  • Check out how to add your steering wheel controls back in after changing to an aftermarket radio! The loss of steering wheel controls for the radio is something I have seriously missed since doing my double din radio & tablet installation! Not any more!
    Click the link below where I've compiled a list of many of the mods I have done including the tablet components and products I use to detail my car

    You inspired me to do this myself these past couple days I installed my double din using your guidance along with getting the maestro, I own a 2010 bk1 auto and love it. But I will say to people that own a bk1 if you are intending on using the maestro sw your steering wheel like 4:46 .. it might not come up on the software if you have a 2010. It will only show another hyundai wheel. to bypass the issue you can select your car year as the later bk1 "2012" when I put that I saw my steering wheel as an option. your vids keep me modding thanks alot .. next up tablet install

      I’m also doing this to my 2010 bk1.What wires did yours say to connect? I got purple/red to brown. Black/white to black/orange and the black to ground.All to the A connector but I don’t seem to have those colors on my A connector. So firstly, the A connector is the big white one right? And there’s an orange with a black line is that the one? Help please.

    That Genesis is absolutely NASTY.
    A lot of gen coupes on UA-cam, and I love mine to death. But yours is pure beauty 😍

    Bro your channel gets me so hyped. That intro is sick. Puts a smile on my face to think I can get my car like that with enough money and effort one day

    Awesome vid Tim. Keep the content coming. I just ordered the same radio you have and will be following up on your vid to connect everything along with the maestro.
    I’m waiting for you to upgrade your gauges 😂. A bit scared to do it alone and there aren’t too many informative Genesis coupe vids for it. I figured you’d give a better tutorial.

      Well, i just spenmt 2 hours trying to get this thing to work. As soon as i turn on my car the light blinks green and thats it. Nothing works, it just increases my volume automatically and keeps going....

      Did you connect your signal wires to the car side of the harness? Only your power wires should be connected to the radio side of the harness. At least that’s how it had to be on my car. Otherwise I had the same problem you’re having.

    • @bloodstorm1231
      @bloodstorm1231 3 роки тому

      @@VehicleEvolution Yes i did. power and ground is coming from the radio harness, and the signal wires are tapped according to the diagram

    • @bloodstorm1231
      @bloodstorm1231 3 роки тому

      @@VehicleEvolution I also used t-taps. Maybe thats whats wrong. Going to remove those tomorrow and just do bare wire. If that doesn't work then im giving them a call. My dash is all torn to shit

    I was actually able to just use the factory plug because the pins passing through the plug that are blue/yellow/black match the wires on the backside of the plug, when i had to do with my JVC is use the steering remote blue/yellow cable on the deck and die it to the 4th wire on the maestro that you had taped off. Then it worked fine.

    Cars looking awesome, you should do a POV drive for everyone who wants to see how the car drives and for people looking to buy one as there aren’t really any good videos on UA-cam doing it.

    Just recently upgraded the shifter on my 2.0t auto. Not saying we all have to do the Same mods just saying it looks sweet. I installed the center peace with the manual version with a after market leather boot and a momo shift knob with button. Easy mod cheap parts and looks way better than the shiny black. Just an idea from me to you.🤙

    Glad to see you uploading again man! I was just wondering if you could possibly give me your input since you've been around cars way longer than me. I'm 19, college student paying for his own school and looking at getting my first sports car. I would rather stick with very little payments but no payments would be even better. My budget is about $8k. The main cars I am interested in are the Acura RSX Type S, 99-04 Mustang GT, and possibly a 350z. In your opinion which would you recommend going with? Do you have a different car in mind that's not one of those? *I live in Ohio with winter being a key factor but if I were to get RWD I would keep the ol' corolla as a daily driver in the winter

      Exhaust came from CNT Racing. Downpipe was actually from eBay but last time I looked for a link they were going for around $1100!! When I bought it they were all listed for about $200.

      It’s a walker style rear diffuser from amazon with side winglets I found on eBay. Links are all in the video description I did a couple of months ago on all of the mods to the car.
