We can even switch around from one low carb way of eating to another. Doing so may help make low carb sustainable for us. As long as we stay consistently low carb it's ALL good.

I lost 120 lbs in 15 months on the healthy (unprocessed) version of the keto diet. Then I started researching the different diets and landed on paleo and Mediterranean diets as my preferred. Which are still unprocessed diets. But I mostly realized that, even in paleo, people eat seasonally. Foods that are good for the liver are naturally grown in the spring. Foods that are good for the stomach, like unprocessed carbs, are naturally found in the summer. Foods that are good for the large intestine and lungs are consumed in the fall. And fasting and carnivore diet are in the winter, which help support the kidneys. But at the end of the day, eliminating grains, sugar, and all processed foods has been the most beneficial. Thanks for the video!!

I am starting to look at this also and will try it. I competed in the 70's in Canada at the National level using the Atkins Diet. You are right, hard to stay on it. I found it hard to get cut as well but I seemed to get in better shape on Tuna/Water/Veggies and salmon. I prefer fish actually. A friend told me that spirulina/chlorella counters any mercury. What research do you have regarding folks with prostate cancer, my Gleason score reached 9/10? I read that protein and fats from meat and eggs cause cancer to be aggressive, by also raising testosterone. Lately, I find videos saying it is carbs and metabolic syndrome. I am on Trelstar an anti-testosterone med. I tried vegan but gained weight, so it might be the grains. Thanks for the video.

The problem with Atkins diet is, again, too much extra fat. It is also difficult to control the calories on that diet, so you have probably encountered the problems because of that. Also, some poeple benefit more when the amount of fat is lower in the diet. Regrding the second part of your question, you are better off talking to the experts in the field, but, low carb deit will definitelly be the choice. Many thanks and best regards, Nash.

Yes they did it fruits, but they were not staple food as were only seasonal and also did not exist during ice ages... the last ace age lasted 20 000 years... there were not much fruits around that time..
