp mode that means you have an after treatment problem, you can get your code read to see what the actual problem is, your truck can go into limp mode for other multiple reasons.
One of a kind! 😘
Hey I have a truck DD15 with the same issue and i changed the header and no change
Just to keep it simple first have you checked voltage coming from harness which plugs into the header? I ensure there's no breaks in the wires, another thing I will check also resistance. Also are you able to pull codes?
How do I contact you directly?
Hey great video I changed the sensor but still having the same issue
What you did in the end?
Helpful video nice work!
good job...

Was your truck going 5 miles?
Yes, just about so
@@smartmotives mines doing the same but I’m not sure what’s the problem
How did you know it was that sensor
@@cravorkiancarson9412 Code read on Cummins insite, verified the problem due to the gauge reading incorrectly with a half full tank.
Half full of DEF fluid.
This is soo helpful you did effortlessly.
