Quick question for 2007 Toyota Camry with jbl.had someone hook up my 4 channel and I have the jbl system he took out the amp but ran the wires from my deck to my 4 channel and sounds really soft was wondering if I should take the deck harness where he hooked up the wires and run it off the factory amp harness? Please let me know thank you.
Is it possible to do this without an adapter on certain stereos? I have an atoto s8 standard and I’ve seen videos of people splicing it straight into there vehicles wiring harness.
Many variables - if your vehicle has analog steering wheel volume controls, you could yes get by without a module, just depends on the radio and it's programming. If you have canbus data-fed steering wheel controls, you will need a module. Most late model vehicles today will require a module like used in our video.
Very informative video. Can I remap the steering controls to be something else? For example, can I remap the "Mode" steering wheels button to instead activate Siri? I have this same Honda Accord steering wheel setup. Thanks.

I'm in the process of adding stereo controls to my 2005 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner. I got the modified air bag, and the steering wheel control switches (from a Toyota Camry Land Cruiser, 04-07 2006) from Ebay. (I was able to mount the switches to the steering wheel, ) I thought with my Kenwood Echelon 1057XR and the mmr2 steering wheel interface, every thing would wire up, WRONG !! ) It looks like I need to change out my existing clock spring and add a clock spring from a Toyota Camry Land Cruiser, so the wire harnesses will be compatible! Has anyone done this mod? and is changing out the clock spring the answer?? Thanks and awesome video!
Hi there. I have a honda civic 97 model. I want to install a honda accord steering wheel and I want to make it work with a 9inch touch screen. What's the best way on doing it and will it work. Please let me no. Thank you..
Please help! I have 06crv and I’m installing android head unit. They say you don’t need pac module but I ordered it anyway. I am almost done but can’t figure out where to wire the blue/yellow swc wire from the pac unit to my radio. The head unit doesn’t have a 3.5jack port and doesn’t have a swc wire
Two different setups - the Maestro RR or RR2 is a smart harness module that also controls data features of the vehicle and the radio, where all we did was retain the steering wheel control with the pac module. RR / RR2 are very pricy compared to what we did here.
I have Pioneer DMH-A340DAB and don't have in menu an option for Steering Wheel control ( in settings ) . The unit have a 3.5" jack SWC and i have the cable with Key 1 and Key 2 and Ground. Do you believe if i conect ONLY the wires ( Key 1 , Key 2 , Ground , 12V ) will work ?
Any suggestions on how to get it working again? It was originally working but stopped a few months after it started. I have tried going through the settings on the radio but it’s not letting me program it
Call button not working. After installing all buttons are working properly but when I press Answer Call button it turn the volume up. How to fix this problem???
Sony stereo I got the damn wires not the phone jack for the freaking stereo going to the steering column which wire's are they show me cars that aren't even mine real confusing lots of help stupid help

Hey thanks for making this video. Now I know why I’ll be paying somebody to do this for me. 😂😂😂
Great video, very well explained. this video gave me another 30 mins project that will turn into 4 hours😅
I really need to do this. My 4runner came with an aftermarket radio and the steering wheel controls have never worked
Love the content. Easy to follow and understand.
Thank you, it was a very nice explanation on your video. 😊

The drop-downs on the website aren't working. I can't get the wiring diagram from the link. Any workarounds?
Same, I’m trying it right now and no dice

How do I keep my top screen working with a aftermarket radio
Does these steps work with a 2012 Honda accord SE?
Very informative video. Can I remap the steering controls to be something else? For example, can I remap the "Mode" steering wheels button to instead activate Siri? I have this same Honda Accord steering wheel setup. Thanks.
Absolutely. The Pac instrutions walk you through how to reprogram them to your preference.

What parts will I need to do this on a 2007 mkx?
I'm presuming the Alpine TDA-7659R I'm going to put in my 2011 Fusion will not be capable of using the steering wheel controls?
So i have a kenwood dpx795bh how would you get the steering wheel controls to work for that??
How can you use factory Accord rear camera on aftermarket pioneer?
By any chance, would you know if the factory color wire harness are the same for the 2006 civic SI?
I don’t think are the same bro. After market are different and is not easy to figure it out how to connect them

Hey man do you know where I can find the diagram for my 2018 nissan versa note sv?
What advantage does this module have over the maestro from/rr2?

You said 24-pin harness, but it's actually a 28-pin, and that light blue wire is white.
Call button not working. After installing all buttons are working properly but when I press Answer Call button it turn the volume up. How to fix this problem???
I’m having the same problem can’t understand why does anyone have an answer??????????????
what if i buy an aftermarket steerinh wheel with 10 buttons can i set them up
Most likely not as you will need a supporting clock spring in the steering column to support it.
@@ProvoBeastAudio thanks

Great vid. The "music" is really distracting though.
Do you really need a module??? To use the steering wheel control for an after market stereo ???
some cars have the key wires routed somewhere in your stereo harnesses but most of the time you will need module
