Thank you for this. I've been waking up early around 4:30am since where I live, it'll take an hour to commute to work and work starts at 7:30. How I wish our work starts at 9am or something. It's difficult with the traffic and the limited number of public transportation.

In the summer, it's easy to get up between 4:30 AM and 5 AM with the sun pouring in my window (sunrise here is before 5 AM in June). I once tried a super early riser routine of getting up at 2 AM every morning no matter what, I lasted two weeks. I had more "me" time in the morning (or I guess part of it is really "the middle of the night") but I had minimal social life outside of Saturday morning and afternoon with friends, it took two weeks of that and collapsing from exhaustion after work before I went back to 5 AM-6AM wakeup time. Most people I talked to told me at 2 AM was overkill.

I have a Sofa Bed but when I get up, I do fold it away. I wash and brush my teeth, get dressed, have my coffee & breakfast (fruit salad), check my email. Read a daily bible passage, exercise with my weights. Get my Lunch, put it in my Knapsack then leave for the day. I get paid every second week but i have access to my payroll deposit sheet and I determine what needs to be paid in my budget.
