You’re prob one of the most relatable / realistic influencers. You work “regular” jobs while also doing social media. You don’t shop like crazy from super expensive brands like most of us regular folk

I am TOTALLY with you. I’m looking for stability in so many ways (relationship, job search) as a grad student & keep waiting and waiting to feel secure in those realms…but trying to just establish security in what I can control (friends, exercise, schoolwork) and cross my fingers the rest is yet to come when it’s time! It’s so reassuring to hear your thoughts and similar experiences because I sometimes feel so “behind” my friends who are getting engaged/becoming managers at work…etc (im 26). But you remind me that everyone has a journey and it’s all going to be ok!

Take that back Kristee! You are an amazing influencer! So real, motivated and fun to watch! I grew up watching you and being the same age I love seeing someone living a realistic life mixed with excitement too 😁 Keep doing what you're doing and good luck with the job search 💪 ❤️

"what if we are all characters in a book, and when you get stuck, you pause, backspace, get rejected its because the author is figuring out what to write next" relax, work hard, and let your story be written, you have a long long life ahead of you, and remember what you're feeling now is in the moment, tomorrow is a new day and it doesn't have to be like today, you are in control, im crossing my fingers for you!

Kristee, thanks for sharing all of this with us! I can totally resonate with your reason for ending things. I always joke with friends that I LOVE conflict because the ability to have a productive, open conversation w people you care about is so special. I'm so glad you made your needs known even though ultimately they weren't met. Being able to communicate that at all says so much about who you are and how much you put into your relationships. The transition to being single is so hard, and in the middle of you transitioning careers too it's totally understandable that you're feeling a little bit unsettled. I'm happy that you're able to recognize that this is temporary. Things will fall into place again but remember to be kind to yourself in the interim!!

Talking about your vulnerability journey, I appreciate you opening up in this q&a. I think this is the most vulnerable I’ve ever seen you in the 5 years I’ve watched. I definitely see a lot of growth and that’s coming from just seeing snippets of your life, so it’s definitely showing in your day-to-day. Sending you lots of love and this next chapter of your life is going to be so fulfilling and rich❤️

As someone who is also going through a breakup, something my sister said really helped: you were brave to be open and vulnerable and love at all because it’s not easy to open yourself up to other people in that way, so be proud of yourself!

I’ve been watching you since I was in hs (and you were too), before you went to college in SoCal, and I loved your content then and love it now!!! My little sister wants to work for the UN too so I like learning more about your jobs and going thru a break up myself (next month will be 1 year since), I totally get you about having someone to talk to when something’s happen in your life (or when nothing is happening), it’s a strange time but you will adjust and you’re such a productive person so you’ll be goood, girl 💓💓💕💟🤗. I think any time of our lives can be transformative, it just depends on our perspective and what we do with our time. Growth takes time and when we look back, that’s when we can really see the difference.

I was job searching for two years, I totally understand how you feel. I had dozens and dozens of interviews and it was always such a hard hit on my confidence when I didn’t get the job. When I finally did get my job that I’m in now it truly just felt like the right place and right time and it was meant to be. I know you’ve been through this before and you kinda know how it goes, but I just want to reassure you that you’ll find a job that’s a great fit.

Sometimes over sharing is a good thing. It allows you to publicly get rid of those feelings. Once they are out you can just move on! Hope you find a job soon and just quick advice, think about what you want for your next relationship not just what you want to bring. They have to meet you halfway also so prioritize your needs/wants and don’t settle! You’re doing amazing and excited to see what the future holds for you. Enjoy the time off a bit! ❤

Kristee, I know exactly where you are right now. I graduated with my MA from GW in 2021, started looking for jobs in September 2021, applied to over 300 and had a few very promising interviews just to get rejected. I rethought my strategy and I now have a consultancy with the World Bank and one with USAID at the same TIME!! It's hard and disheartening and grueling, but it IS POSSIBLE. Hang in there bestie!!

Wishing you the best of luck in finding a new job and continuing life in your 20s. I think your 20s is such a weird part of life because you feel like you should have all of your shit under control whilst still trying to enjoy your youth and figure things out. You'll get there and you'll find the right job and the right person. Well done to you for knowing your worth 👏🏻 x

Making the decision to break up with someone is so hard. But in the end, it’s always for the best. It’s better to be alone than to wake up everyday trying to make something you are not happy in work. I broke up with my bf of 3 years back in February. It was so hard but I was miserable and my heart was no longer in it. And I’m proud of myself. It’s a sign of growth. Of knowing that you didn’t just stay because I
you felt obligated. Being single sucks but it’s far better than being in a relationship with someone who’s just not working out. Which in the end, I think, would’ve added more stress to your job hunt.
