To professionally clean the filter, have a dealership with a commercialized oven bake it at metal bending temperatures and blow out the soot

I plan to do my own . Just got my filter replaced. The filter does not last for the life of the truck . Eventually ashes get driven into filter and hardens . cleaning will not remove that . Plus the filter itself will not generate the high heat to burn off soot . It is like a catalytic converter. Since new went in , fuel mileage went up nearly one mile per gallon, def usage went down to less than half. Also less rolling regeneration . I like seeing these helpful videos. Thanks man .

If I’m to do it again I would do a regen then I would wash it out afterwards cuz during the washing process it took almost 2 hours before I saw clean water coming out of the filter. I could see the literal ash coming out so I’m sure it helped. Hope this helps.
