With your current contract ending, I would LOVE to see some job hunting content! How you look for jobs to apply for, resume and cover letter tips, interview outfits, negotiating tips, etc. I’d love to be taken on that journey with you as I am trying to find a new job myself. I know a new opportunity will come your way.
I love hearing you talk about your work outside of UA-cam! Even with respecting privacy and not being too specific about what exactly you are doing, it is still so interesting to hear about. It's also nice to see a different, more serious side of you. I think it really adds to how relatable you are. I've been watching since you first when to Chapman and I have loved growing up with you. :)

Putting oils in a nonstick pan creates a build up in the nonstick bonds-that’s what your food is sticking to. It’s the best way to ruin a nonstick pan (I’ve ruined countless 🥴). You shouldn’t need anything in that Always Pan! The toughest part is unlearning that oil is needed. Try soaking hot water and Dawn to help break down the build up then go oil free!
Also I read somewhere that non stick pans were created with low heat use in mind! If you use a higher heat level to cook the non stick coating will wear off really quickly

i was a freelancer so i definitely know the feeling when a position at a place you love doesn’t work out and there’s nothing anyone can really do about it. just keep going, the more places you work at the more experience + bigger network you will have! 💕

I have been doing contract work myself since January. I’m a completely different line of work but I know how you feel. My contract was up yesterday and they said I was extended but I woke up this morning to no tasks and a meeting at 8:30. I hope I am still extended but if not onward with the job hunt. I have kept my resume out there for just this reason. Have a great week.

also I like the eczema cream. another good one is the cerave eczema lotion. only big difference is that one doesnt have any steroids in it so when you need to put on lotion a lot, like winter time, it is nice to have that one too :)

I think Nike has a recycling program for their sneakers if your Air Force 1s are falling apart and you’re looking to dispose of them properly! There should be a page on their website that’ll tell you how to send the sneakers to them for recycling :)

Hi Kristee, is the eczema cream you use hormonal? That might have to do with your manicures not lasting. I’m a nail tech in training and have eczema. When I have a breakout and use my hormonal cream a lot, my own nails don’t last as long as they do normally ;)

@@02MaDdOg02 it’s the hormones! Manicures also tend to last shorter or not at all when you get them on your period, while pregnant or menopause ;)
Paint your new earings with clear finger nail polish and it will keep them from turning longer.

A colleague of mine was supposed to becoming full-time and they stated it only to replace her. It sucked.
I’m sorry this contract is coming to an end! I go back and forth with liking working full time, and also craving having full control over my own time and schedule. I don’t have another source of income so I cant leave and support myself any other way - so I’m almost jealous you will be okay without it, but I also understand the disappointment.

sorry to hear about the contract - very sad! I also was grant funded and was able to get an extension and additional funding with some carefully thought out presentations and "grant asks"- maybe that will be in the cards for you one day! :) fingers crossed :)

Yup. When I worked as a Fellow, I was hoping to get hired for a new position at the org but they decided to end my contract. The crappy thing was that I was already in the know about the project and they knew I wanted it.
This was for a non-profit org in D.C.

What has yours been doing? I have series 3 and it’s been just like randomly going to the restart screen (black w Apple logo) and I guess rebooting itself? The battery is also slowly going down but not surprise there

It said I walked 4 flights of stairs when I was working at my desk lol. The battery is awful, I have to charge it every night now when I used to charge like every 3 nights.

@@splashofpinkhearts my understanding it was a fixed-term contract. Not unusual in the not for profit/charity sector as they are heavily reliant on funding.
It was a contract position...so basically you can think of it like a temporary job. Not exactly the same as an internship.
Moral of the story...get a master's degree ..make more on UA-cam
